Chapter 1670: Chapter 1670: Got It

The three of them didn’t rent bikes like others, instead, they slowly walked along the river, chatting about things while admiring the scenery.

When they set out, Luo Ziling was a bit anxious, worried about any unexpected incidents, but after walking for a while, his vigilance gradually faded.

If it weren’t for casually spotting Lin and Ye Xiaoli not far behind, Luo Ziling would have forgotten that something unpleasant might happen tonight.

When Lin and Ye Xiaoli quickly approached them, Luo Ziling was startled, realizing something might be going on.

“Something’s happening,” Lin whispered as he quickly approached them, alerting them, and immediately shielded Luo Yuqing, using his body for protection.

Ye Xiaoli did the same, shielding Yang Qingyin before quickly heading toward a nearby high embankment.

Luo Ziling didn’t lag behind, quickly following them.

After the five people arrived at a high embankment, Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing hid underneath it, with Luo Ziling guarding them, while Lin and Ye Xiaoli stood watch above. After a short while, other figures appeared, including Yang Xiaodong and Wang Zhenjun, surrounding them.

They didn’t approach but guarded about two hundred meters from the hiding spot of Luo Ziling, Yang Qingyin, and Luo Yuqing.

This way, within a few hundred meters of the hiding place, nothing would happen.

“Sigh, my good mood was ruined by them,” Luo Ziling said helplessly sitting beside Yang Qingyin, “What a beautiful night.”

“Your rhythm of expressing emotions got disrupted,” Yang Qingyin, not too scared, joked with Luo Ziling, “Luckily, the situation only arose after you finished your sigh, or it would be more of a spoiler.”

“No fun,” Luo Ziling leaned on Yang Qingyin’s shoulder, said gloomily, “Will we ever be able to have fun again?”

“Next time, go out after putting on good makeup,” Yang Qingyin smiled, “Otherwise, troublesome things really can’t be avoided.”

“That’s all we can do,” Luo Yuqing said gloomily, “Taking photos like this is really unpleasant.”

Luo Ziling immediately gave a suggestion, “Armor with a mask, sunglasses, and a hat, if you want to take a photo, just take them off.”

As the three of them were chatting idly, Yang Xiaodong hurriedly ran to Luo Ziling, whispering a report, “We’ve already caught a few people, crisis resolved.”

“Who are they?” Luo Ziling asked with a frown.

“Japanese people,” Yang Xiaodong answered positively, “For the specific situation, we need to interrogate them first.”

“Alright, you go with your tasks, we’ll continue our fun.”

Yang Xiaodong paused. He expected Luo Ziling to say they should return to the hotel immediately to avoid more trouble, but surprisingly, this guy still wanted to stay out. He thought about persuading Luo Ziling to take Luo Yuqing and Yang Qingyin back, but after reconsidering, he didn’t say anything.

“Alright, I’ll go instruct them,” Yang Xiaodong said and quickly ran off.

Luo Ziling informed Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing that they were basically safe but needed to confirm further. Anyway, since they were already out, they should play around more as they hadn’t taken enough photos for their social media.

Seeing Luo Ziling looking somewhat nonchalant, Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing also knew the situation wasn’t that critical and felt relieved. However, they couldn’t regain the initial relaxation and freedom, the beautiful feeling was ruined, impossible to retrieve instantly.

Hence, Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing both suggested returning to rest early, claiming they were a bit tired.

Luo Ziling understood they weren’t really tired but had lost the mood for fun, so he didn’t force them and agreed to head back to the hotel now.

So, the group slowly walked back to the parking place, planning to return to the hotel.

As they prepared to get in the car, Wang Zhenjun approached Luo Ziling and asked, “Master, they refuse to confess.”

“Does that mean I have to personally intervene?”

Wang Zhenjun grinned without saying anything.

Luo Ziling then instructed Lin and Ye Xiaoli, along with the other guards, to escort Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing back to the hotel.

After arranging most of the security for Yang Qingyin and Luo Yuqing, Luo Ziling and Wang Zhenjun drove off alone.

Wang Zhenjun maneuvered the car along some roads, confirming there was no one tailing them, before heading to the place where the captured persons were held.

The location for detaining the captives was in a rather rundown neighborhood not far from the Han River.

Despite Hanseong being a very modern metropolis, like any city, it has its unsavory sides.

Every city has dirty, messy corners, these places are often the more chaotic areas.

Bringing detainees to such locations would definitely be the best choice.

When Wang Zhenjun drove the car to the vicinity of the rundown neighborhood, someone came to meet them at the intersection.

With the guidance of the greeter, the car quickly arrived in front of a dimly lit, rundown building.

After parking the car there, Luo Ziling and Wang Zhenjun followed several unfamiliar-looking people, traversing the dimly lit building, then crossing two more buildings, and finally seeing another group of greeters.

He originally thought he could see Phoenix here, but unexpectedly, none of the people here were familiar. These individuals were neither his subordinates nor Dragon Rise people he knew, he looked at Wang Zhenjun quizzically, but Wang Zhenjun did not explain.

Those people just nodded to greet Luo Ziling upon seeing him.

Up on the second floor, Luo Ziling finally saw someone he recognized, it was Shanque.

Yet, Shanque just nodded lightly at him without any expression.

Inside the room, two men with faces similar to Huaxia people were tied up, their faces were sullen and expressionless staring ahead, Luo Ziling entered, as if he did not see them.

“They are unwilling to confess,” Shanque softly remarked, saying nothing more.

Luo Ziling looked surprised at Shanque, who usually talked a lot, quite unexpected how she suddenly became so silent.

But he did not ask more, pulling out a packet from his pocket, took out a silver needle from it, then walked to one of the men in black, pulled open his clothes, and directly jabbed the needle into his waist. After a few manipulations, he left the needle there, then moved to the other person, repeating the process.

When the needle was pierced in, the men in black started to react, but initially, they tried hard to resist, however, merely ten seconds later, as sweat beads fell from their foreheads, they couldn’t hold on anymore, their faces completely changed, collapsed on the ground.

Yet, Luo Ziling did not immediately show anything, after waiting around half a minute, he jabbed another acupuncture point, when the two men in black were completely losing control emotionally, he softly said, “You can ask now.”

After saying that, he stepped back two paces, found a chair to sit down, waiting to see the good show.
