“I wanted to shake you awake, but seeing you sleeping so soundly, I gave up on the idea.”
“However, you then leaned against my side, and I was too sleepy, so I fell asleep.”
“I swear, everything I’m saying is the truth!”
“If I’m lying, may lightning strike me dead!”
“Do you believe me now?”
Ye Fei explained with a wry smile.
