Chapter 119 Resurgence

Dark Winter, Death's Descent, and Tianluo Gate held an absolute advantage. Although they encountered fierce resistance from Star Brilliance, everything was going smoothly. More than two thousand people had been reduced to just over five hundred, while the combined casualties of the three guilds numbered only two hundred.

The members of Star Brilliance were still struggling desperately.

Ming, Lie, and three others intercepted six priests and instantly knocked them all to the ground.

Blood煞's twenty-plus Thieves pushed the wolf pack tactic to its limit, appearing in groups of three to five, leaving behind a trail of corpses before disappearing without a trace.

The Warriors used various skills to try and stop Star Brilliance.

Star Brilliance and his men were surrounded. Of the dozen or so Warriors, only three remained: Star Brilliance and two Warriors named Bitter Coffee and Lonely Fallen Leaf.

The two Warriors stood in front of Star Brilliance, shielding him.

"Guild Leader, quickly use a random teleport scroll and get out of here! We can hold them off for a while!" Bitter Coffee shouted anxiously.

"Damn it, if I'm going to die, I'm taking Ice Seal the World with me!" Star Brilliance cursed, activating a Strength skill, his muscles bulging.

Roar! Star Brilliance let out a lion-like roar, using Shock to send three Dark Winter Warriors flying.

Star Brilliance charged towards Ice Seal the World.

"Guild Leader!"

"Cover the Guild Leader!" Seeing that he couldn't dissuade Star Brilliance, Lonely Fallen Leaf shouted and charged towards the Dark Winter members around Star Brilliance.

"No, we can't hold on without healing!" Bitter Coffee shouted anxiously.

They were being targeted by Shadow Priests, preventing them from escaping with scrolls.

Dozens of spells came whistling down, hitting Bitter Coffee and depleting his health. He fell to the ground.

A Thief walked over and picked up the equipment Bitter Coffee had dropped. "Damn, this kid's gear is pretty good."

Several Warriors surrounded Lonely Fallen Leaf and launched a fierce assault, killing him on the spot.

Seeing his two brothers being killed behind him, Star Brilliance's eyes turned bloodshot. With a Whirlwind Slash, he knocked three Warriors away, leaving Ice Seal the World with no more cover.

"Damn it, Ice Seal the World, don't you dare run!"

Seeing Star Brilliance, covered in blood, charging towards him like a god of death, Ice Seal the World retreated in fear, shouting menacingly, "Brothers, he's almost out of health. Mages, bombard him with magic!"

Star Brilliance used Charge to knock aside two Thieves who tried to intercept him. Ten yards, seven yards, three yards, he was getting closer and closer to Ice Seal the World.

Ice Seal the World was a Mage. If Star Brilliance reached him, he would surely die. He turned and ran.

"Only 30% health left, kill him!"

Spells arced through the sky, flying towards Star Brilliance.

Star Brilliance took out a high-level instant recovery potion and gulped it down. He roared, approaching Ice Seal the World despite the intense magical barrage.

"Damn it, he's still not dead!"

Some Dark Winter players cursed in frustration.

Star Brilliance was now within striking distance of Ice Seal the World. He swung his greatsword down.

"Die." Star Brilliance's eyes were bloodshot.

Star Brilliance's aura was intimidating. Just as the greatsword was about to hit him, Ice Seal the World cast an Ice Shield on himself, protecting himself with a white barrier.

With a bang, Star Brilliance's sword struck Ice Seal the World, dealing over sixteen hundred damage.

The damage value startled Ice Seal the World. If he hadn't cast the Ice Shield in time, he might have been instantly killed.

Ice Seal the World turned and ran. Star Brilliance pursued him, his aura intimidating the Dark Winter players. They had never seen anyone as brave and fierce as Star Brilliance, whose fearless and death-defying demeanor shocked them.

"Save the boss!"

"Mages, don't stop casting! Warriors, intercept him!"

Under Star Brilliance's pursuit, Ice Seal the World fled in a sorry state, even rolling and crawling to avoid Star Brilliance's attacks.

The Warriors surrounded Star Brilliance, who had less than 10% of his health remaining.

He wanted to kill the enemy but lacked the strength to turn the tide.

"Ice Seal the World, grievances have debtors, debts have owners. Today, you killed two thousand of my men. I, Star Brilliance, will remember this debt and will definitely make you pay!" Star Brilliance declared heroically.

Dense magic flew into the sky, raining down on Star Brilliance.

Everyone thought Star Brilliance was doomed, but suddenly, a beam of white light descended upon him, instantly restoring his health to full.

After being hit by dozens of spells, the sparks of magic faded, and Star Brilliance was surprised to find that he was still alive. His health had been restored to almost full. What followed was even more unbelievable: more beams of white light fell upon him.

Star Brilliance was enveloped in a white light shield. Streams of energy entered his body, filling his muscles with a powerful and energetic sensation.

Star Brilliance looked down at his attribute panel, and what he saw stunned him. His Strength had increased from over sixteen hundred to over fifty-three hundred, his Defense from over fifty-one hundred to over nineteen thousand, his Attack tripled, his Agility doubled, his Evasion tripled, and his Health quintupled.

These attributes were simply insane. Star Brilliance was certain that no other Warrior could compare to him now.

"Damn, my Defense is even higher than a Shield Warrior with a shield!" Star Brilliance exclaimed.

A dozen Dark Winter Warriors surrounded Star Brilliance, hacking at him relentlessly, growing increasingly confused. They used to deal five or six hundred, even seven or eight hundred damage with each attack, but now, no matter how they attacked, they only dealt a few dozen points of damage.

He was immune to their attacks!

Then they glanced at Star Brilliance's health: seventy thousand. They instantly collapsed.

Dense magic rained down on Star Brilliance, a string of damage values floating above his head.

But Star Brilliance's health barely decreased.

Regardless, he had been rescued! Star Brilliance's cold gaze locked onto Ice Seal the World in the distance. He shouted, "Ice Seal the World, prepare to die!"

Ice Seal the World's expression changed when he saw Star Brilliance charging towards him. He turned and ran. Star Brilliance had been troublesome enough before, but with such a massive attribute boost, he was now a super freak!

Ice Seal the World never imagined that the situation would change so drastically. A wild card had appeared. An NPC had come to help Star Brilliance, and the entire Dark Winter player formation was instantly shattered.

This Paladin was none other than Lafus, the Holy Knight summoned by Nie Yan. Nie Yan hid in the shadows, directing Lafus to save Star Brilliance and cast several blessing spells on him. Lafus's blessing spells were all level ten or higher. After casting a few on Star Brilliance, the effects were naturally significant. Star Brilliance had become incredibly powerful, like a superhero.

With several charges back and forth, Holy Knight Lafus had ravaged the Dark Winter formation, leaving almost nothing intact. Holy Knight Lafus had used up 30% of his mana, but his health hadn't dropped at all.

Lafus chanted a spell, and a beam of white light fell on the remaining two hundred-odd members of Brilliant Sanctuary, restoring their health to full. After a few large-area blessing spells, the battered players of Brilliant Sanctuary were as excited as if they had taken stimulants.
