Seven Star Divine Fish

Chapter 550 Not Listening to Lin Feng

Chen Xuerou glared at Lin Feng, annoyed. "Hey, what are you doing? Where are you putting your hands?"

"Didn't we agree before? You need to show me some respect from now on. It's only been a few days, and you're back to your old ways!"

Lin Feng was taken aback. "Teacher Chen, I thought you didn't refuse, so you tacitly agreed. I was just feeling it, I won't move."

"If you want to feel, feel yourself."

Chen Xuerou pushed Lin Feng's hand away.

Sister Rose watched them bicker, feeling even worse.

"Lin Feng, why don't you sit in the passenger seat? You can feel me?" Sister Rose suggested.

Chen Xuerou was shocked by her words.

Was someone actively seeking to be touched?

"Sure, I'll take the passenger seat."

Lin Feng smiled and, without further ado, moved to the passenger seat, habitually reaching out with one hand.

"Hey, you need to pay attention to driving safety. Can you drive like this?" Chen Xuerou exclaimed, a hint of worry in her voice as she looked on in disbelief.

"No problem. Forget about touching, even if I were doing other things, it wouldn't affect my driving!" Sister Rose said with a generous smile, feeling much more at ease.

Chen Xuerou didn't know what to say. Sister Rose's driving was too fast; she was clearly an experienced driver!

However, Chen Xuerou also understood that Sister Rose was quite fond of Lin Feng.

As a woman herself, she knew that such parts were sensitive and one would never allow a person of the opposite sex to touch them so casually.

Clearly, Sister Rose liked Lin Feng a lot, accepting him both physically and emotionally.

Yet, for some reason, Chen Xuerou felt a pang of emptiness in her heart.

She didn't dislike Lin Feng touching her, but seeing him touch another woman made her uncomfortable.

She didn't know why.

Perhaps she just couldn't stand Lin Feng's behavior! Chen Xuerou rationalized to herself.

As the sun began to set, the group finally reached the foot of a mountain before darkness fell.

Ahead lay endless, rolling mountains, a vast expanse of peaks cloaked in green, presenting a formidable and treacherous landscape.

The air here was exceptionally fresh, and standing in this place, Chen Xuerou felt incredibly small.

At the same time, she felt a surge of excitement and exhilaration, eager to explore the mountains.

"Sister Rose, the entrance to Longyuan isn't far now. I think we should head into the mountains tonight."

"We can't drive any further. Everyone grab your gear and let's proceed on foot."

Shao Liguo's face was filled with excitement. He had studied Longyuan culture for years and was finally about to witness its true form.

Fortunately, the mountain path wasn't as difficult as they had imagined. There were few thorny bushes, and due to the autumn season, the ground was covered in fallen leaves.

As they walked on the thick carpet of leaves, their footsteps felt soft and yielding.

Shao Liguo led the way, map and compass in hand.

Zeng Qiang followed, his assault rifle held ready for protection, their roles clearly defined.

After walking for about four hours, the sky had completely darkened by the time they reached a waterfall.

"This is it. According to ancient texts, Longyuan lies beneath the waterfall."

"To open the entrance, we need to find a peculiar stone."

Shao Liguo took out a powerful flashlight and began searching the surroundings with great anticipation.

"Uncle, what do you consider a peculiar stone? Isn't it just a big rock?"

"But there are so many stones here. Which one are we looking for?" Zeng Qiang asked, looking at the countless rocks before him, feeling like he was searching for a needle in a haystack.

"What else can we do? We have to search slowly. Anyway, we're here now, no need to rush," Shao Liguo said, having no better solution and resorting to examining each stone individually.

Lin Feng smiled. He had no patience to play this stone-finding game with Shao Liguo and the others.

He immediately circulated the Heaven and Earth Creation Art, extending his true energy to sense for anything special.

As expected, Lin Feng's method proved effective.

He detected a square stone emitting an invisible energy.

He then walked over to the stone, holding his flashlight.

The stone was about the size of a dining table, bare and appearing no different from any other ordinary rock.

However, Lin Feng did find something unique about it.

There was a crevice in the center of the stone.

He took out the half-section of the Hidden Dragon Sword and measured it against the crevice.

The crevice perfectly matched the blade of the Hidden Dragon Sword.

"Everyone, come over here. The entrance should be here," Lin Feng called out.

Shao Liguo and the others quickly gathered around.

Lin Feng inserted the half-section of the Hidden Dragon Sword into the crevice, and with a rumbling sound, the previously surging waterfall abruptly stopped its flow.

Below the waterfall, a cave was revealed.

"Kid, you're amazing! How did you find the peculiar stone to open the entrance to Longyuan so quickly?" Shao Liguo exclaimed with delight.

"Just a coincidence. I happened to see it," Lin Feng replied vaguely.

"Uncle, he just got lucky. There's no need to be so surprised. Since the entrance has appeared, let's go in and take a look quickly!" Zeng Qiang said dismissively.

He felt increasingly annoyed that Lin Feng had found it first. Damn it!

"Alright, everyone be careful. I don't know what the situation is like inside the cave. It might be dangerous. Stay close and don't fall behind!" Shao Liguo cautioned, gesturing for Zeng Qiang to lead the way.

Zeng Qiang, carrying his assault rifle and wearing a headlamp, walked at the very front.

As they entered the cave, they were met with a biting, cold wind.

The chilling wind blew out from the cave, sounding like the roars of fierce ghosts, with mournful cries.

Chen Xuerou, frightened, clutched Lin Feng's sleeve, feeling that a terrible presence lurked within the cave.

"Don't be afraid, everyone. This sound is caused by the airflow friction against the rocks," Shao Liguo explained.

"No, this sound is more than just airflow. There are also strange calls," Lin Feng warned, stopping them. His earlobes twitched, and he could vaguely hear hissing sounds.

"I think we should set up camp here and wait until dawn before going further. There might be unknown creatures ahead."

Lin Feng wasn't trying to be alarmist; he could sense a formidable aura.

"Haha, if you're scared, just say you're scared. I don't hear any strange calls," Zeng Qiang chuckled, thinking Lin Feng was making things up.

"That's because your cultivation isn't high enough. If you trust me, we'll rest here. If you don't, then go in and die!" Lin Feng said, too lazy to explain further. He called to Chen Xuerou and Sister Rose, and they began setting up tents on the spot.

"Dad, what should we do now? Go in or not?" Shao Xiaonan asked. Having experienced Lin Feng's previous warnings, she felt it was better to be cautious.

She definitely didn't want to end up like last time, suffering from snake venom after ignoring Lin Feng's advice, nearly losing her life.

"Oh, what are you afraid of? I'm here. Even if there are monsters, I can shoot them dead."

"This kid is just trying to scare you. Don't believe him!" Zeng Qiang scoffed.

"Alright, then we'll go in and scout ahead first. With Zeng Qiang here, it should be fine!" Shao Liguo was eager to see what Longyuan looked like and didn't take Lin Feng's warning seriously.
