There were dragons and wyverns falling from the sky all around Azrael and Jason could almost feel the fear from the Radagan soldiers when they saw the giant skeletal lich tearing through their forces so easily!

’Take it easy, Azrael. You need to preserve mana and limit your attacks so the Generals don’t come towards you. I’ll be sending you reinforcements soon, so relax and let the other subordinates start their battles and draw the Generals out before you get serious.’

Jason gave Azrael his orders, and Azrael acknowledged it as he stopped using his lightning and began to use another skill that he had mastered during his time as a magic researcher in T’laina. The Lich raised his staff into the air, and a massive gale wind suddenly blew out from the staff and began to twist itself through the air like a typhoon! The dragons that had been trying to get close to Azrael were suddenly overwhelmed by the sheer strength of the wind, and it didn’t take long before they were being thrown in every direction by the intense tornado! This skill was easier for Azrael to maintain because he only needed to begin the spell and allow nature to handle its maintenance, so Azrael continued using the winds to keep the dragons away from him. But Jason sweatdropped when he saw the heavy tornado that was forming in the sky. Didn’t he just tell this idiot to stay lowkey? If the Generals saw a fucking tornado rising from the center of the city, there was no way they wouldn’t come to investigate!

Jason shook his head and turned his attention towards his other subordinates who were heading outwards with the superhumans. One of the ten teams had already reached a town and Jason saw that it was the team with Gina. Gina was riding on the back of the Skyking, but there were three dragons and various Falcons following behind her as they soared over a large town. People were moving along the streets and markets in the town, and they all turned up in shock when they saw the giant dragons coming towards them from a distance! For a moment, the civilians thought that the dragons were from the Radagan army, and many of them quickly began trying to head into their houses so that they wouldn’t meet the soldiers! But there were some of them who just stood and watched to see what was going on.

Gina looked around to try to find a good place to start, and she called out when she spotted a large region on the western part of the town that didn’t have any people there! Gina commanded her subordinates to head in that direction! The dragons and falcons swerved towards the empty region, and once they were close to it, Gina commanded the dragons to unleash their flames!

’Use Dragonfire!’

ROARRR!

BOOM!!

The dragons released their dragonfire at the same time, and they rained destruction down on the town! The dragonborn that had been standing around to watch were all shocked when they saw the dragons releasing fire on their town! They immediately realized that the dragons were not on their side, and they quickly grabbed anything important and bolted!

"Run, the dragons have gone mad!"

"The Sovereign wants to end us all!"

"Move into the forest! Leave the town and move into the forest!"

"Run!"

"Mummy! Mummy!"

"Where’s my baby!"

The civilians began to charge out from the town in a massive evacuation to try and escape the dragons, and many people were thrown about and shoved to the ground in the stampede! The dragonborn were already afraid of the army after the coup that they went through, so they didn’t even think of staying around to try to figure out whether the dragons were from the army or not! The only thing on their mind was to get as far away from the dragons as possible! The flames from the dragons scorched through everything in their path, and as Gina saw the people retreating, she told the dragons to slowly move their attacks towards the central area of the town to make sure that everyone had enough time to escape.

This battle was going to be between the army and Jason’s Legion, and Jason had told the superhumans that they should try their best to reduce the number of civilian casualties if they could. So by doing this, Gina was ensuring that the civilians wouldn’t be caught up in the fight when the General arrived! But before the General could even come around, Gina saw five figures appearing on the horizon! They were all on the backs of dragons, and they were heading straight for the town very quickly! Gina narrowed her eyes once they were close enough, and she was surprised when she didn’t see them wearing any military uniforms. They were dressed as regular civilians, but they still had dragons? Gina was confused for a few seconds, but she suddenly recalled what Jason had said earlier.

’The army is divided into three main parts. The Royal Army and the Imperial Guards both serve the king directly, and they wear military uniforms, but the third group, the rogues, are different. They don’t wear any uniforms, so they look just like civilians, but they have dragon companions, and they will attack you if they think that you’re threatening the towns. You don’t need to worry about the rogues much since they don’t have any official training, but their dragons are dangerous, so take care of them first.’

Gina immediately told the Iron-Bladed Falcons to charge forward, and all of them dashed towards the five dragons like missiles! Gina put her hand out and created more than a hundred wind-arrows before she fired them at the dragon riders with perfect accuracy! The rogues immediately tried to steer their dragons out of the way, but their reflexes were slow since they didn’t have much formal training, and this allowed some of the arrows to hit them straight on! The dragon riders lost their concentration from that attack, and the falcons took advantage of the loss in concentration and launched multiple bladed feathers towards the dragons! The dragons let out loud roars as they began unleashing dragonfire on the falcons and Gina commanded the dragons from Jason’s Legion to continue their attack before telling the Skyking to move closer so that she could help out!

Jason watched Gina’s fight for a few minutes, and he could tell that the rogues weren’t going to be much of a challenge for Gina. It was obvious that they didn’t see much combat, so Gina could easily fly circles around them and take them out one by one.

Jason hummed when he saw the notification about his title activation and he looked down at his hand as he felt an intense surge of power surging through his body as his stats temporarily increased. Jason smiled at the boost, but he knew that this would still not be enough to take on the Sovereign. He needed more power. Jason used the [Eye of the King] to look around at the other battles happening around the Radagan towns. Luthor and the dragons were going absolutely insane in a town a few miles west of Jason. The dragons were using their dragonbreath to take out hundreds of buildings at the same time, and Luthor was using his explosions to disorient and take out the rogues and Imperial Guards that had come his way! A few miles south of where Luthor was fighting, Rufus was also using his abilities to fend off various rogues and Imperial Guards in a fishing town that was close to a large lake. Many of the town’s people had taken to the boats, and they were currently abandoning their homes and crossing over the lake to avoid being caught in the middle of the battle. Jason noticed that even though Rufus was a dragon now, his dragonbreath was not as strong as the other dragons, and Jason could only guess that Rufus’ rank wasn’t high enough to match the dragon’s power!

The other towns were also going through the same things as the superhumans tried their best to fight against the rogues or the Imperial Guards that had been stationed close to the town. But there were still no signs of any member of the Royal Army, and Jason decided that it was time to turn the tables.
