Chapter 286 The Complaint Hotline

At nine o'clock, the transport ship landed precisely, stirring up waves of dust in the center of the military base.

Fifty spider armored vehicles were ready and waiting. As soon as the ship's hatch opened, they quickly boarded.

Jiang Ye sat in his office, facing a wall-sized screen.

The screen displayed a satellite map of the entire desert.

His phone vibrated. A message from Isabelle arrived.

Your troops are all on board, where are they flying? Mark a spot on the map for me.

Jiang Ye picked up the wireless mouse, looked up at the large screen, and clicked on a plain across the desert, marking the location.

The ship immediately took off, moving across the satellite map.

At first, its speed was so slow it was barely perceptible.

After more than ten seconds, its speed increased dramatically, like a badminton shuttlecock, streaking across the screen. In less than a minute, it traversed the entire desert and reached the designated location.

Jiang Ye felt a pang of pain. In just this short time, five hundred thousand had been spent.

He hoped the troops would act well on the other side, find more places worth developing, and earn back the capital as quickly as possible.

Five minutes later, Isabelle's ship landed at the military base again, delivering the second batch of spider armored vehicles to the other side.

The two batches of spiders converged, moving collectively on the screen. Various scanning information popped up, gradually filling the screen.

Jiang Ye picked up his phone and sent a message to Isabelle: "Sister, give me a ride back."

Isabelle replied with an OK gesture.

Jiang Ye left the office and went downstairs. As soon as he stepped out of the building, he heard a whistling sound. The mountain-like ship was slowly descending.

The rear hatch opened, and Isabelle walked out, waving.

Jiang Ye walked over. Before he could react, Isabelle hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

The surrounding soldiers erupted in a commotion, turning their heads to look at the sky.

Jiang Ye blushed furiously. "So shameless!"

Isabelle grinned playfully, "If I'm not ashamed, why are you? Where do you want to go?"

"Just near Binhai City. I need to go to the Termite Real Estate building," Jiang Ye said.

He had known Isabelle for a long time, but this was his first time inside her spaceship.

The interior space was smaller than he had imagined, but it could still accommodate dozens of armored vehicles. There were also some metal railings to prevent cargo from tipping over. The overhead lights were red, casting a red hue on everything, even Isabelle's face and hair, which made Jiang Ye feel uncomfortable.

"Why are the lights red?" Jiang Ye asked.

"I forgot to turn off the night mode. Night mode uses red lights, so human eyes can adapt to darkness fastest after exiting the cabin."

Isabelle led Jiang Ye to the front of the cargo bay, where there was a row of small leather seats with seatbelts.

"Sit here, I'll pilot the ship," she said, turning to leave.

Jiang Ye sat down and fastened his seatbelt.

After a few dozen seconds, the engines roared with a sound like a dam bursting, and the entire ship vibrated!

For a fleeting moment, Jiang Ye felt as if he were sitting on an erupting volcano. Fortunately, he was wearing a seatbelt; otherwise, he would have been thrown ten meters away.

It was indeed a cargo ship, and sitting in it was very uncomfortable. The acceleration was too great, and he felt on the verge of vomiting.

Fortunately, the journey was not long. The engine's roar quickly diminished, followed by the vibration.

Isabelle reappeared, patted Jiang Ye's head, and said, "We're here. Bye."

Dizzy, Jiang Ye disembarked. The buildings of Binhai City were already in sight.

He walked to the Termite Real Estate building.

He went to the top floor and headed straight for Reya's office.

Reya was lounging in her executive chair, her bare feet propped on the desk, a cigarette clamped between her fingers as she exhaled smoke.

"All the contracted engineering projects have been completed," she said as soon as she saw Jiang Ye, her face conveying a clear "don't bother me."

"I know, that's why I'm here to give you a surprise." Jiang Ye took out his phone. "BYDCJG B-00118877, you recognize this number, right?"

Reya's eyes narrowed as she tried to recall. Suddenly, her expression changed drastically. She took her feet off the desk, sat up straight, and glared at Jiang Ye. "What do you want to do!"

Her reaction was exactly as Jiang Ye had expected.

"BYDCJG B-00118877, this is the number for the Termite Real Estate Regulatory Department."

The number, of course, was given to him by the receptionist.

Jiang Ye could make a complaint about Reya by calling this number.

"Complain about you," Jiang Ye said, sitting on the edge of the desk and dialing his phone. "You have a terrible attitude, you called me a pauper, a bumpkin, and insulted clients verbally. You also privately set transaction amounts, refusing jobs less than a billion, severely damaging your company's reputation."

Reya's face paled. She stood up abruptly. "How can you do that!"

"That's what I should be asking you, how can you do that?"

Jiang Ye poked his finger, and the call went through.

Reya panicked. She jumped onto the desk and lunged to snatch Jiang Ye's phone, fumbling to hang up.

"You can't complain about me!" Reya glared.

"I will complain about you."

Reya tucked the phone into her bra, resolutely refusing to return it.

"If you don't give me my phone back, I'll buy another one, and then I can complain about you snatching a client's phone," Jiang Ye said calmly, watching her.

Reya gnashed her teeth in frustration. She took out the phone, held it next to her face, and said, "If you promise not to complain, I'll give it back."

"No," Jiang Ye retracted his hand. "Then I don't want it. In any case, I must complain."

"Why are you like this!" Reya looked like she was about to cry. Frustrated, she stomped her foot. "I... I'll apologize, okay?"

"Are you that afraid of being complained about?" Jiang Ye crossed his arms. "If you're afraid of clients complaining about you, why don't you treat your clients better?"

"I'm sorry! Is that enough? I'm sorry! I shouldn't have cursed at you! And I shouldn't have had a bad attitude towards you!" Reya handed the phone over with a look of humiliation and grievance. "Please don't complain about me, okay?"

"I still have to complain, but I can tell your company that you apologized." Jiang Ye took back the phone and dialed again.

After dialing, Jiang Ye didn't press the call button.

Reya began to sob. Tears streamed down her face. She glared at him, her eyes full of tears.

"Tell me, what can I do to stop you from complaining?" Reya wiped her tears with her sleeve, her voice choked with sobs. "Do you want money? How much money would satisfy you?"

Jiang Ye appeared unfazed on the surface, but inwardly he was quite astonished.

He had seen Reya as arrogant and fearless just a few days ago.

Now, a single complaint call had reduced her to this state.

It seemed that Termite Real Estate's complaint system was very effective, and the penalties were extremely severe. The receptionist had indeed provided a killer move.

Reya suddenly reached out and took off her jacket, revealing a bra covered in red sequins. She grabbed Jiang Ye's hand and pressed it upwards.

"Do you want me?" she asked, sobbing.

Jiang Ye pulled his hand back and placed the phone on the desk.

He took out some tissues from his pocket and wiped her tears.

Reya misunderstood. With tears still falling, she bent over and unbuttoned her pants, revealing her plump thighs.

"Alright, put them back on," Jiang Ye said. "When is Xu Yan coming back?"

Reya pulled up her pants, her face already streaked with tears. It was evident that she was terrified of the complaint call to an extreme degree.

"She's already on her way back. She'll be back in two or three hours, and I'll leave then," Reya sniffled. "Please don't make the complaint call, okay? I beg you. Whatever you want, you can have. You can push me onto the desk right now, you can ask for money..."

"I'm not interested in you, and I'm not short of money," Jiang Ye said, getting off the desk. "I forgive you now, but I hope you learn from this lesson."

Reya was still crying, reaching out to wipe her face repeatedly. Her eye shadow was smudged, making her face look like a palette.

Jiang Ye strode away. As he reached the door, he was called back.

"Don't complain," Reya looked at him pitifully, her voice very small. "Please, thank you."

"You're welcome," Jiang Ye smiled.
