Bai Ye really wanted to say to the Warrior: "What you said makes so much sense, I cannot refute it!"
Of course, he wasn't being sarcastic!
Bai Ye was not an amateur, after all, he had the experience from his previous life. Although Bai Ye himself hadn't encountered such a situation in the pyramid ruins, he couldn't rule out the possibility that the Warrior's deductions were indeed plausible.
Just then, the Warrior glanced down at the equipment on the ground, then quickly looked up again.
Bai Ye glanced at the Warrior and said, "It seems we've cleared this matter up?"
The Warrior said, "I've told you everything I know. This is all the information I currently have."
"Mm, I believe you," Bai Ye said. "However, we've finished our chat, and your companion still hasn't arrived. What do you think we should do?"
The Warrior paused, then shook his head, "I don't understand what you mean."
Bai Ye looked at the equipment on the ground and said, "Didn't you call for backup? Waiting for those Predators from before to come and rescue you."
The Warrior said, "There's no such thing. I'm talking to you sincerely and genuinely want to cooperate. You're different from the others; you're stronger than them. I don't have to worry about you being infested by a facehugger, so there's no need to kill you. On the contrary, if you're willing to help, this matter will become much simpler. But if you don't trust me, there's nothing I can do."
"Talking so much nonsense..." Bai Ye said, "Do you dare say you haven't established communication with other Predators?"
The Warrior looked up and said, "No, I swear!"
Oaths were worthless. It would be idiotic to answer 'yes' at this point.
"It's best if you haven't," Bai Ye shrugged. "Otherwise, something big is going to happen."
The Warrior froze and asked, "What?"
Bai Ye said, "It takes about five minutes to walk from the mess hall to our location, and our conversation has already lasted over fifteen minutes. What do you think is the reason your companions haven't arrived yet?"
The Warrior fell silent, his eyes behind the mask filled with deep terror.
Even so, the Warrior gritted his teeth and said, "I really haven't..."
"Whether you have or not is none of my concern," Bai Ye interrupted directly. "Now that I've said this much, aren't you going to rush back and check?"
The Warrior was stunned again, but quickly understood that Bai Ye had no intention of attacking him further. He immediately nodded in acknowledgment, picked up the equipment on the ground, put it on quickly, and began to sprint back.
Bai Ye curled his lips. After the Warrior disappeared at the end of the corridor, he didn't leave. Instead, he followed him directly.
The Warrior ran through the corridor and entered the mess hall, where he was immediately shocked.
The bodies that were previously piled up were now scattered again, and many of them showed signs of being gnawed. Most importantly, there were six more Predator corpses inside the mess hall, along with about a dozen Xenomorph corpses.
It was clear that after the Warrior and Bai Ye left, a battle had broken out in the mess hall, with a large number of Xenomorphs attacking.
The Warrior quickly ran to the bodies of the Predators and, in a language Bai Ye couldn't understand, kept calling out to his companions, but it was useless because he received no response.
"It's no use!" Bai Ye's voice echoed eerily. "They're clearly dead."
The Warrior sprang up, looked at Bai Ye, and said, "You knew they were going to be attacked, didn't you?"
Bai Ye nodded. "Yes!"
The Warrior's voice was clearly filled with anger. "Why?"
Bai Ye sneered, "Almost all aggressive carnivorous creatures are attracted by the smell of blood. You were slaughtering in the mess hall, and the smell of blood was everywhere. You think the Xenomorphs wouldn't come? You're a Predator, you should know a lot about Xenomorphs, yet you didn't think of this. Who can you blame?"
The Warrior's eye twitched. "You should have warned me."
"Do I have that obligation?" Bai Ye asked. "Killing and being killed are both natural occurrences on the world battlefield. You're allowed to slaughter, but you're not allowed to be slaughtered?"
Bai Ye strode towards the Warrior.
"Most importantly," Bai Ye grinned, "we can cooperate now."
The Warrior gritted his teeth. "This is your real intention, isn't it? If our people weren't scattered, you wouldn't have had a chance to kill Predators!"
Bai Ye nodded. "You can think of it that way. So, cooperation? Or no cooperation?"
The Warrior said, "Do you think I would... you scoundrel..."
*Pfft!*
Before the Warrior could finish speaking, Bai Ye suddenly reached out and stabbed the Warrior in the waist with the Frost Sword.
Feeling intense pain, the Warrior tried to retreat, but Bai Ye clearly had no intention of letting him go. He pressed forward relentlessly, forcing the Warrior to the wall, and then...
*Pfft!*
Bai Ye exerted more force. The Frost Sword sank in another three inches, with more than half of its length embedded in the Warrior's body.
"Ah!"
The Warrior roared in anger and raised his fist to smash Bai Ye's head. But just as his fist was about to land, Bai Ye made a sudden move.
Dragon Claw Hand!
Bai Ye's five fingers formed a claw, and he grabbed the Warrior's fist, twisting it backward with force.
*Crack!*
A bone-cracking sound echoed from the Warrior's wrist as Bai Ye forcefully broke it.
The intense pain caused the Warrior to roar continuously. Then, the shoulder cannon on the Warrior's shoulder fired, emitting an energy halo.
Bai Ye reacted extremely quickly. The moment the shoulder cannon fired, he tilted his head to the side. Immediately, a beam of energy shot past Bai Ye's head and smashed into the wall behind him with a loud boom.
"I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it!" Bai Ye looked up at the Warrior and said, "If you don't cooperate, you're useless. If you're useless, you naturally deserve to die!"
The Warrior gritted his teeth. "How do you want to cooperate?"
"Tsk tsk tsk..." Bai Ye shook his head. "There's only one chance, so people will learn to cherish it. I'm sorry, you've missed your chance!"
*Pfft!*
Bai Ye suddenly pulled out the Frost Sword and then swung it forward forcefully.
A silver sword light flashed, passing across the Warrior's neck.
Instantly, a large amount of blood sprayed out, making a "shasha" sound and splashing all over Bai Ye's face.
Bai Ye took a few steps back, wiped the blood from his face, and looked at the Warrior struggling on the ground, saying, "Remember to cherish opportunities in your next life!"
"You have killed a participant (Particle Energy Civilization World)."
"Due to the first successful kill of a participant in the Particle Energy Civilization World, you have received a reward: Biological Scanning and Calculation System x1."
"You have obtained five Divine Stone Shards."
As the Warrior died, Bai Ye's eyes lit up as he looked at the light screen before him.
Particle Energy Civilization World?
Bai Ye had never heard of this world before. Shouldn't Predators be classified under technological worlds?
