With a twist of his waist, Gemmas sprang from the ground and swung his knight's sword towards Bai Ye.

The Frost Condensing Sword transformed into a beam of light and swiftly flew to Bai Ye's front, blocking Gemmas's knight's sword. The two swords clashed, emitting a crisp ringing sound.
Gemmas gritted his teeth and said, "How many of our good deeds have you ruined? Death Amusement Park, the Twelve Great Battles, and the Demon King plan in the Great Jura Forest. So, don't you deserve to die!"
As Gemmas roared, he abruptly raised his sword and flicked it, sending the Frost Condensing Sword flying. He then raised his sword again and slashed at Bai Ye.
"He thinks I can't kill you, so I'll kill him to show him!" Gemmas growled, "Anyone who obstructs us must die!"
Gemmas was clearly filled with deep resentment. However, this resentment was directed less at Bai Ye and more at Li Jiayi.
In Gemmas's view, Li Jiayi rejecting his proposal to find a way to kill Bai Ye was looking down on him, believing he was incapable of killing Bai Ye. Giving up the opportunity to enter the City of Sin because of Bai Ye was an even greater insult.
Therefore, he would kill Bai Ye to show Li Jiayi.
He would prove he was right by eliminating Bai Ye!
