Chapter 177: Chapter 177: Emergency Meeting Part I
Victoria was fully prepared for today’s emergency meeting. This time, she chose a brightly colored outfit to demonstrate her deserving position as D&C Group’s leader. This was all thanks to information received from her friend Ansel that the board of commissioners had called a sudden emergency meeting due to the majority of employees petitioning to remove Fransisca from her position.
She kept her makeup understated to demonstrate her wisdom and humility to everyone. Now all the evidence has been turned over to the police. It’s now a matter of time before they arrest Gianna.

Hearing the sound of her cell phone vibrating on the table, she ran quickly to get her cell phone and then answered the call from her husband while turning on the video call mode.
"Wow, you look so special today, Tory!"
Victoria smiled shyly, holding her warm cheek. "It’s rare for you to say I’m so special. You usually say I’m pretty or cute."
"Because today you are very special to face all your enemies."
"Sorry, I forbid you to follow me today."
"It’s okay. If I kept following you, you wouldn’t be able to shine like you do now. I let you go on purpose so you wouldn’t have to rely on me all the time. If you run into a big problem and I can’t be with you, who will help you?"
"Now I won’t be afraid of anyone anymore. I’ll do everything according to what I’ve learned from you all this time."
"I can only support you silently. What’s certain is that I will give you the greatest gift."
Victoria rolled her eyes. "I’m tired of playing secret games with you."
"How about you go now?"
"I still want to talk to you. Actually, I want to have breakfast with you. It’s so annoying that I keep having breakfast alone."
"I also feel lonely if I don’t have breakfast with you. If I were with you now, I could give you a love supplement."

Victoria entered the D&C Group building unaccompanied. She didn’t want to involve Matthias either, as she wanted to resolve her personal issues herself. Now she just needed to mentally prepare herself to face everyone who had belittled her before.
Every time she met the employees, they were all very supportive of his ascension to the company leadership position. She was actually quite embarrassed by the support they gave her, as they usually seemed to ignore her.
Upon reaching the executive floor, Victoria smiled confidently as she entered the meeting room. The entire board of commissioners stared at her in astonishment, as if they hadn’t expected Victoria to know the agenda for today’s meeting.
Victoria folded her arms. "Can I not attend the meeting today?"
"Aren’t you involved in company affairs?" one of the board members replied.
"But, won’t you regret kicking me out after I talked to you about something important?"
"What is the most important thing?"
Victoria smiled sarcastically as she pulled out a leather folder and revealed the contents of the will. "The original will, drafted by my father, was actually manipulated by Gianna all along."
"What?"
Gianna immediately slammed her fist on the table. "What are you doing?!"
"I’m stating the truth: I deserve the position of leader of D&C Group." Her gaze fell on Fransisca, who still looked relaxed. "Actually, I’ve been hearing a lot of complaints from the employees lately. They don’t agree with the latest company regulations Fransisca has created."
"How dare you talk to my daughter like that!"
"Isn’t it more likely that you were the one who was so impudent with me? Fransisca is better than you. Now I have proof that you manipulated my father’s will and planned to kill him."
Everyone in the room was in a frenzy at Victoria’s words. Victoria now played a copy of the audio recording on her phone. The recording clearly showed that Gianna had indeed planned to kill the real company leader and had ordered Robert to forge the will.
The brief recording had already caused a commotion in the meeting room. Gianna was starting to lose her patience and got up from her chair.
"Are you crazy? How dare you manipulate the recording using my voice!"
"This voice recording is indeed authentic. I obtained this evidence from Matthias. Furthermore, I heard that Mr. Robert has already turned himself in at the police station."
"Victoria, you better stop all this before I get even crueler to you!"
Victoria folded her arms. "Your crimes don’t end there!" She looked confidently at all the board members. "I know you’re still in shock from this shocking news. But I want to tell you the real reason why D&C Group is consistently incurring losses."
"It’s all because the operational costs are too high!"
"No! But you kept blackmailing T&H Group and then you hid all the funds you got from them in overseas shell companies!"
The atmosphere in the meeting room grew tense. Victoria smiled sarcastically as she revealed all the financial reports Gianna had been hiding, including evidence of transfers to mysterious overseas accounts.
"As you can see, it’s clear that our company is suffering losses due to someone’s greed. You should have thought this through more carefully. Who is more worthy of leading D&C Group?"
Fransisca clenched her fists tightly as she glared at her stepsister. "Are you satisfied with bullying my mother like this?"
"Shouldn’t you be the one thinking more wisely, Fransisca? Will simply firing employees really help the company recover its economic condition?" Victoria laughed dismissively. "You can’t even be a good leader. You’re just torturing them all."
"How dare you humiliate my daughter!"
"You are completely out of place. A criminal should not be allowed to set foot in this prestigious building." Victoria glanced at the luxury watch on her left wrist. "The police will be arriving at this office soon."
"But, do you think everything will end well after you imprison me?" Gianna shoved Victoria roughly on the shoulder. "You’re just an ungrateful child who always neglects your own family. Especially since you got pregnant out of wedlock."
