Chapter 600: 600 Deducting Points

Chapter 600: Chapter 600 Deducting Points

Fu Yunhe stepped out of the apartment building, and the expressionless look on his face, coupled with the distance in his eyes, radiated an aura of inapproachability.

“Fu Yunhe, good morning.”

A crisp voice rang out, and a female soldier looked at Fu Yunhe with a slight nervousness in her eyes, waiting for his reply.

Fu Yunhe stopped in his tracks and glanced impassively at the speaking female soldier, his tongue as sharp as shards of Rubble.

“Article three of military glory and discipline requires a properly fastened uniform down to the first button and correctly worn military cap; you fail to meet the standard, deduct two points, please present your ID.”

Intimidated by Fu Yunhe’s demeanor, the woman obediently took out her card.

With a “beep,” two points were deducted.

Meanwhile, Fu Yunhe, who had deducted the points, walked away without a second glance, completely dismissing her.

He had the authority to deduct points because each temporary class required a class leader, and Fu Yunhe was the undeniable choice, possessing the right to penalize.

That card she held was the student identity card at the military academy, necessary for all actions, training, and more.

The female student stood there, on the verge of tears, staring at her card – what had she done to deserve losing two points?

Two points!

Those were two points!

Each student started with a base of ten points, and losing them all would mean expulsion from the academy.

The three-month training period was just that—training. They hadn’t even chosen their majors since two thousand of them could still be sent back.

The girl had summoned the courage to invite Fu Yunhe for breakfast, but in the end, she cursed at his retreating figure for several minutes.

What good is looking handsome or being strong if he dared to deduct her points?

So infuriating!

Fuming, the girl left and later spread the word about Fu Yunhe’s actions, causing some other interested female students to promptly abandon their intentions.

Others considered waiting until the three-month mark had passed. Approaching him now was too risky; what if points were deducted, leading to expulsion?

Those admitted to the Imperial Military Academy were all prodigies, not completely obsessed with romance. So, after some consideration, everyone unanimously chose to lie low and revisit the matter later.

This allowed Fu Yunhe to spend a quiet three-month training period. While some reignited their plans after the training, they quickly realized Fu Yunhe was far too busy.

Busy to the point of being unreachable, rendering any strategies moot.

Fu Yunhe went to the cafeteria and, after his meal, began his day’s training.

Meanwhile, Nian Shutong, who was the object of speculation, remained oblivious to what she had forgotten, since she was busy too.

On this trip, Shadowless was driven by Xia Tian, and Nian Shutong sat in the back alone, her hands occupied with needlework.

Her serious demeanor deterred Dou Dou and Ha Ha from disturbing her.

When Shadowless arrived at the Transfer Station, Nian Shutong gave Xia Tian a card – one that Master Huo from the Black Market of Tata Jupiter had once delivered.

“Xia Tian, see if there are any private compartments available.”

“Got it.”

Nian Shutong didn’t leave Shadowless, leaving Xia Tian to go alone to purchase tickets. When he returned, he said to Nian Shutong, “Sister Nian, there are compartments available. I’ve got one, and with this card, there was no charge.”

“Good, let’s go to the compartment.”

Nian Shutong put away her things, and the four of them along with a pig disembarked from Shadowless, which Nian Shutong packed away without delay before boarding the Starship.

The group, equipped with their cards, received exclusive service and were escorted to their compartment.

Nian Shutong thanked the person who had led the way.

“No need to thank me; it’s my duty.”

“Just let us know when we’ve arrived at our destination; otherwise, please don’t disturb us.”

“Understood, I’ll keep that in mind.” The guide bowed respectfully and stepped aside, and Nian Shutong’s group entered the compartment.

The compartment was spacious, with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.

“I’ll be in the bedroom. You all can do as you like outside; don’t disturb me unless necessary.”

“Understood, Auntie.”

“Ha Ha is obedient, a good child.”

“Don’t worry, Sister Nian, I won’t talk.”

Xia Tian’s words earned him a glance from Nian Shutong – he had learned his lessons well after some guidance.

From her Space Ring, Nian Shutong casually pulled out various items.

Fruits, snacks, meals, and sunflower seeds – she filled the table.

“Have fun and enjoy.”

She turned and opened the bedroom door, closing it almost instantly behind her, and continued with her embroidery.

The three outside each found a spot and chose not to speak, busying themselves with their activities.

Xia Tian donned his headphones to play games, snacking intermittently.

Dou Dou decided to watch cartoons, snacking occasionally.

Ha Ha chose to snack continually, focused on eating.

Little Pink Pig found a comfortable corner on the couch and went to sleep.

Before long, the Starship took off, and the four plus a pig carried on with their affairs.

They were headed to the final stop, with no concerns, and since the compartment catered to all their needs for food, entertainment, and rest, there was no need for them to go out.

Thus, an utterly relaxing journey commenced.

Far away on Tata Jupiter, Master Huo received information that the card he had sent to the big shot had finally been used.

It wasn’t that he was purposely tracking the VIP; it was that the card’s first usage counted as activation and resulted in a one-time record, which wouldn’t happen thereafter.

Master Huo paced back and forth in his home, wrestling with anxiety.

Should he go? The VIP’s destination was in Third District, and even if he went, a meeting was unlikely. But if they did meet, how would he explain without seeming like a stalker?

Master Huo tugged at his own sparse hair, still clueless.

“Stop pulling at it, Dad.”

A gentle male voice sounded, and a smile spread across Master Huo’s face as he looked at Lian Qing entering the room.

Lian Qing, appearing once again as a graceful young gentleman with his long hair loose and lotus steps, approached.

“Dad, what’s weighing on your mind that you’re neglecting even your most cherished hair?”

Master Huo affectionately gazed at his son, and every time he caught sight of him he thought: My son looks so good! Just like me when I was young.

“Qingqing, come here.” Huo Laoer shared the details with Lian Qing, his eyes filled with hope, waiting for an answer.

In Huo Laoer’s eyes, even if Lian Qing had lost his strength, his intellect was unmatched.

And indeed, this was the case.

After a moment’s thought, Lian Qing spoke to Huo Laoer, “Dad, there’s no need to be deliberate. I came over today to tell you that I’m thinking of stepping out for a while.”

“What! Where are you going? No, I can’t allow it!” Huo Laoer jumped up from his chair upon hearing Lian Qing’s words.

“Lian Qing, you’re so good-looking, what if someone snatches you away?”
