Chapter 191: Chapter 191, Entering the Giant Dragon World_1

Giant Dragon World.

This was a new world, much like the Xileruo World, with blue skies, white clouds, and a sun shining brightly, making the group feel its intense warmth. The Giant Dragon World was not enshrouded in darkness; it was an independent world, not under the Alliance of All-Gods. Worlds engulfed in darkness were always covered by a red blood moon, devoid of day and night, possessing only endless darkness, a sky heavy with death, and an abundance of Demonic Beings.

Within the Giant Dragon World, there was also a small town surrounded by stationed armies. Their purpose was to maintain Order and prevent the world’s destruction. Teleportation points were vitally important; if destroyed, any Heroes who had entered would be trapped in the Giant Dragon World forever.

In the small town, many stalls were set up for trading, all displaying Dragon Eggs of various sizes. Alice glanced at them and stated bluntly, "These Dragon Eggs are all from land-walking Earth Dragons. Earth Dragons are very easy to obtain."

Jiang Chen looked at the prices, which were not exorbitant—most were around one hundred thousand. There were even some Dragon Eggs priced at just a few thousand! However, whether these were actually Dragon Eggs or something else was uncertain, as these eggs were as small as quail eggs. Jiang Chen seriously suspected they were just quail eggs being passed off as Dragon Eggs.

Additionally, a stall displaying a map caught Jiang Chen’s interest. A map would be incredibly useful, saving them from having to search blindly. The map seller was a middle-aged man with black hair, a rare sight in these parts.

Jiang Chen asked, "Is this a map of the Giant Dragon World?"

The middle-aged Hero, seeing a customer, smiled broadly. "You’re right, this is indeed a map of the Giant Dragon World. Are you from the Human World’s Dragon Sector Alliance?"

"How could you tell?" Jiang Chen inquired.

"Black hair and black eyes are unique symbols of the Human World and the best proof of our Dragon Zone Union," the man replied. "Since I’ve run into a fellow countryman, I’ll give you a fifty percent discount."

"Are you sure you’ve been to these places?" Jiang Chen asked, his skepticism clear.

"Of course, I’ve been there. I’ve marked out where some Flying Dragons are located, and I’ve also noted some very dangerous places. With this map, your exploration here will avoid many detours. This is the only copy of the map," the man assured him. "And you won’t encounter any dangers. If you’re lucky and discover a Dragon Egg during your exploration, you could strike it rich."

"How much?" Jiang Chen asked.

"One hundred thousand. Cheap enough, right?"

A bit pricey. Jiang Chen thought. He then said, "We are all Heroes from the Dragon Zone Union."

"I know," the man responded. "Dragon Zone people don’t cheat Dragon Zone people."

Jiang Chen readily paid and took the map from the middle-aged man’s hands, examining it closely. It indeed marked many red areas.

The middle-aged man cautioned, "The red zones are extremely dangerous. Also, if you discover any Giant Dragons, it’s best not to slay them."

Jiang Chen nodded and then left with Alice and the others.

Watching Jiang Chen depart, the middle-aged man quietly pulled out another map, murmuring, "Complete map of the Giant Dragon World, eighty thousand a copy."

Jiang Chen stopped in his tracks.

Damn it, so much for ’Dragon Zone people don’t cheat Dragon Zone people’! he fumed internally. The price isn’t the issue; the main concern is whether this map is genuine.

Clutching the map, the group of seven set off onto the main road. Jiang Chen consulted the map. "According to this, Earth Dragons are all around us. We’ll only find Flying Dragons about a thousand kilometers away. A thousand kilometers—that’s going to take a long time."

If they were to travel solely by foot, it would probably take several days. Only by venturing deeper would they be able to search for Dragon Eggs. Alice and the others didn’t have any flying pets, which meant just leaving this area would take quite some time. They didn’t understand what Jiang Chen was implying.

Jiang Chen suggested, "How about this: you guys wait for me in the town. I have Wings and can fly there quickly. I’ll be back within a day."

Jiang Qiu nodded. "Alright, the journey is indeed quite long. We’ll wait for you in the small town."

Alice added, "Jiang Chen, be careful. Although the Giant Dragons are not under the Alliance of All-Gods, there is a covenant between them. It’s best not to slay any Giant Dragons, especially the Flying Dragons in the sky."

Jiang Chen nodded. Mother dragons laid Dragon Eggs, and human powerhouses came to forcefully seize them. This was essentially stealing their children and then killing the mother dragon—undeniably a cruel act. There was an agreement between the Giant Dragon World and the Xileruo World: one could attempt to subdue with force, but one must not slay the Giant Dragons. Even if a Giant Dragon was slain, no experience points would be gained, similar to fights among Heroes. Giant Dragons neither belonged to the Dark Creatures nor sided with the Evil God.

Jiang Chen activated his Wings, a Skill from his Weapon.

[Wings: A pair of wings emanates from oneself, allowing for short-term flight. Flight time: 1 minute. Cooldown time: 8 minutes.]

After a hundredfold amplification, the flight time became 100 minutes, and the cooldown time became 4.8 seconds, tantamount to an Infinite Skill.

The group watched with envy as Jiang Chen flew away.

"If only we could fly too, that would be wonderful."

"I remember the Swordsman doesn’t have a Flying Skill. How did he become like an Angel, with wings too?"

"That’s a Flying Skill that comes with his equipment. Do you think if its cooldown ends, he’ll fall from the sky and die?"

"Probably not."

At the same time, the five of them were perplexed. Did Jiang Chen’s Flying Skill not have a cooldown time? Flying that high, a fall would be catastrophic. He could potentially be the first Hero to fall to his death from the sky.

Jiang Qiu said, "Let’s go, let’s head back!"

The group returned to the small town to wait.

Jiang Chen flew hundreds of meters into the air and surveyed his surroundings. Many Earth Dragons roamed the ground below, and he also spotted some Dragon Eggs, but these Earth Dragons were not his target. These were ordinary Earth Dragons. Beyond walking, they could barely use any Magic, and some were even slower than humans.

Following the map, Jiang Chen flew forward. His flight speed was very fast. In just a few minutes, he had flown hundreds of kilometers. Only then did Jiang Chen get a clear view of the Giant Dragon World’s terrain. Ahead, he saw a continuous range of towering mountains, at least several thousand meters high. Some Flying Dragons were hidden in caverns deep within these mountains. These Flying Dragons were Jiang Chen’s target.

Jiang Chen continued to fly. Many Giant Dragons saw his figure and roared in anger. They all knew humans came with one purpose: to steal their children.

"Damn it, this human is too bold, daring to soar freely in the sky! Doesn’t he know the sky belongs to us Giant Dragons?"

"Humans have come again! Do they want to steal our children?"

"Kill him! Teach him a lesson he’ll never forget!"

"No one dares to soar freely in our skies!"

As Jiang Chen was flying, over a dozen Giant Dragons swooped down from the mountain peaks, heading in his direction.

Jiang Chen glanced over.

What’s going on?

They seem to be targeting me.

Jiang Chen didn’t know that flying in the Giant Dragon World easily made one a target for the dragons; it was considered a provocation.
