Chapter 130: Myriad Armament Constitution (Bonus Chapter 4/5)

Liam sighed, as he collapsed onto the bed with a wide satisfied smile on his face. The meet-up had been a blast as he had expected. Even more than he expected actually. And he had really enjoyed it.

As he thought of how enjoyable the meet-up was, Liam couldn’t help but think of what they said about their busy lives. He felt that maybe his friends were just like him who wants to stay home all day but are forced by their parents and society to go out and socialise. He felt that it was probably true.

He turned the thought over for a while, but it didn’t change the truth pressing on him: he needed to improve himself. He couldn’t just coast on wealth or even the system’s gifts. Strength mattered — real strength.

Talking about self improvement, Liam was already thinking of using the whole of tomorrow to train his superpower. He will take full advantage of the Dimensional Space’s time dilation and train for the whole of the day or till his body gives out.

With that decision made, Liam rose to go shower. When he returned to bed, his mind was clear. He had enjoyed himself today. Now it was time to rest. Tomorrow would be a new day.

The next morning, sunlight painted Bellemere Mansion in gold. Liam wasted no time. With a thought, his figure dissolved and reappeared in the VIP suite of the Great Yan Empire.

He had taken care of everything that he needs to take care back in Earth, and he could focus on what he has planned for the day. He sat on the broad bed, inhaled once, and gave the familiar command:

"System, sign-in."

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, host. You received 15,000 Gold Coins.]

[You received 80 Low Grade Spirit Stones.]

[You received a talent: Myriad Armament Constitution.]

[Note: Host can infuse the talent by simply thinking about it.]

***

Liam’s eyes widened when he saw the last of the rewards. The first and second he was used to, as he had received them twice already in the past two days. The only thing that changed about them is their quantity. But the last rewards was a game changer.

A talent. And not just any talent.

Suppressing the sudden jolt in his chest, Liam focused on the glowing notification, summoning the description.

[Myriad Armament Constitution: A talent that allows its bearer to master every weapon and its Dao without restriction, eventually merging them into the Supreme Weapon Dao.]

Liam’s heart skipped a beat and his hands actually trembled, as his eyes widened in even more shock when he read the description.

Everything he knows about the cultivation world comes from the web novels he has read. While most of the information are wrong as fiction tend to exaggerate things, a whole lot of them were accurate.

He knew about weapon talents, sword, saber, spear, staff. They are talents specifically focused on a single weapon. Yes, there’s also the extremely rare dual-wielding talent too. But that’s just two weapons.

The talent Liam received is an all encompassing weapon talent!

Yes, Liam had been asking for a talent but he had never expected to receive something like this.

The system just loves spoiling me, he muttered to himself, smiling brightly, from ear to ear.

His imagination ran wild as always, as he imagined himself wielding multiple weapons and fighting off an army by himself, dominating the battlefield in a storm of steel. The image was so vivid, so impossibly cool, he couldn’t hold back his excitement.

He couldn’t hold himself back as he decided to start with the infusion, but before he started, taking caution, he asked the system if there was anything he should know about the infusion process or do before he starts.

[It’s advisable for Host to find a remote place and prepare yourself for a lot of strange things, and pain.]

Liam nodded when he heard what the system said. He remembered that talents like this causes a lot of phenomenon and attracts heavenly tribulations. He felt that the pain the system was talking about was related to the heavenly tribulations and it made his body chill but he didn’t allow himself to dwell on the thought.

"System, since a remote would be best, then the Dimensional Space would be the perfect place.

[You’re wrong, Host. The Dimensional Space is the most dangerous place to undergo the infusion process.]

Liam was beyond shocked to hear this. Who had thought that the Dimensional Space he had thought was the safest place for him, was actually the most dangerous? How was that possible?

"How’s that possible?" He asked unable to hold in his curiosity.

[The Dimensional Space is located in a special place in the Grand Universe. If you undergo the infusion process there, the difficulty will be increased by a million fold.]

Liam frowned deeply when he heard this. He has been learning a lot about everything about the universe he lives in, lately, but this was different.

Grand Universe? What’s the difference between it and the three universes the system told him about?

He wanted to ask this question but he knew that it wasn’t the most important thing at the moment.

"System, how will the difficulty be increased in the Dimensional Space?"

He was actually very curious about this.

[If you undergo the infusion process in this world or any other worlds in the cultivation universe, the difficulty will be determined by the Heavenly Dao of that world. And it would, in every cases during the infusion process or birth process, strike down whoever it is that possesses such a talent, even if it has to ask help from the Grand Dao.]

[But for you Host, it won’t dare strike you down. But it will test you. However if you choose to go through the infusion process in the Dimensional Space, you will be tested by the combined Heavenly Daos of the universe and the Grand Dao. While the Heavenly Daos won’t dare do anything to you, it’s not the same for the Grand Dao.]

[This is the same if you decide to undergo it on Earth. Not only that, but the combined trials will attract the attention the attention of extremely powerful entities.]

At this point, Liam’s eyes was opened wide without restraint, and he felt that the floor had dropped beneath him.

He felt like he was suddenly thrust into something he has no idea what it is. Heavenly Daos? Grand Dao? How did he offend such entities?

But there was something the system said that stuck to his head: The Heavenly Daos won’t dare do anything to me.

This sort of gave him a glimpse into what sort of entity the system or its creator was, for the all powerful Heavenly Daos to not dare touch him.

Liam sighed heavily and decided not to think about it too much. He knew that with how things are going, he will definitely get there and he will learn everything about everything in his universe, those extremely powerful entities and the Grand Universe.

But for now, he has a supreme talent infusion process to undergo. Since the Dimensional Space and Earth were out of the option, he decided to go with the best possible option: the Thousand Mist Forest.

He immediately vanished from the suite and appeared at the entrance of the forest.
