Chapter 172 Heart Demon

The two walked for a while until they reached an open space. Yu Daohen turned around and met Fan Wei's gaze.

Fan Wei met Yu Daohen's eyes for three seconds before instinctively dodging, his thighs trembling.

"You are very afraid of me, not of death, but of fear from the bottom of your heart," Yu Daohen stared at Fan Wei.

Fan Wei swallowed and mustered his courage, "We met once back then."

Yu Daohen thought back carefully and finally remembered that he had indeed met Fan Wei once. "I remember, we did meet back then."

"I guess you have a heart demon!" Yu Daohen blurted out.

Fan Wei nodded, not denying it. "That's right, I do have a heart demon, and that heart demon is you."

Yu Daohen was not surprised; he had already guessed as much. Back then, even the gods above feared his power.

"Let's settle this with one move. My residual soul is nearing its limit," Yu Daohen raised his hand and glanced at it.

"Alright, one move to decide the winner." Fan Wei stepped back, his expression extremely serious.

Fan Wei's right hand began to gather spiritual energy, and terrifying power converged towards his palm from all directions.

"Five hundred years, a full five hundred years!"

"Every time I cultivated, your image was in my mind."

Fan Wei was still gathering power, all five hundred years of fear transformed into this punch.

On the other side, Qin Muyu looked in the direction of Yu Daohen and the others, his heart filled with worry. "Such immense power, will that guy be alright?"

Hu Guizhi, however, was not worried. "Both of them are among the strongest in the human world, and they have no enmity, so they wouldn't kill each other."

"That little fellow should be Xu Feng's reincarnation, right?" Hu Guizhi asked.

With such aura at such a young age, Hu Guizhi had never seen anything like it. Even a thousand-year-old demon would have to kneel and kowtow respectfully.

Qin Muyu remained silent for several seconds before nodding. "That's right."

"Although I don't know what karma exists between you two, are you just going to guard him like this forever?" Hu Guizhi felt a little regretful for Qin Muyu.

Qin Muyu, the dignified King of the Demon Realm, had condescended to guard a human boy, and had been doing so for five hundred years.

"You've guarded him for five hundred years. No matter how much gratitude you owed him before, it should be repaid by now. As long as you return, you can be the King of the Demon Realm again," Hu Guizhi looked at Qin Muyu. If he returned, the demon race might be able to reclaim their place in the human world.

Qin Muyu shook his head, a rare smile appearing on his face. "I've guarded her for far more than five hundred years, and her kindness to me can never be fully repaid."

Hu Guizhi looked at Qin Muyu and didn't ask further. It was clear that Qin Muyu didn't want to discuss the matter, so there was no point in seeking further trouble.

On the other side, Yu Daohen's expression also turned serious as he gazed at the terrifying spiritual energy gathered in Fan Wei's palm.

"It seems I have no choice but to take this palm strike," Yu Daohen said, then muttered to himself, "Watch closely, this is the true Five Elements Art, the Heavenly Qian Palm."

As Yu Daohen finished speaking, the color returned to his eyes, and his face showed a hint of confusion as he looked at the scene before him.

Yu Daohen slowly raised his hand, and a golden gas began to condense on his palm, causing the surrounding ground to tremble.

Yu Daohen and Fan Wei met each other's eyes, both unleashing their full power in a single palm strike.

*Whoosh*

They both stepped forward simultaneously, charging directly at each other.

Before their palms could even collide, their powers had already clashed.

*Boom*

A violent explosion occurred, and all the surrounding trees were blown away by the powerful energy wave. Even Qin Muyu and Hu Guizhi on the other side were affected, raising their hands to block the flying debris and dust.

Fan Wei and Yu Daohen were both pushed back, gazing at each other's figures through the dust.

As the dust settled, both stood their ground. Fan Wei panted heavily but a smile appeared on his face. "The gap between me and him is not large, not large at all!"

Yu Daohen patted the dust off his shoulder, sighing, "I lost. Even in my prime, you could have fought me to a six-four split."

Fan Wei cupped his fist with one hand. "Thank you for the opportunity, sir."

Fan Wei was thrilled. Even though he had lost, it proved that he had the strength to fight the human world's strongest, Xu Feng.

The golden light on Yu Daohen's body began to dissipate slowly.

Fan Wei looked at Yu Daohen, realizing that this wisp of residual soul was nearing its limit. "I shall not disturb you further."

Yu Daohen nodded, and Fan Wei turned to leave.

Yu Daohen sat cross-legged on the ground. His vision suddenly went black, and when he opened his eyes again, the surrounding environment had completely changed.

Yu Daohen opened his eyes and found himself in a space that stretched as far as the eye could see. Beneath his feet was a lake, and above him, the sky was clear and vast.

"Stop looking. This is your spiritual world."

Yu Daohen looked in the direction of the voice and saw a man in white ancient robes facing him. His long hair cascaded down his shoulders, and his appearance was strikingly similar to his own, possessing the same captivating handsomeness.

"Well, I didn't expect my reincarnation to be as handsome as me," Xu Feng said directly before Yu Daohen could speak.

Yu Daohen was speechless. He had initially doubted that he was the reincarnation of Xu Feng, the human world's strongest who created the Five Elements Art, but now he had no doubts.
