Chen Shu shook his head, got up, and returned to his room. Although the living room and the other three rooms were ruined, his room remained intact. It seemed the urea bags had some deterrent effect.
Chen Shu packed his belongings, slung his bag over his shoulder, and left with his suitcase. He had only just moved in that morning and was moving out that evening. There wasn't time for a dramatic story. He would return to the hotel for the night and face his judgment tomorrow.
Chen Shu’s mind was buzzing with potential explanations as he left the dormitory building.
“Brother Han Fei, what’s going on?” Wang Jue was waiting downstairs. Seeing Chen Shu emerge with his luggage, he seemed to sense something.
“Just a small matter, a small matter,” Chen Shu said with a calm smile. “Going out for a meal, and my home is gone. Who can I complain to?”
“He’s truly a fierce one!” Wang Jue swallowed, already imagining the culprit. Could it be that he was uncomfortable with the dormitory arrangement?

“Everyone, return to your dorms. It’s safe now!” The dorm manager came outside, calling for the other students to return.
The next morning, Chen Shu was woken by a phone call.
“Hello?”
“Chen Pi! Did you set the dormitory on fire?” Fang Si’s voice came through, filled with shock. “Is this a bit too wild?”
“Uh, Sister Fang Si, it was an accident, an accident,” Chen Shu rubbed his eyes and explained, “It was all the fault of a stupid dog.”
“Don’t call yourself that!”
“???” Chen Shu’s mouth twitched. “I meant the husky!”

An hour later, Chen Shu arrived at a three-story building that appeared to be quite deserted. This was the academy’s disciplinary office.
“Hmm? Student Chen Shu, right?” A middle-aged man at the entrance said with a smile, “Such a kid! Daring to burn down a building on the first day! A potential inmate!”
Chen Shu’s mouth opened slightly, and he said, “Teacher, you flatter me. I just stumbled onto this path by accident.”
“Stop talking nonsense and come with me!” The man turned and left. They went up to an office on the third floor.
“Your accomplice is here!” the man announced. Chen Shu saw two people already standing in the office.
“Huh? What the heck!” Chen Shu exclaimed, looking up. “Ah Liang? Wang Jue?”
“It’s you?!” Ah Liang also looked surprised, not expecting Chen Shu to be there.
“You three know each other?” The middle-aged man’s mouth hung open. He nodded, “So, you’re working as a group?”
“No—” The three tried to explain, but the man cut them off.
“Ah—Ah Liang, is it? Your surname is Ah? What nonsense is this?” The man looked surprised and said, “Tell me about your mistake. Why did you tie up all three of your roommates in the toilet and give them laxatives!”
Chen Shu and Wang Jue both looked over. “You’re truly ruthless! You wanted to disgust people to death?”
“Teacher, I had my reasons,” Ah Liang said righteously. “I just arrived at the dormitory and wanted to build good relationships. I even gave all three of them my business cards, saying they could find me if they were bullied and I’d give them a discount. But someone mocked me, saying I was showing off, and that a good university student shouldn’t be idle all day!”
“Could I, Ah Liang, tolerate this?”
“Stop! Stop!” The teacher shook his head and interrupted. “Is this your reason for torturing people?”
Ah Liang argued, “I was also trying to deepen their friendship. The scene of them all having diarrhea together, it’s unforgettable!”
“Alright! Don’t say any more!” The man shook his head. The empathy was too strong; he couldn’t even eat his lunch.
“Wang Jue, right? What about you?” The man then turned his gaze to Wang Jue.
Wang Jue lowered his head and said softly, “I just did some moving work.”
“I understand the reasoning, teacher, but what’s the meaning of you emptying out the entire dormitory?” Chen Shu and Ah Liang looked over. “You’re something else! Pulling this on the first day?”
“Don’t misunderstand, I’m not a thief!” Wang Jue explained, “I always do things for money. I wouldn’t do something like this! My roommate is Yu Yi, and the other two are his sycophants. The three of them teamed up to mess with me! So, in the dead of night, I moved out all their belongings from their rooms, wanting to annoy them.”
The middle-aged man raised an eyebrow and said, “Is that why you pulled down the three of them’s underwear?”
“???” Chen Shu and Ah Liang’s eyes widened. They immediately moved away. “You’re a pervert?!”
“Uh, no—” Wang Jue waved his hand and explained, “It was my contract spirit. I didn’t do it myself! The three of them are running around naked in their rooms now, hehe.”
Seeing Wang Jue actually start to chuckle, the disciplinary office teacher’s expression became stern, and he glared at him. Wang Jue immediately restrained his smile and kept his head down in silence.
“You two are alright, only three roommates have filed complaints,” the teacher nodded, his gaze fixed on Chen Shu. “What was your reason? Who provoked you? I’ve already inquired. Your three roommates have never even met you!”
“Uh—” Chen Shu coughed. “This was actually the dog’s doing.”
“I know. Setting the building on fire at the start of the semester, a person wouldn’t do something like this!” Chen Shu’s mouth twitched. How could he explain this? His eyes darted around as he desperately thought of how to phrase things.
Finally, he concocted a logically sound story. Just as he was about to speak, he was directly interrupted!
“Don’t speak, I can feel you’re about to start talking nonsense!” The disciplinary office teacher, seeing his expression, didn’t want to listen anymore.
“I—” Chen Shu felt an immense blockage in his chest, his expression like he was constipated. “You’re going too far!”
The disciplinary office teacher ignored Chen Shu and said, “Your roommates have all said that if you are allowed to continue living here, they will report it to the police!” The three remained silent, heads bowed, looking obedient.
“Since you three know each other, then you’ll be roommates! Consider it a form of ‘raising insects’!”
“???” The three looked up, mouths agape. “What do you mean by ‘raising insects’?”
