The requirements from Planet Gu'erjia's leader included a fondness for potstickers, sorghum, white meat blood sausage, shaqima, and pasta. They preferred a king-sized waterbed and were accustomed to using silver cutlery, needing both chopsticks and forks. Sensitive to odors, they requested ample fresh flowers be placed in the room. Finding bathing troublesome, they wished for the bathtub to be automatically filled with water at 42 degrees Celsius every evening for a quick bath. Due to a cervical spine issue, a round pillow to relax the neck was necessary. For leisure, they enjoyed gaming and requested the latest model of a gaming pod.
Such requests, while numerous, were generally quite manageable. These were the leaders who made things easier.
Then there were the leaders who were less accommodating, listing forty or fifty lines of demands, even specifying the wool material for the room's carpet.
These were also manageable; it simply required a bit more effort in the arrangements.
The most difficult to handle were the leaders who made strange or excessive demands.
The leaders of Yongwang Star, Zhoutian Star, and Duwai Star made similar requests:
"Six Black girls aged 16 to 25 to attend to daily life at night, rotating from Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off. Preference for attractive appearance and good figures."
"Three female nannies required, with skin tones ranging from light to dark. They must be well-versed in literature and music, possess refined conversation skills, and be over 1.8 meters tall. Those with higher degrees or in scientific research are preferred. Their duties would primarily be during the midday break, morning wake-up, and evening bedtime."
"Several female servants are needed, capable of providing extensive services. This matter must be kept strictly confidential."
Furthermore, the leaders of Lanma Star, Galileo Star, and Antoni Star, all women, made the opposite requests:
"Two handsome male cleaners, responsible for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays respectively. They must have refined conversation skills, be over 1.83 meters tall, possess personal charm, be neat and hygienic, and have short hair."
"Six male bodyguards required for close protection at night, working in pairs for security. They must be handsome and cheerful, possess six-pack abs, and have at least a bachelor's degree. Prior military experience is a plus."
"Ten male masseurs, available on demand, virgins, between 16 and 20 years old. They must be polite."
Upon seeing these requests, Jiang Ye was utterly dumbfounded.
What were these demands!
Masseurs, nannies, bodyguards! Everyone knew what they were really asking for!
Jiang Ye found himself in a difficult situation.
On other planets, workers in these professions were readily available, even forming an industry.
However, on Jiang Ye Star, such professions were strictly prohibited!
The police frequently conducted raids, enforcing the law very strictly.
In this regard, Jiang Ye held an unshakeable principle: no matter how profitable, related industries were absolutely forbidden.
But the attendees of the summit were all leaders of major planets; he couldn't afford to offend any of them and had to cater to all of them.
Jiang Ye sat in his office, facing the long list of requests, his face etched with worry.
"Knock, knock, knock!"
Three knocks sounded on the office door, followed by it opening.
Jiang Ye was furious. He hadn't even said "come in," yet they entered so casually. It was utterly lacking in protocol.
He instinctively gathered the long list of demands. If these indecent requests were leaked, it would be a major interstellar diplomatic incident.
But it was Cen Yemeng who entered.
She was wearing a white dress and carrying a lunchbox.
"Oh, why are you here?" Jiang Ye breathed a sigh of relief and placed the list back on his desk.
"I heard you were very busy, so I made some food for you," Cen Yemeng said, placing the lunchbox on the desk. "I made it with organic ingredients, not from a printer."
"Oh, you've worked so hard. I am a bit hungry," Jiang Ye opened the lunchbox, revealing potstickers and steamed dumplings. "Shall we eat together?"
"I already ate before coming. I just dropped our son off at the nursing home, and kindergarten also started today," Cen Yemeng said. "Our son didn't cry. Other children cry on their first day away from home."
"Perhaps when one is older, they don't cry so easily," Jiang Ye said, picking up his chopsticks to eat. "Since Forest will go to the nursing home every day from now on, you'll have some rest too."
"I'm not tired; I'm just taking care of one child," Cen Yemeng turned and looked at the list on the desk. "What is this?"
Jiang Ye smiled. "You'll know when you look."
Cen Yemeng scanned it and quickly noticed the problem.
"These people... they have such demands?" Cen Yemeng exclaimed in surprise. "What are you going to do? Our planet doesn't have anyone openly doing this kind of work. There might be some doing it secretly, but it's not convenient to find them."
"Exactly, I'm worrying about this," Jiang Ye said. "They've made their requests, and we have to satisfy them. These planet leaders and generals might each donate billions, bringing in a large number of scientists and related industries. This opportunity is unprecedented. Small planets can become prosperous by latching onto one big power; I have dozens of major powers coming at once, and I must hold onto them!"
Cen Yemeng smiled. "If there's enough time, you can look for them on other planets."
Jiang Ye froze.
Then he slapped his forehead in realization.
Staying up all night really made his mind sluggish; he hadn't thought of such a simple solution.
If it wasn't allowed on his planet, then they could import them!
He took out his phone and sent a message to Che Zhen.
Soon, a knock sounded at the door.
"Enter!" Jiang Ye called out.
Che Zhen rushed in, out of breath. He was nearby with his troops maintaining security and had come immediately upon receiving the message.
"I need you to send someone to another planet to handle a matter," Jiang Ye said, tearing off a page of the list and handing it to him.
Che Zhen looked at the page, and his expression became peculiar.
"Understood, I'll send someone immediately," Che Zhen replied.
"Find a few backups, and make sure they are the most top-tier, the most handsome, and the most beautiful," Jiang Ye instructed. "I'll give you thirty million. If that's not enough, then bring in some minor celebrities from other planets. If you need more money, just let me know; you'll get whatever you need."
"Yes!" Che Zhen hesitated for a moment. "Sir, may I ask... why are you having me send people to do this?"
"This matter requires strict confidentiality, and your subordinates have the best discipline. Although this is a shady business, it is fundamentally very serious and important," Jiang Ye pointed to what Che Zhen held. "Don't lose that paper; losing it would be disastrous, a diplomatic crisis."
Che Zhen accepted the order and left.
Just as Jiang Ye was about to lower his head to eat, he noticed Cen Yemeng resting her chin on her hand, looking at him with a strange expression.
"Wh-what's wrong?" Jiang Ye asked, feeling flustered.
"How long will the summit last?" Cen Yemeng inquired.
"Uncertain, it depends on how many days the discussions take," Jiang Ye replied. "What's wrong? Your expression is very strange."
"During the summit, you'll be coming home to sleep every night, right?" Cen Yemeng narrowed her eyes.
Jiang Ye suddenly understood. "Oh, my dear wife, where is your mind going? I will definitely be well-behaved and law-abiding! I will definitely come home every day! Don't doubt me; I'm not like those planet leaders! I am a gentleman!"
"That's for the best," Cen Yemeng smiled slightly, then stood up and left.
