Early the next morning, just as Ye Qiu was waking up and preparing to wash up and head downstairs for breakfast, his counselor, Song Ying, called him.
"Are you up yet?"
"Counselor, it’s so early, what’s the matter?"
"Today the Jin University basketball team is heading to East Sea University for an away game, did you forget?"
"What time?"
"Two in the afternoon."
Ye Qiu thought it was in the morning, but two in the afternoon, there’s still time!
"Still early."
Ye Qiu hung up the phone. Right now, Coach Li and the university basketball team players were waiting for Ye Qiu to come over, not expecting that Ye Qiu thought it was still early.

"Why are you only arriving now?"

Of course, the school team was different; they needed to head to the game venue early to get accustomed to the surroundings.
"Coach Li is waiting for you!"
Song Ying then dragged Ye Qiu towards the basketball arena.
Along the way, with her wearing high heels, Song Ying attracted the attention of many male and female students.
By the time they reached the basketball arena, Jin University’s head coach Li Yiping, the assistants, the main team players, and substitute players were all present, waiting for Ye Qiu.

"Student Ye, we’ve finally been waiting for you."

"Really?"
Li Yiping and the other main team players were somewhat skeptical.
"You guys should head to East Sea first, I’ll be there at ten."
"Remember to come over, we’ve got the number ten jersey ready for you."
When Li Yiping and the other school team players boarded that bus, Ye Qiu naturally drove himself over.
"Can you really win the game without playing?"
Song Ying asked curiously.
"Of course, I mean what I say. And today, you’ll soon owe me a kiss. Remember to give me one when I return from East Sea."

If not for having class in the afternoon, Song Ying still wanted to follow Ye Qiu to East Sea to watch the game. But she had an English class in the afternoon, so naturally, she couldn’t go along.
Ye Qiu, walking alongside high-heeled Song Ying, left the basketball arena, planning to drive to East Sea at ten. He and Zhou Wenting had already gone to East Sea a few times due to visa appointments; it took just over an hour on the highway.

"Brother Ye, we heard you’re going to the basketball game; can you take us along to watch?"

"Not going."
"Then hop in!"
Ning Yun drove his BMW there, and Luo Yang and the others hopped in, while Ye Qiu first left the campus, fueling up at a gas station before heading towards East Sea.
Throughout the journey, Luo Yang and the others seemed delighted, and they found the luxury car incredibly comfortable. With Luo Yang being over six feet tall, sitting in regular small cars required bending uncomfortably. But in Ye Qiu’s car, it was just too comfortable.
After about an hour and forty minutes, Ye Qiu arrived once again at the bustling Great East Sea.
Then, following the GPS directions, they headed towards East Sea University.
Upon arriving at East Sea University’s entrance and passing through the security check, Ye Qiu found that the higher-ranked institution in Huaxia’s largest city was indeed impressive.
Once they found a place to park, the bus carrying the school team had already arrived, with the team warming up and getting used to the basketball venue ahead of time.
Ye Qiu checked the time, and it was close to lunch. He decided to eat lunch first.
As for the basketball matters, he wasn’t in the least bit anxious.
"Let’s eat lunch first, and after lunch, we’ll check it out."
Ye Qiu didn’t consider himself as part of the school team, and he definitely didn’t want to do like other team members; he just wanted to help Jin University win the game.
The street outside East Sea University was far livelier than Jin University’s area with a lot to offer in terms of food, drink, and entertainment.

When Ning Yun parked the car, Ye Qiu and Luo Yang, along with the other five, went to an East Sea restaurant, found a place to sit and eat. Luo Yang asked, "Brother Ye, aren’t you going to blow them away on the court this afternoon?"
With Ye Qiu’s speed, three-point shooting accuracy, rebounding, slam dunks, and shot-blocking, he was almost at NBA player level; facing East Sea University’s players would be a piece of cake. He would destroy them for sure.
"I’m not getting on the court."
"Brother Ye, then how will we win?"
Upon hearing this, Luo Yang and the others were somewhat disappointed, expecting Ye Qiu to at least take the court for a quarter to crush the opponent’s team.
"You’ll find out soon."
While a waitress brought over a menu for them to order, Ye Qiu’s phone rang; it was the counselor calling.
"Ye Qiu, are you at East Sea yet?"
"I’m having lunch outside of East Sea University."
"Coach Li wants you to come over and join the team now."
Li Yiping was worried Ye Qiu might change his mind and not show up, so he urgently called Ye Qiu to gather with the team and have lunch together.
"Counselor, no rush."
Ye Qiu then hung up the phone.
It seemed Li Yiping was too anxious. Now Ye Qiu was somewhat curious about how he managed in a professional team before, with so little patience.
Ye Qiu and Luo Yang ordered dishes, slowly finishing their meal, and it was already one in the afternoon when Ye Qiu and Luo Yang went inside.
Now the Jin University school team players were losing their composure, naturally not daring to say much to Ye Qiu, but seeing Ye Qiu act like a big shot, not showing up, made them a bit uncomfortable.
