Chapter 192: How Dare You?!!
Rage contorted Jinx’s face. Without a shred of hesitation, she launched a straight, unrestrained punch. The ordinary woman reeled back from the blow, stumbling and falling hard onto her backside. Her nose was clearly broken, and blood immediately began to flow.
"Mother!"
A young man shouted, rushing to help the woman up. Nearby, Star calmly assisted Ellen to her feet.
"You! How dare you hit my mother!" the son shrieked at Jinx.
POW!
Before the young man could finish his outburst, a straight punch from Blood Eye—appearing as if from nowhere—sent him sprawling to the ground.
"Son!" the woman gasped, her shock momentarily overriding her pain.
"How dare you push her down!" Jinx advanced, her hand snaking out to seize the woman’s neck.
"Let go! What are you doing?! You can’t kill me just for pushing someone!" the woman choked out. Her panicked defiance only made Jinx’s grip tighten.
"Let go of the madam!"
WHOOSH!
Jinx instantly released her hold and leapt back as a dagger flashed past her, burying itself into the metal gate.
The group spun around, seeing a young woman clad in knight’s armor strode toward them, her eyes ablaze with lethal intent. Behind her followed four more knights, all wearing armor of the elite class.
"Help us, Sister Vicki!" the young man yelled, his face already swelling from the punch he’d taken.
Vicki stopped before the mother and son, quickly assessing their injuries. She then turned her cold gaze onto Jinx.
"How dare you?" she hissed.
By now, a crowd of onlookers had gathered, their faces glued to the unfolding spectacle.
"How dare I?" Jinx scoffed, a predatory smile pulling at her lips.
"You bitch of a madam knocked my sister to the ground! You should be grateful she’s still breathing, and you dare ask how dare I?" Her voice was laced with killing intent.
"What’s happening?" someone in the crowd whispered.
"It looks like that woman pushed the little girl out of the line, and her sister is furious," another replied.
"That’s awful, but that woman... she’s the wife of a high-ranking official in the Star nation. I recognize her from the news," a third added, a tremor of fear in their tone.
"That little girl looks familiar," a person muttered, staring at Ellen.
"You’re right, but her hair is black, so she can’t be the one."
The murmuring crowd watched, fascinated and terrified.
Vicki eyed Jinx with open disdain. "You have one minute to cut off the hand you used to strike the young master and madam—"
BAM!
A kick slammed into Vicki’s chest, the force sending her staggering five steps backward.
"...?!"
"...What?!"
The mother, son, and the four guards froze, stunned. Their heads whipped toward the attacker—it was Star.
Vicki gripped her stomach, her face contorted in pain; even the elite armor had failed to absorb the kick’s full strike.
"A peak Celestial Rank?" Vicki muttered, her voice thick with disbelief.
Star held the knight’s gaze for a long moment, then turned to the mother and son.
"Apologize to my niece, or lose your hand." Her voice was like ice. Her long, luminous purple sword materialized in her grasp.
"....?!"
"Oh my god!!"
The sight of the fully starred, Grand-Class weapon made every eye widen in collective shock and horror.
"Oh my God! That’s a fully starred Grand-Class sword!" someone exclaimed in the crowd.
"Such a powerful weapon could only belong to a powerful warrior, with a powerful background. Who is she?"
"I don’t know, but the tide has certainly turned."
"This is getting interesting," another observed.

High atop a nearby building, twenty figures in dark, concealing clothes watched the scene unfold. All of them held fully starred Grand-Class weapons.
"That woman dared to pushed the princess! She must be killed!" the lady standing beside the group’s leader spat, radiating killing intent.
The leader raised a hand, silencing her. "No. We are tasked to remain in the shadows. We only reveal ourselves if it is truly necessary. For now... we observe."
The lady turned her gaze back to the gate, clenching her fists. Sunny had saved all twenty of them and changed their lives for the better. And now, someone had dared to insult his daughter. It was maddening to simply watch. She desperately wanted to leap down and tear the offending group to pieces but held herself back, respecting the leader’s command to stay concealed.

"Who is threatening my wife and son?!"
Everyone turned as a man in an expensive suit marched toward them. The onlookers quickly parted to make way for the official and the ten men trailing him.
Seeing the man, his wife and son scrambled to his side, tears streaming down his wife’s face.
"Husband! She hit me!"
"Yes, Dad! She hit me too!"
"Master, be careful," Vicki warned. "She is a Celestial Rank warrior."
"So what?! I am a Celestial Rank now! I will not stand by and watch someone bully my family!" he roared, his face contorted with murderous rage. He nodded curtly to his family and stepped past them.
"Now, how dare you attack—"
His voice seized in his throat the instant his eyes met Star’s.
"You... You... You..."
He dropped instantly to his knees, sweat pouring down his face.
"Miss... Miss... Why are you here?" he whispered, his face ghastly pale with terror.
"You," Star said, frowning slightly. "I remember you. Aren’t you the merchant I saved two days ago?"
"Yes! Yes! I am the one!" The man bobbed his head furiously.
"Honey! Why are you kneeling before this bitch?!" the wife screamed in outrage.
"Yes, Dad! Why?! She hit me and Mum! You should be dealing with them!" the son yelled.
"You fools!" The man surged to his feet and delivered two savage, open-handed slaps to the faces of his ignorant wife and son.
"Husband! Why did you hit us?!" the woman shrieked, stupefied.
"Are you stupid?! She is the First Commander under God Wolf! With a single command, our entire family will be wiped out! Even the Star nation won’t protect us!" he yelled at them, his words stunning everyone into horrified silence.
".....?!"
"What did you say?!" the woman stammered, her face finally reflecting the full weight of their disaster.
