Chapter 225-1: Supreme Quality, Overbearing Power of Faith (Part 1)

Fortunately, Nilo had only converted one Dawn Priest this month, so Li De still had over 1700 points of Faith Energy remaining on his attribute panel, enough for a single attempt.

"Kosso, come here."

Li De’s calm voice rang out across the small plaza in front of the blacksmith shop, reaching everyone’s ears.

The crowd, which had been abuzz with discussion, slowly quieted down upon hearing his voice.

All eyes immediately shifted toward Li De.

Clad in his black mage robe, Li De instantly became the center of attention.

Having faced countless grand occasions before, Li De remained as composed as ever. He raised his head slightly and calmly spoke to the armored, seven-blade-tall Bronze Cyclops approaching him.

"Kneel."

Kneel??

This emotionless command instantly cast the entire scene into silence. No one dared to breathe heavily as they watched.

Children in the crowd instinctively clutched their parents’ hands, their eyes filled with curiosity and tension. The women tightly grasped their sleeves, their eyes full of worry, fearful that this giant might react in a way that would endanger Lord Kachar.

Even Valen, the Dwarven Grandmaster smith, froze, looking at Li De with a mixture of complex emotions.

To make a being as powerful as a Bronze Cyclops, at least Level 15, kneel without any explanation?

Before anyone could think further, the seven-blade-tall Bronze Cyclops, clad in eight tons of heavy armor, directly dropped to one knee under everyone’s gaze without a trace of hesitation at Li De’s simple command.

His massive head bowed deeply toward Li De, like the most humble subject paying homage to his king.

Looking at the head that was almost taller than his shoulders, Li De’s mouth twitched slightly. Under everyone's gaze, he reached out his right hand, passing between the curved horns and resting his palm upon Kosso’s helmet.

"My most loyal warrior, in the name of the Lord of Dawn, I bestow power upon you."

His voice was deep and solemn. With the black mage robe fluttering gently in the breeze, paired with his deep, dark eyes, perfectly handsome features, and noble, unapproachable aura, the scene reached its peak of grandeur in the eyes of the surrounding onlookers.

Many of the believers directly fell to their knees, beginning to worship Li De.

As the words fell, under the tense watch of everyone, a pure and sacred light emerged from Li De’s palm resting upon Kosso’s helmet.

The light was holy and gentle, carrying a calming aura.

Instead of dissipating, the divine radiance directly infused into Kosso’s armor.

The originally pitch-black armor was instantly illuminated by the holy light, which spread like a spider web from the top of the helmet to the entire body.

The sight resembled a god descending to earth to baptize his follower.

It radiated an aura of sacred and untouchable nobility.

As the holy light erupted, the surrounding residents even heard faint hymns echoing in their ears, the murmurs of countless believers praying.

At this moment, the believers of the Dawn Order could no longer remain composed. With unimaginable fervor in their eyes, they knelt down, pressing their hands together at their chests, beginning their most devout prayers to their god.

Not only the believers,  even those who did not worship the Dawn Order were deeply shaken.

A sense of inexpressible reverence surged in their hearts. Following the believers, they too knelt in unison on the ground, using their most respectful gesture to welcome… a miracle.

"O God of Dawn, Your followers welcome Your arrival with utmost reverence. We are about to usher in hope and light."

"A miracle! This is His Majesty displaying a divine miracle!"

"Your Majesty, Your glory shall shine upon this world!"

"By the Goddess above, I... I have truly witnessed a god!!"

Valen, standing to the side and witnessing this scene, was filled with utter disbelief. At this moment, the beliefs he had held for so many years were rapidly collapsing.

As a dwarf who had lived a long life, how could he not know that such holy power could only be borrowed from the gods by the most devout priests of the Temple?

This was sacred power belonging to the gods!

But that wasn’t even the main issue. The real question was, how could a vampire wield the holy power of light?

What kind of joke was this!!

You’re a vampire! Shouldn’t you be using dark and sinister magic? Why are you wielding holy, sacred power?!

Even if Li De were a Transcendent or even a Legend, Valen would not have been this shocked. But for a vampire, who was supposed to be countered by divine power, to wield such radiant, sacred strength, this completely shattered his worldview.

It was no different from seeing undead basking in the sun, fire elementals swimming in the ocean, or elves casting necromantic spells!

Valen was on the verge of losing it. His long-held traditional concepts were completely blown to pieces.

He had originally thought he had uncovered some of Li De’s secrets. But now he realized that these so-called secrets were nothing more than surface-level things.

What was truly hidden in the shadows was a bottomless abyss, an unfathomable mystery.

Li De, unaware of the immense commotion he was causing, had already closed his eyes and was fully focused on controlling the Faith Energy.

Though he hadn’t yet researched many applications for Faith Energy, since it was his own power, controlling it was not difficult.

Guiding the Faith Energy within him, he slowly directed it into Kosso’s armor. As the energy flowed, a thought stirred in Li De’s heart, and he quietly immersed his consciousness into the Faith Energy.

As the Faith Energy entered Kosso’s armor, Li De observed, for the first time, the armor’s structure from the microscopic interior and witnessed the role Faith Energy played.

Once inside, the Faith Energy acted like a universal repair energy. Many imperceptible cracks formed during the forging process, or impurities that affected the armor's stability, were completely purified as the Faith Energy flowed through.

Bit by bit, every section touched by the Faith Energy became noticeably harder.

One hundred points, two hundred points, three hundred points, until all of the Faith Energy had been infused into Kosso’s armor, at which point Li De slowly opened his eyes.
