Chapter 139: Wiped Out
"So that’s what happened," Denny said, nodding his head. "So when are we going to save the King?"
Everyone stared at him as if he were a complete fool.
"Save?! We can’t even fight the weakest enemy in there! And you dare say ’save’?" Alexandra yelled at him.
"Next time, think about your grandmother before you say such a thing."
Denny rubbed his neck with a nervous chuckle. "So what should we do?"
"We follow the King’s order and return," she said, walking past him toward the warship.
Denny stared at the soldiers, who, without a second’s hesitation, followed behind Alexandra. He sighed helplessly and trailed after them.

"Hmm..."
Ellen’s eyes fluttered open. She was on the ground, but...
"What are you doing?!" she yelled at Vinous, struggling against the chains wrapped around her and the tree.
"Calm down, Princess... I can’t wait for another decade just for the fruit to ripen," the red-furred cat said, sitting before her. Behind him stood thousands of Giants of all sizes.
"But with your powers, it will instantly ripen for my Queen."
"Then... what are you waiting for?" Ellen asked, staring directly at Vinous.
"The storm must clear," he answered, looking up at the dark, stormy clouds.
"Is that even possible?" Ellen asked, surprised.
"Yes... It happens every ten days."
"So if you missed it, you would have to wait another ten days?" Ellen asked again.
Vinous frowned. "Why so many questions?"
"Oh... I’m just getting information for my father."
WHOOSH!
Vinous’s head snapped up just as thousands of lightning bolts rained down on them.
"What the?!" He quickly spread his wings and shot out of the way.
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
Vinous stood on a branch, watching in fascination as the lightning bolts annihilated every Giant. In less than ten seconds, only the leaders were left.
"Forbidden skill? Who would have thought that guy has a forbidden skill?" Vinous muttered, his gaze sweeping the area.
"But... why can’t I sense him at all?"
WHOOSH!!!
Vinous only saw a flash, and two of the Giants’ leaders dropped dead to the ground.
"He took out two leaders in less than a second?!" His calm demeanor instantly shattered.
"That’s my dad!" Ellen said with a smile.
Vinous looked down at her, then up at the sky as the storm began to clear.
"Hahahaha! He’s still late!" he laughed as a pillar of white light shot down from the sky and slammed into the tree.
"Ahh!!" Ellen screamed in pain as her energy rapidly flowed from her into the tree.
"Hahahaha!! It is working!! It is working—"
Vinous froze as darkness once again enveloped the tree, and the absorption was halted.
"This?!" He looked up to see dark clouds covering the light.
"You!!"
He lowered his gaze to Sunny, who walked out of thin air, his eyes fixed on Vinous.
"A peak Demigod rank?! Impossible, how can you break through to such a high rank in such a short time?!" he asked in shock.
"Get down here!" Sunny snapped his fingers, and the remaining Giant leaders turned into rock statues, which then shattered.
"Another Forbidden skill?! You actually have two???" Vinous leaped into the air and landed before Sunny.
"It seems I will have to go all out with you!" he said as a red smoke enveloped his body.
Sunny watched as the smoke dispersed, revealing the humanoid cat.
"Finally... I finally met someone who can make me show my full strength," Vinous said with a smirk.
"Now die!"
He spread his wings and shot toward Sunny.
"...?!"
’Why is my speed greatly reduced?’ he thought in horror.
"Is... Is this a curse?! You also have a curse skill?!"
{Slow Curse activated.}
"Last time, I was careless... But now..." Sunny’s golden eyes glowed red. Before the charging Vinous, he transformed into a 200-meter-long serpent, his body creating spiderweb cracks on the ground.
Vinous instantly came to a stop:
"Jormungandr!! Who really are you?! Are you perhaps from the Great World?! There’s no way you could have an ancient bloodline if you are from the Lower World!" he yelled, quickly leaping backward.
CRACK!!
"...?!"
Vinous looked behind him as the space tore open, and a huge tail flew out, smashing into him with so much force that it sent him flying tens of meters away.
"You are just a mere servant, and you dare to take my daughter." Sunny’s voice was both eerie and ancient, sending dread through everyone who heard it.
Ellen stood there with wide eyes, staring at the colossal serpent. Before her father, Yggdrasil looked like a standing twig.
"Hey."
Ellen turned to the side, seeing Star.
"Sister Star?"
"Shh... I’m getting you out of here." Star placed her hand on the chains, activating [Star Burn]. Ellen watched as the chains in Star’s hand melted and snapped.
"Come on... Let’s go," Star said, but Ellen stopped her.
"Not yet... I need something," she said, looking up at the tree, only to see it was empty.
"Where is the fruit?" she asked in surprise.
"I have it. Come on," Star said.
"No... I want to destroy the tree."
Star was speechless. "Now?!" she asked with a frown.
"Yes... Someone is in this tree," Ellen said, staring at the tree. "And a weapon."
"....?!"
Star stared at her for a second, then turned to Sunny, who was looking in the direction where Vinous had been smashed, and sighed helplessly.
"Okay... How do you plan on doing it?" she asked.
"I discovered something in my memories," Ellen said, placing her hand on the tree trunk.
’When that man, who calls himself my father took the two fruits, he said something to the tree... I didn’t know what he was saying back then, but I do now...’
She closed her eyes and slowly merged her celestial energy with her spirit energy, unleashing everything on the tree.
BOOOOOOM!!!!
Sunny and Vinous, who had just gotten up, turned toward the explosion, staring at the withering tree in shock.
"No!!!" Vinous yelled and lunged toward the tree.
