Chapter 692: Extinction

Chapter 692: Extinction

"Welcome to the Pinnacle Realm," declared, his voice carrying a quiet finality. "The Planetary Realm was forged with trees, sands, and stones resilient enough to endure the dying breath of a star, each fragment infused with the might of a Planetary level being. Yet even that pales before what stands here. The Pinnacle Realm rises above all realms I have ever created, crafted solely to contain the battles of entities like myself... battles so vast they could unmake galaxies."

Anthony’s mind trembled beneath the weight of this revelation as his gaze swept across the expanse of the Pinnacle Realm. It appeared deceptively familiar, trees swaying gently, mountains piercing the sky, forests sprawling endlessly, oceans and rivers glimmering in the distance. And yet Klaus claimed these seemingly ordinary elements could endure the death throes of a galaxy itself.

A tree capable of withstanding such cataclysmic force? The very thought strained imagination.

’Even the Elves would never dare call their so-called World Tree divine if they witnessed these,’ Anthony thought silently.

Then another thought struck him.

’And these energies...’

The air was saturated with energies he did not recognize. They were neither mana nor spiritual essence as he understood them, something beyond either, and far more primal.

"Master, I shall construct a protective dome for you," Voryss finally spoke, her voice low yet steady.

Anthony gave a brief nod. Under normal circumstances, he would have simply retreated into his Mirror Dimension to observe from safety, but he knew such a fragile construct would shatter instantly in this place.

’I must upgrade my Mirror Dimension,’ he thought silently. He recalled how Klaus had effortlessly bypassed it two years ago, as though it were nothing more than a thin veil of glass.

[Rule Domain: Protection Of Existence]

At Voryss’s words, the very fabric of the Pinnacle Realm seemed to bow beneath her will. Reality quivered as a pure, immaculate dome of white light surged outward from her as the epicenter, enclosing them in an instant.

Anthony felt an overwhelming current of energy flood his being. His form seemed to ascend beyond its mortal state, as though the very laws of existence had wrapped themselves around him like a silken mantle around a newborn, ready to guard him even from the death of the universe itself.

A sense of profound warmth and serenity blossomed within him. For a fleeting moment, he felt not merely protected, but illuminated, his soul basking in quiet revelation.

Then, as if a thread had snapped, the trance broke. His gaze shifted to Klaus and Voryss, who now stood poised for a battle that would last but a single minute and yet carry the weight of eternity.

Voryss’s fingers flexed, her nails extending into gleaming claws as she stood utterly still, like a goddess awaiting judgment. Klaus answered her silence with a calm smile, drawing forth a massive broadsword that shimmered with barely restrained annihilation.

Their eyes locked, her molten orange against his abyssal black. Time itself seemed to hesitate, reluctant to permit such beings to clash.

And then, as if the concept of existence had briefly forgotten them, they both vanished.

’Where?’ Anthony’s thoughts raced. Even his Sense Dome and every heightened perception he possessed failed to track their movements. They had slipped beyond detection entirely.

A heartbeat later, a force of incomprehensible magnitude, enough to rend a galaxy asunder, slammed into the protective dome around him. The ground outside tore apart, trees splintered into dust, and the Pinnacle Realm convulsed from the first impact.

A cataclysmic roar shattered the air, reverberating through Anthony’s body. The sound alone should have obliterated him, yet Voryss’s Rule Domain held firm, shielding him from the wrath of beings that stood above gods.

Claws and sword clashed in cataclysmic fury, each strike carrying an apocalyptic weight no galaxy could hope to endure. The collision birthed waves of raw energy that rippled outward, howling through the air as if reality itself screamed in protest.

In a blur faster than light, Klaus and Voryss vanished and reappeared, their weapons tearing into one another with force great enough to rend the very fabric of existence.

They simply moved, unstoppable, while the Pinnacle Realm trembled in their wake, as if fearing the annihilation they carried with every strike. Space itself folded and split around them as they clashed through the void.

Then, as though silently agreeing, they disengaged in an instant, realizing that mere physical combat would no longer suffice for now.

Their voices cut through the air at the same moment, resonating like divine edicts:

Concept Of Annihilation: Shredding Factor

Concept Of Erasure: Causality Delete

At once, an unknown energy surged from their beings, and reality shuddered as it was forced to recognize their Concepts.

Then — destruction came.

Around Voryss, space, time, matter, even the fundamental essence of existence quaked and unraveled, torn apart in apocalyptic waves as though the heavens themselves were being flayed open.

But before her Concept could shred Klaus from reality, his own flared into being, an unbroken pulse that collided with hers and unmade her devastation in an instant, erasing every atom of damage she had wrought.

The surrounding plane convulsed. A portion of the Pinnacle Realm simply ceased to exist, erased outright by the clash. The realm itself quivered on the edge of collapse, as though it had never conceived of withstanding power such as this.

Concept Of Erasure: Erasing Flash

Klaus’s voice resounded through the haze of unraveling reality, each word striking like a divine decree.

Energy thundered. Space convulsed, twisting in agony as the void yawned open before him, one rift splitting into ten, then a hundred. From every gaping wound in reality, a blinding column of white erasure surged forth, each beam a sovereign command to end all things.

Where they passed, space disintegrated. Mana dissolved. Air itself was unmade. Existence bowed and vanished beneath the radiant flood as though the very will of the celestials had spoken.

Yet Voryss stood unmoving, calm. She did not smile. She did not flinch. She did not even consider evasion.

Instead, she activated her own Concept.

Concept Of Annihilation: Gaze Of Extinction

Her molten orange eyes blazed, igniting with an incandescent brilliance, as though the hidden laws and ancient truths of reality had been etched into her sight.

The instant her gaze fell upon the onrushing white beams, they faltered mid-flight, their momentum collapsing as if time itself had bowed to her will.

Cracks splintered across their surfaces like fractures in glass. The fissures spread in silence until the beams shattered, not in explosion nor chaos, but in perfect, unresisting surrender. Each fragment dissolved into nothing, erased not violently, but absolutely.

No roar. No cataclysm. No lingering trace.

Only pure EXTINCTION.
