Bai Jin replied: "No, this is indeed the highest loan contract signed by Lu Ya, I am now giving it to you, which means Lu Ya owes you this much money. How much you can reclaim depends entirely on your ability; do you dare to accept this gift?"
Maitreya Buddha immediately closed the scroll, put his hands together, and bowed, laughing as he said: "Thank you, senior brother! Senior brother once said something I find very Buddhist—owing debts and repaying money is the natural order of Heaven and Earth, the principle of cause and effect."
Bai Jin commented with a smile: "Junior brother speaks truthfully.
Some of your Immortal Treasures and Divine Fruits can be sold for money, the bank purchases them, and they can also be sold at the Divine Palace. The temples of the Great Sun Tathagata in the Spiritual Mountain are probably among the best, many Buddhas would likely be willing to spend good money to acquire them."
Maitreya Buddha’s eyes lit up, he hastily bowed and said: "Thank you for pointing this out, senior brother, I now know what to do."
