Chapter 1844 You Can't Escape My Palm

The person who came out made Jin Qing quickly retreat, her face filled with terror, "Why is it you?"

"Why not me? It's been days since we last met, and I've truly missed you."

"You…"

"Brother, we…" The carriage curtain was lifted. Just as Jin Xuan was about to dismount, Jin Qing's voice interrupted him, "Don't get down."

Jin Xuan's body trembled, but he had already seen the person outside the carriage, his entire body shaking uncontrollably.

"Father has been mentioning your brother…"

"Shut up…" Jin Qing said angrily.

"What? Angry? My dear, don't be angry. Let me cherish you."

"Don't come any closer…" Jin Qing took a dagger from his embrace, gripping it tightly with both hands, his trembling finger pointing at the person opposite him.

"Jin Qing, you should think carefully. While Jiangnan isn't entirely controlled by me, Jiang Xifeng, if you hurt me, do you think you can escape the Jiang family's pursuit?" Jiang Xifeng said with a cold sneer.

Jin Qing's body trembled. He knew Jiang Xifeng wasn't exaggerating; Jiangnan was indeed under the Jiang family's control. So, was this fate? That he couldn't escape it at all?

Seeing that Jin Qing's grip on the dagger was no longer as firm, Jiang Xifeng stepped forward and said, "If you kill me, you and your brother will live in constant pursuit forever. Your brother is still so young; can you bear to let him live in fear?"

Jin Qing's gaze paused slightly, and he instinctively looked at Jin Xuan inside the carriage. The small figure was curled up, his hands tightly gripping the carriage.

Jiang Xifeng approached Jin Xuan and continued, "As long as you return with me, I can protect your brother from Father's knowledge. I know you care for your brother."

"Why?" Jin Qing looked up at Jiang Xifeng and asked.

Jiang Xifeng's smile turned somewhat ferocious, "There's no why. Jin Qing, I've raised you for so long precisely for this day to arrive. You can't escape my grasp."

"Will you let my brother go?" Jin Qing suddenly asked Jiang Xifeng.

Jiang Xifeng nodded, "Yes, as long as you come back with me."

Jin Qing slowly lowered his eyes, seemingly making his final struggle.

"Brother." Jin Xuan, sitting in the carriage, stared intently at Jin Qing.

"Can I speak a few words with my brother?" Jin Qing asked.

Jiang Xifeng nodded, as he wasn't afraid of Jin Qing trying to escape.

Everyone here was his man; escaping wouldn't be an easy feat.

"Brother." Seeing Jin Qing, Jin Xuan immediately threw himself into his arms, trembling all over, "Brother, I'm scared."

Jin Qing patted his back and said, "Jin Xuan, don't be afraid. Brother is here. Brother will protect you."

"Brother, can we leave here?" Jin Xuan looked up and asked Jin Qing.

Jin Qing paused slightly, looking at Jin Xuan seriously and saying, "Jin Xuan, after we leave, you go find your fairy sister."

"Brother, what about you? Are you going to find Sister with me?" Jin Xuan asked.

Jin Qing shook his head and said, "Jin Xuan, you go first. Brother will follow shortly."

"Your Highness, isn't that carriage ahead the one Jin Qing and the others are traveling in?" Following where Feng Wu pointed, Xue Xingyue indeed saw a carriage approaching them.

"Your Highness, the carriage seems to have lost control," Feng Wu suddenly said.

"Feng Jiu," Xue Xingyue called out softly.

Feng Jiu leaped up and landed on the carriage, quickly subduing the horses.

The carriage stopped, and Feng Jiu lifted the curtain. Inside, he saw a small huddled figure.

"Jin Xuan…" Xue Xingyue said.

When Jin Xuan saw Xue Xingyue, he threw himself into her arms and burst into tears.

Xue Xingyue didn't see Jin Qing and asked, "Jin Xuan, where is your brother?"

Jin Xuan, unable to stop crying, still managed to say, "Fairy sister, please save my brother quickly. Brother has been taken by the Jiang family."

Xue Xingyue was startled by this. She gently patted Jin Xuan's head and said, "Don't be afraid. Sister will bring your brother back safely."

Jin Xuan looked up with tear-filled eyes. He knew it was wrong to trust someone so easily. Yet, he still trusted the person in front of him because her gaze was so bright, capable of illuminating the path ahead.

"Feng Wu, take Jin Xuan back first. Don't come back for now; I'm afraid the Jiang family will still be looking for him," Xue Xingyue said.

Feng Wu nodded, "Yes."

Jin Xuan looked at Xue Xingyue and asked, "Sister, will Brother come back safely?"

"He definitely will," Xue Xingyue said, word by word, looking at Jin Xuan.

"Feng Jiu, we're going back to the Jiang family." Xue Xingyue mounted her horse and headed towards the Jiang family's direction.

Feng Jiu followed closely behind.

Upon returning to the Jiang family, Xue Xingyue went straight to Jiang Xifeng's courtyard. Perhaps it was because she had frightened Jiang Xifeng before, but his courtyard was filled with many people, all appearing to be quite skilled.

One person stepped forward to block Xue Xingyue, saying, "Miss, you cannot…"

However, before he could finish, Feng Jiu kicked him aside, "What right do you have to order about His Highness?"

The remaining people were shocked.

They had all heard that Princess Mingzhu resided in the Jiang family, but few had seen her in person.

Now that they saw her true appearance, these people could only feel that she was indeed a heavenly talent. The noble and aloof aura she exuded was something no one else could imitate.

"Your subordinate greets the Princess. Your subordinate's eyes are poor and did not recognize the Princess's arrival. We beg the Princess's forgiveness!" A large group of people knelt in the courtyard.

Xue Xingyue looked up and saw that Jiang Xifeng was indeed generous. There were at least thirty people here, all to protect him alone?

What a luxury. Xue Xingyue had no intention of forcing her way in, and coldly said, "Go tell your master that this Princess wishes to see him."

The man quickly said, "Your Highness, please wait a moment. This subordinate will go and inform him."

"Your Highness, why not go in directly? These people are not worth bothering with," Feng Jiu said.

It wasn't that Feng Jiu was exaggerating; he truly possessed such capability.

"Courtesy before force," Xue Xingyue said faintly.

Soon, the man came out and stood before Xue Xingyue, saying, "Your Highness, the First Master is feeling unwell and fears passing on any illness to Your Highness. In a few days, the First Master will personally apologize to Your Highness."

"An apology is not necessary. This Princess must see him today."

Xue Xingyue looked at the man coldly. Her once clear and beautiful face was now frosty, and her noble and aloof demeanor made people dare not approach, let alone offend.

"Your Highness, please do not make it difficult for this subordinate," the man said with a troubled expression.

"Since that is the case, this Princess will have to force her way in. Feng Jiu, break through."

As Xue Xingyue's voice fell, Feng Jiu eagerly stepped forward, his hands itching for a fight. The others had already cleared a path.

Feng Jiu was slightly confused. He had wanted to showcase his skills, but why was he not given the opportunity?
