Chapter 103 Enemies Meet

Tang Li suddenly looked up and saw several familiar faces!

These were the people who had captured her in Jiangcheng four years into the apocalypse, during the extreme cold season in her previous life!

However, their numbers now were significantly larger than they had been three years later in her past life.

And their leader from her previous life was currently following behind another leader.

But even so, Tang Li still spotted him at a glance, along with others she had seen in her past life.

Seeing them brought back memories of her previous life, of her arms being severed, being hung upside down by a stove, of them carving flesh from her legs and burning her wounds with a hot iron before she died.

A surge of intense hatred immediately filled her heart, her gaze so filled with killing intent it almost solidified into substance!

“In my last life, it was because of you that I couldn’t reach Jiangcheng.”

“This life, I am fully prepared, and I absolutely will not repeat the same mistakes!”

“Since I’ve encountered you, not one of you will escape today!”

Tang Li’s heart hardened.

Without a word, she drew her Yan Ling saber and lunged towards their leader from her previous life.

However, before she could reach him, their current leader, carrying a large axe, charged at her.

The moment they clashed, the massive axe swung directly at Tang Li.

This axe strike was powerful and heavy.

Tang Li quickly retracted her Yan Ling saber, which had been aimed at the opponent's vital spot, and nimbly dodged by sidestepping.

After the first exchange, neither of them had harmed the other.

Both stopped their movements, watching each other warily.

Tang Li could tell that this person was a skilled fighter, not an ordinary individual, and would be difficult to deal with.

She probably hadn't survived until the third year in her previous life because she always liked to charge into battle like this, ultimately falling prey to others.

“Third Master, go for it! Take her down!”

The others surrounded them, cheering their leader on.

Even people from the trucks in front and behind had exited their cabins to watch the fight.

The person opposite Tang Li seemed to be emboldened. He twisted his neck, flexed his wrists, and once again swung the great axe at Tang Li.

Although Tang Li's strength was immense now, she definitely couldn't withstand this axe strike with just her flesh and blood. She quickly retreated to evade.

While dodging, she was contemplating a plan.

“Now, there are only two ways. One is to disarm this person and then kill him, and the other is…”

With that thought, Tang Li directly took out her pistol from her spatial storage and fired a shot at him.

*Bang!*

Even though it was a blank round, the airflow from the muzzle, along with a small amount of gunpowder residue and metal fragments, directly hit the opponent’s face, making him unable to open his eyes. He immediately retreated.

Tang Li seized the opportunity, lunged forward, and plunged her saber into his throat.

Instantly, the man who had been relentlessly pressing forward fell backward onto the ground. After a few twitches, he became still.

The surrounding onlookers, who had been cheering, fell silent. They stood frozen, as if petrified.

The air was filled with silence.

“You damned woman! How dare you kill Third Master?”

“Everyone, attack! Don’t let her escape!”

After a long moment, someone finally reacted.

Following this shout, most of the nearly two hundred people charged at Tang Li.

Some, however, retreated, attempting to escape towards the eastern intersection, but their escape routes were blocked by the trucks they had driven there.

Those who had exited their cabins quickly climbed back onto the trucks, intending to drive away.

Tang Li, with her Yan Ling saber in one hand and the pistol in the other, incapacitated the charging attackers while also hindering the escapees.

Although Tang Li’s pistol only contained blank rounds, those trying to escape did not know this. Seeing the bullets fly towards them, they no longer dared to climb onto the trucks.

By the time Tang Li finished dealing with the charging attackers and turned her attention to them, it was too late for them to climb back onto the trucks!

The two trucks that had been used to block others’ escape routes had now become chains binding themselves, a fitting retribution for their own actions.

Some people tried to crawl out from under the trucks, but Tang Li used her immense strength to forcefully push the trucks forward a short distance, exposing those still lying on the ground. She then dealt with them, one by one.

Afterward, Tang Li slowly walked back.

There, those who had captured her in her previous life were still struggling on the ground.

They had lost their ability to move, but they were not dead.

Tang Li approached the leader from her previous life, who was struggling painfully on the ground with his arms severed. She slowly squatted down and looked at him.

Upon seeing Tang Li’s face, the man’s expression drastically changed, and he exclaimed in terror, “It’s you?”
