Chapter 11 A Beam of Light

The sound of footsteps stopped at the edge of the hatch on the deck, and a beam of light shone in.

Having been in the dark for so long, Jia Wenjun instinctively squinted her eyes at the sudden bright light, wanting to hide under the huge bags, but she couldn't move them no matter how hard she tried.
