Chapter 385 General Rule is No Pain

Ye Tian retrieved the immortal needles. He first put Jia Jia into a deep sleep, then used a small, spoon-shaped flat needle to excavate the tissue and stop the bleeding, applying medicinal powder.

Half an hour later, Jia Jia woke up, feeling something strange about her nose. "Mom, why did I fall asleep?"

Dong Shiming looked at Ye Tian and asked, "Mr. Ye, is she alright now?"

Ye Tian replied, "She's fine. In half a month, bring Jia Jia to the hospital for a check-up to see how she's recovering."

Dong Shiming bowed deeply to him. "Thank you, Mr. Ye."

Ye Tian waved his hand. "Alright, take your daughter home."

As Dong Shiming left with his daughter, Zhu Hongyan smiled slightly and said, "Mr. Ye, I'm impressed."

Ye Tian responded, "Don't be impressed yet. It's almost closing time, let me give you a massage and acupressure."

Zhu Hongyan's heart skipped a beat. "Now?"

Ye Tian chuckled. "What, are you shy?"

"No, I'll go prepare."

Zhu Hongyan quickly went to the restroom, spritzed herself with perfume, and tidied her clothes before returning to the office.

Ye Tian had her lie down on the sofa and said, "I will use my true essence to clear your meridians. Where there is flow, there is no pain, and you will recover quickly."

He placed his large hand on Zhu Hongyan's lower abdomen, and a force seeped into her core. Her body immediately began to feel warm, generating a peculiar sensation.

Ye Tian knew that his actions would cause Zhu Hongyan to experience feelings akin to pleasure during intimacy. To avoid embarrassment, he started a conversation. "Hongyan, do you have a boyfriend?"

Zhu Hongyan replied, "If I had a boyfriend, I wouldn't be spending all day in the laboratory."

Ye Tian smiled. "Would you like me to introduce you to some promising young men?"

Zhu Hongyan said, "Thank you, Mr. Ye. I'm currently dedicating all my attention to my work and have no interest in men."

Ye Tian remarked, "Actually, if you had a boyfriend, your menstrual pain symptoms would have been resolved long ago."

Zhu Hongyan's beautiful eyes widened. "Why?"

Ye Tian replied, "No explanation."

Zhu Hongyan's face flushed.

The meridian clearing lasted for half an hour. Zhu Hongyan's sensations grew more intense, and she even had a noticeable physical reaction.

Fortunately, just as she was about to lose her composure and make a sound, Ye Tian removed his hand.

"It's done. This treatment should last for at least six months. Afterward, you should take two more doses of the herbal medicine to consolidate the effects."

Zhu Hongyan quickly sat up. "Thank you, Mr. Ye."

Ye Tian checked the time. "It's getting late, I need to go. I have a dinner engagement tonight."

After bidding farewell to Zhu Hongyan, Ye Tian headed directly to the Imperial Cuisine House. By the time he arrived, it was already six-thirty.

With the reservation set for seven o'clock, Ye Tian first went to the kitchen to give some instructions to the head chef, asking him to prepare a few new flavors.

As he exited the kitchen, he heard someone in the lobby call out to him, "Are you Ye Tian?"

He turned his head and saw several familiar faces – three men and two women. One of the men, in his early twenties, greeted him.

Upon recognizing the person, some distant memories resurfaced. The man was one of his childhood playmates from the same village, named Zhou Wan. Zhou Wan had moved to the city in his third year of junior high and they hadn't seen each other since.

Ye Tian smiled. "Zhou Wan!"

He walked over with a smile, intending to shake Zhou Wan's hand. However, Zhou Wan took out a cigarette, lit it, and made no move to shake hands. He said, "Ye Tian, are you working here?"

Ye Tian retracted his hand. "Something like that." He was the owner here, so saying he worked there wasn't entirely incorrect.

Zhou Wan said to the people beside him, "This guy is from our village, he used to be the leader of the kids. But being a leader of kids doesn't amount to much. Look at him, he's just a kitchen helper at a restaurant now."

With that, he shook his head and completely ignored Ye Tian, leading his friends to find a table.

Ye Tian felt speechless. He thought to himself, since this guy was so cold, why did he even greet him earlier?

The manager walked over and asked, "Boss, are those people your friends?"

Ye Tian replied, "Not really."

If Zhou Wan had been a little more polite, Ye Tian would have waived their bill today and even gifted them two bottles of good wine.

Zhou Wan, while chatting with his friends, glanced sideways at Ye Tian as he went upstairs. He said, "I'm friends with the owner of this hotel. Whatever you want to eat later, I'll tell them directly in the kitchen to prepare it."

A woman chuckled. "Zhou Wan, you even know the owner here? I heard the owner is very impressive, a wealthy magnate with extensive connections."

Zhou Wan said proudly, "Of course. Our relationship is incredibly good!"
