1302: Chapter 383 Tai’a Mountain, Start_4 1302: Chapter 383 Tai’a Mountain, Start_4 The flow of light was incredibly fast, and the pressure on Su He mounted swiftly.
“A bit heavy!” Su He stood suspended in the air, gasping for breath, and after a moment let out a wry smile: “Alright, not just a bit!”
Whoosh~
Boom!
With a loud noise, Su He fell from midair, crashing onto the yet-to-be-formed Tai’a Mountain.
Upon touching the mountain, a multitude of human voices rose up in his ears.
The voices, from far to near, caused the Symbols left in the Origin Space to tremble, and two scenes appeared before Su He’s eyes.
One was the increasingly solid Tai’a Mountain before him, the other was in the Origin Space, where strands of Origin Qi were being torn off by Tai’a Mountain.
These were the same voices he had heard in the Origin Space before!
Trees, beast roars…
The voices of all living creatures.
Tai’a Mountain was completely stripping the “Human Qi” from the Origin Space!
Meanwhile, Xuanting, Zhenyou, and Guiwang Mountain echoed each other from afar, their lights glittering, accelerating the separation process.
The pressure on his body climbed higher and higher.
Su He let out a wry smile, realizing he might have been too rash.
It’s likely that his senior sister had accounted for the Four Sacred Beasts of Transforming Beast Guide in her estimation of Su He’s Boundary Status.
Now carrying Tai’a Mountain, it was quite a struggle.
Just at this moment, out of nowhere, a heaven-reaching giant finger appeared, pointing directly at Su He.
Yuan Finger, it wouldn’t allow Su He to ascend the mountain!
Su He had a sudden realization, it was all too normal.
His mountain’s rise marked the maximum actualization of the Tao Mark.
Leaving Ji Tianchen aside, the Netherworld King and the First-Generation Taoist Master could likely make their return through this.
How could he allow that?
The finger pointed, crossing unimaginable distances from another great world, piercing the veils of obscurity, pointing straight into the Taoist Founder’s Space.
Just then, a colossal figure emerged in the void.
Thai Zu still had half a catfish in his mouth, which he swallowed whole before raising a paw and smacking it down.
“Roll back!”
Where claw met finger, a thundering roar ensued and the world collapsed…
In Su He’s eyes, the world truly fell apart.
In an instant, several Symbols from the Yuan Finger were shattered by Thai Zu’s strike, and then a sense of decay rose from the Mystery Yellow Qi near Su He.
Plague, war, sorrow…
All sorts of negative energies erupted at once.
Since they were born of Human Qi, these negative energies were naturally included.
Up to now, they had been mixed as Mystery Yellow, maintaining a state of balance.
Yet now, they were disturbed by the collapsing of the Symbols due to that finger, and sprang forth.
Thai Zu turned his head, blinked his eyes and said, “Oops!
Little Turtle, this thing I can’t help you with.
Not carrying Human Mountain, this energy can’t be broken.”
Su He also sensed it.
The negative energies of decay gathered, condensing into the appearance of a person shrouded in a grey robe, resembling an emperor.
Just as with Dragon Turtle’s ability to discern humans, one look at this emperor and his name was known.
Disaster Sky Monarch!
An aura of terror arose, no weaker than the Yuan Finger!
Upon appearing, he opened his eyes and looked at Su He, declaring, “For usurping the foundation of others, thou must be slain!”
With his sword, he struck down.
Su He, still crushed by Human Qi on Tai’a Mountain, couldn’t move an inch.
His body was fully exerting itself to adapt to this pressure but was unable to do so in an instant.
Watching as the sword of Disaster Sky Monarch descended, Su He let out a roar, about to summon his Turtle Shell.
But at that moment, a Sword Ring was heard, and from Zhenyou Mountain flowed the Yellow Springs.
A Sword Light slashed out, aimed directly at the Disaster Sky Monarch.
A clash deflects the Disaster Sky Monarch’s strike.
The Disaster Sky Monarch, upon seeing the sword light, is filled with rage, labeling it a thief of the Origin itself!
He wields his sword and strikes down once more, not aiming at Su He or the sword light, but at his own head.
With a single strike, he cleaves himself in two, transforming into two identical Disaster Sky Monarchs—one towards the sword light, and the other towards Su He.
As the sky shines with flowing light, both slashes descend simultaneously.
This sword move, although not as powerful as before, still surpasses the Sealed Emperor Great Ancestor and is not confined to the level of an Immortal Sovereign.
Su He catches his breath, having just adapted to some of the pressure exerted by human Qi, and raises one arm to summon the Pangolin, only to feel a quiver in the External Space, as a scroll flies out and suspends itself mid-air.
From the scroll, a phantom of the Tian Emperor emerges, sighing as it positions itself in front of the figure.
“You, who are not even a living being, dare to covet control over the life and calamities of living creatures?” With a casual slap, the phantom of the Tian Emperor repels the attacking Immortal Sword.
Su He adapts to more of the pressure and once again reaches out, bracing on both hands and laboriously extricating his upper body from the man-shaped cave on the mountain.
Looking up at the sky.
Both the sword light and the phantom of the Tian Emperor stand side by side.
The phantom of Heaven and Earth speaks to the Disaster Sky Monarch in front: “You are not a living creature, yet you possess the vile roots of one.
When the three of us ascended the mountain, you didn’t dare to show yourself.
But when we were absent, you bullied my junior brother?
Indeed, you are a manifestation of all beings’ betrayal!”
While speaking, the phantom reaches into the scroll and grasps an Immortal Sword, tossing it into the sky where it merges with the sword light, empowering the Netherworld King’s Immortal Sword with an intensified chill.
The Tian Emperor’s phantom also holds a Big Seal in hand, lifting it to smash it down on the Disaster Sky Monarch before it.
A collision occurs and the three entities separate, but two Disaster Sky Monarchs simultaneously lift their swords, striking themselves again to release an aura that fuses into a new Disaster Sky Monarch.
Two go directly for the Immortal Sword and the Tian Emperor’s phantom, while the other still charges straight for Su He.
Determined to not cease until he is slain.
Just as Su He’s upper body starts to regain mobility, he claps his hands and shoots backwards, dodging the attack.
However, the Disaster Sky Monarch closely follows, swooping in with a transforming strike.
A voice from Guiwang Mountain grows from distant to near, shouting: “Worry not!”
The voice originally echoes from Guiwang Mountain, but upon touching down it is already on Tai’a Mountain.
No figure is seen, yet the Disaster Sky Monarch suddenly retreats, as if the mere voice has vibrated him away.
Su He’s lower body recovers, slightly moving his body, his breathing growing even more urgent.
His senior brothers and sisters had long anticipated the challenges he would face upon ascending the mountain and left corresponding methods to cope!
After a brief respite, Su He’s breathing slowly steadies.
Looking up, he sees the three Disaster Sky Monarchs once again synchronously raise their swords, each splitting themselves in half.
Three auras merge into one, and a new Disaster Sky Monarch is born, advancing once more to slay Su He.
Four apprentice siblings, four Disaster Sky Monarchs.
The scales could not be more balanced!
Su He looks towards the other three, only to see the phantom of the Tian Emperor beckoning the scroll to fly over, wrapping him and one of the Disaster Sky Monarchs out of Tai’a Mountain and onto Xuanting Mountain.
The scroll unfurls, and the Forty-nine Floating Islands suppress simultaneously with a thunderous boom.
That Disaster Sky Monarch lets out a plaintive cry, like an infant’s wail or a woman’s lament, shattered by the Floating Islands into a fine mist, merging into the heart of Xuanting Mountain.
Almost simultaneously, the Immortal Sword slays another Disaster Sky Monarch to Zhenyou Mountain.
And the voice that offered “Worry not” resonates on both Guiwang and Tai’a Mountains, as if creating a teleportation channel, whisking away another Disaster Sky Monarch.
The bustling Yellow Springs flow, the Tai Chi rotates, and the two Disaster Sky Monarchs crumble at the same time, turning into ashes integrated into their respective mountains.
Human Qi, after all, isn’t solely about positivity.
There is good and there is evil; only with both can it be complete.
The three senior siblings deal with their respective Disaster Sky Monarchs and then subside into utter silence.
On the vast expanse of Tai’a Mountain, only Su He and the last Disaster Sky Monarch remain.
This one belongs solely to him; no one else can suppress it for him.
