Chapter 2 The Next Day

The next day, close to noon, I suddenly heard a commotion outside.

When I went outside to look, the factory gate was blocked by a group of young术士 (shushi – Taoist practitioners/sorcerers).

Nie Xiaochun, holding a black umbrella, was arguing with them. Old Zuo hurried over, “Master Li, these术士 (shushi – Taoist practitioners/sorcerers) said they’re here to demand justice from you. They don’t know…”

Qin Xin also appeared beside me at this time, “These people are the ones who were cursing you online a few days ago. Their sudden appearance suggests someone is backing them.”

Ye Yang coldly said, “There's someone filming in that tree over there.”

When I looked up, I did see someone with a camera set up on the tree. It looked like they came prepared with professional recording equipment.

I said in a low voice, “Qin Xin, go get the ghost guards and see if there are any ringleaders nearby.”

Nie Xiaochun saw that no one in the crowd responded and sneered, “You don’t dare, do you?”
