Chapter 309: Chapter 307: Please Return My Son to Me
"So cruel?"
Wan Yu went over and opened Suoya’s hospital gown to see the wound underneath, frowning slightly.
It really was right over her heart.
Bloody and gruesome, it looked terrifying.
Rage, so intense it felt almost tangible, erupted from Jian Sirun. She clenched her fists tighter. "I’ve already asked Fifth Brother to come back. It’s time for him to step forward."
Everyone from the Jian Family could die, but Little Sister absolutely couldn’t suffer the slightest grievance.
Even if it meant sacrificing the entire Jian Family, justice must be sought for Little Sister!
「That night.」
Hilda’s people searched the entire farm but found no trace or clue.
Even the surrounding surveillance cameras had been hacked.
The other party clearly didn’t want to leave any trace.
Inside the hospital, Wan Yu paced back and forth, on the verge of exploding with anxiety. "Where on earth is my godson! What the hell does Si Yuhuan want? I’m going to fight him to the death!"
No sooner had she spoken than someone reported from outside.
"Boss, Si Yuhuan actually arrived at Saint Seymour with only an assistant!"
Upon hearing this, Wan Yu became enraged. "Good! After committing such an evil deed, he still dares to blatantly provoke us! Does he really think we’re all dead?"
She immediately rushed with her people to the hotel where Si Yuhuan was staying.
Jian Sirun didn’t stop her.
Si Yuhuan, this time, no one can save you!
Wan Yu charged into the hotel with a formidable group of black-clad bodyguards, causing everyone to scatter in alarm.
She had no time for these people and headed straight for Si Yuhuan’s room.
Upon reaching the door, she rolled up her sleeves and kicked the door open.
"Si Yuhuan, get the hell out here!"
「Meanwhile.」
Jian Xi was feeling a bit better and wanted to see her child, but the nurse firmly stopped her.
"Miss Jian, your body hasn’t fully recovered yet. It’s better not to see the baby for now."
"Why can’t I?"
At first, Jian Xi thought everyone was looking out for her best interests, but as time passed, she increasingly felt that something was wrong.
She had seen her daughter, but what about her son?
"Tell me the truth, did something happen to my son?"
Thinking of a certain possibility, Jian Xi immediately stood up from her wheelchair and, ignoring the nurse’s attempts to stop her, ran outside.
The nurse shouted, "Stop Miss Jian, quickly!"
Bodyguards immediately stepped forward to block Jian Xi. "Miss Jian, please don’t make this difficult for us!"
"Get out of my way!" Jian Xi commanded with an intimidating aura.
Despite wearing a hospital gown and her pretty face looking somewhat pale, her commanding presence, sharp and imposing, could not be concealed. The bodyguards unconsciously lowered their heads, intimidated by her powerful aura.
"Miss Jian..."
Jian Xi shook them off. "I’d like to see who dares touch me."
She slapped away the bodyguards’ hands and headed straight for the neonatal intensive care unit.
When she saw her daughter sleeping peacefully inside, sucking on her fingers, and the other side of the crib completely empty, she widened her eyes in disbelief. "Where is the child?"
The attending physician hurried over, sweating profusely. "Miss Jian, I’m sorry. We didn’t expect your maid to actually steal the child. The young master... he... Suoya lost him."
Lost!
The word struck her like a thunderbolt from a clear sky, crashing down heavily on Jian Xi.
She staggered, leaning against the wall for support, and forcefully suppressed the burning anger in her heart. Gritting her teeth, she asked, "Where is Suoya?"
"She was seriously injured, nearly died, and is in the intensive care unit fighting for her life."
Jian Xi rushed over.
"Suoya! Where is my son?"
She entered the room and saw a nurse changing Suoya’s dressing. A deep, bone-visible knife wound was apparent on Suoya’s chest.
Suoya immediately pushed the nurse away and knelt on the ground. "Miss Jian, I have failed you. Si Yuhuan took the child."
Jian Xi was so furious she felt she could crush her own bones, her entire body trembling with rage.
Si Yuhuan!
You and I are irreconcilable!
Before Wan Yu could rush into the hotel, a fleeting shadow moved past her, even faster.
Jian Xi entered and headed straight for the bedroom.
Si Yuhuan had just changed into a black shirt. His tall, lean, and slender back was enough to make a multitude of women swoon. An innate nobility emanated from him, lending an extra touch of opulence to the entire room.
Hearing the noise, he had just turned around when a fierce slap landed squarely on his face.
"Si Yuhuan, give me back my son!"
Jian Xi lunged at him like a madwoman, wishing she could bite Si Yuhuan to death. Her attacks had no technique; she fought with sheer desperation.
Si Yuhuan gripped her wrists tightly. He was dazed from the assault, his cold eyes wide, anger swirling around him. "What nonsense are you spouting?"
When they met again, he hadn’t expected Jian Xi to be in such a state.
Dressed in a hospital gown, looking like a madwoman, her eyes were filled with profound sorrow.
"What on earth happened?"
Wan Yu also rushed forward. "You still have the nerve to ask what happened? Give me back my godson! Kidnapping a child—what kind of skill is that? If you want to deal with us, come at us head-on! Do you think we’re afraid of you?"
The two women frantically pulled, bit, scratched, and pinched. Si Yuhuan couldn’t bring himself to hit them, and soon he was covered in scrapes and bruises.
"Enough!"
Seething with fury, Si Yuhuan grabbed each woman with one hand.
BANG!
Jian Sirun landed a fierce kick squarely on his abdomen.
Aggravating an old injury, Si Yuhuan stumbled back several steps, a trickle of blood escaping the corner of his mouth.
He barely managed to stay upright by holding onto the headboard. Lifting his head, sweat-matted strands of hair stuck to his handsome face.
The people opposite him looked as if they wanted to eat him alive. Did they really think he had no temper and was easy to bully?
His pride as an overbearing CEO wouldn’t tolerate such humiliation!
"Yan Qing!"
At his command, the bodyguards who had been stationed nearby appeared.
The atmosphere instantly became charged.
In the frozen scene, no one dared to even breathe too loudly.
Si Yuhuan clutched his abdomen, fury simmering in his eyes. "Jian Sirun, are you going mad with them too?"
"Si Yuhuan, you’ve gone too far! You deserve to die!" Jian Sirun advanced towards Si Yuhuan step by step. "Hand over the child, or the Jian Family will pursue you to the death."
What child?
Si Yuhuan’s gaze suddenly fell upon Jian Xi’s now-flat stomach.
He had been an idiot!
To think he had believed she had actually just gotten fat!
Now, she stood there, slender and graceful. Even in the loose hospital gown, her perfect curves were undeniable. Only her face, pale as paper, evoked a pang of pity.
"I just arrived in Saint Seymour. What child are you asking me to hand over?"
Si Yuhuan was furious.
"Stop pretending, Si Yuhuan!" Wan Yu pointed at him, cursing vehemently. "You had Xixi’s nanny trick her and deliver the child into your hands! What are you trying to do? Use the child to threaten Xixi and the Jian Family?"
Jian Xi’s tears fell like rain; she had practically dissolved into tears.
It had been a long time since Si Yuhuan had seen her cry so heartbreakingly.
Jian Xi trembled all over, large tears streaming down her face. Her anguish was so profound she was on the verge of kneeling and begging. "Can we please keep our adult affairs separate from the children? Please, let my son go, won’t you? He was premature, just born! Without me, he’ll die!"
"Si Yuhuan, I loved you once. It was my mistake! I should never have gotten involved with you!"
Jian Xi let out a low cry, collapsing to her knees on the floor, sobbing helplessly.
"Please, I’m begging you, give my son back to me! I promise you’ll never see me again. If you want Salsi, I won’t fight you for it. You want Luo You? I’ll give him back to you. Whatever you want, I’ll agree to anything! I only beg you to return my son to me, please!"
