Chapter 7 The Prime Minister’s Eldest Daughter (7)

Inside the Bei Li kingdom's military camp, several generals stared at the red-clad woman seated at the head of the table, and at their own Emperor who was pouring tea for her, exchanging bewildered glances. For a moment, they suspected their Emperor had been replaced.

Mo Zijun:

He felt utterly helpless. This was his incredibly ferocious master! What else could he do? He had acknowledged her as his master, so he had to serve her.

At this moment, a tall general asked curiously, "Your Majesty, who is this lady?"

Mo Zijun: "This is my master."

Tall general: ?!

Other generals: ?!

"No, Your Majesty, where did you find a master? We've never heard you mention one!"

These generals were close confidantes of Mo Zijun, having grown up together. Mo Zijun didn't maintain strict imperial etiquette with them, so they voiced their confusion. "Your Majesty, when did you take a master? We didn't even know." They even pulled Mo Zijun aside to whisper, "Your Majesty, we think you've been tricked by a charlatan from the martial world!"

"Exactly! Your Majesty, this woman is so young; she looks like a con artist!"

"Your Majesty, please don't be fooled by her sweet talk!"

Mo Zijun's face darkened. "Silence!"

"It's over, it's over! Your Majesty must have been driven mad by those pedantic old men in court!"

"It must be! I'll go find them later to get to the bottom of this!"

Ming Li, listening to their incessant chatter, impatiently slammed her hand onto the table. Instantly, cracks appeared on the three-meter-long discussion table, starting from where Ming Li's hand rested, and the cracks continued to spread until the entire table collapsed with a loud bang.

Mo Zijun and the generals: ?!

They collectively swallowed, too stunned to utter another word.

Seeing their silence, Ming Li left the tent and headed towards an empty, deserted area.

As she reached the entrance, she said plainly to Mo Zijun behind her, "Aren't you coming?"

Mo Zijun:

Ignoring the generals behind him, he eagerly followed.

The generals: "Your Majesty, where is your dignity? Where is your commanding presence? You must remember you are the Emperor, Your Majesty!"

Mo Zijun followed Ming Li to the open space and saw his master smiling radiantly.

Mo Zijun: ?! "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" www.kanshu5.net

As expected, the woman opposite him dropped her smile. "Did you learn what I taught you last time?"

Mo Zijun: "Yes, I learned it."

"Good. Today, your master will teach you something else."

Then, Mo Zijun felt the dread of being dominated by his devilish master once more.

Meanwhile, on the side of the Da An kingdom, when Nangong Jin led his army to the border, they heard that the Bei Li kingdom had stopped fighting.

Nangong Jin: ?! "What? I traveled thousands of miles, and you're telling me you're not fighting anymore?!"

He sent people to investigate, but they found nothing. However, while strolling through the military camp, he overheard someone say that on a certain day, a red-clad woman on a white horse had suddenly appeared, and the Emperor of Bei Li saw her and inexplicably retreated his troops.

Nangong Jin: ?! He sent people again to investigate the identity of the red-clad woman. His secret guards spent days investigating and finally found out.

Nangong Jin stared blankly out the window. He never would have imagined that the woman was Bai Ming Li, the Prime Minister's daughter.
