Chapter 299: 299: Whispered Heat Beyond the Door
---
And for the first time since his return, their home felt whole again. Meanwhile, two hours ago... When Luna and Kai were mating.
The hall outside Kai and Luna’s private chamber was dimly lit by the warm flicker of torches. The stone walls glowed with a faint sheen, and the air carried the faint vibration of life and warmth that spread through the mountain at night.
Azhara was the first to slide down against the opposite wall, her long legs stretching out lazily as she leaned her head back. Her silky hair spilled over her shoulders in waves, and a sly grin played on her lips.
"Well," she said with a perverted face, her voice a purr that echoed softly in the hallway, "our dear king... our Ant Lord is busy claiming and satisfying his first wife. From the sound of moaning... it feels like sir Kai is going all out."
Vel sat beside her, arms crossed, cheeks faintly pink despite her attempt to look disinterested. "You do not have to say it like that."
"Why not?" Azhara tilted her head, her smile widening. "You can feel it too, can’t you? The heat of moaning... the way the air hums. His aura is leaking through the stone. I wish it was me there... under his big thick anaconda."
Sha fidgeted on the other side of the hall, her tail / ass swishing against the floor. "I... I am trying not to think about it."
"You are failing," Azhara said sweetly, leaning forward. Her eyes flicked over Sha’s flushed cheeks and trembling ears. "Oh, little brain and big chested Sha, your whole body is betraying you."
Naaro had been quiet, crouched with her knees drawn to her chest, her cactus resting in her lap like a sacred companion. But her hungry eyes glinted in the firelight, and she whispered, "The mountain feels alive tonight. Like... it is breathing with them."
The four of them fell into a strange silence, each aware of the quiet, rhythmic hum that seemed to pulse faintly through the stone. It was not a sound so much as a sensation — a soft thrum in the chest, a whisper against the skin. The unmistakable echo of life, of love, of something intimate happening just beyond the thick chamber door.
Azhara shifted, letting out a soft sigh as she leaned her head against the wall. "You know... this is torture. We are sitting out here, feeling every shiver of his aura, and our bodies know exactly what it means."
Vel turned her head away, but her blush deepened. "You are shameless."
"And you are curious," Azhara countered. She reached out, her fingers brushing lightly against Vel’s thigh. The touch was casual, teasing, but it made Vel stiffen and look back at her in wide eyed with a surprise.
"What are you doing?" Vel whispered.
"Building bonds, Let’s play with each other otherwise we all will die in this hunger for sir Kai’s anaconda." Azhara said with a slow smile. "We are sisters in this harem, are we not? And what better way to grow closer... than to learn how we feel together? Let’s do it. I can’t keep silent anymore."
Sha swallowed hard, her throat bobbing. "You are... unbelievable..." But she did not move away when Azhara reached for her hand, interlacing their fingers gently.
The firelight painted their skin in gold and shadow, and the air between the four of them thickened with unspoken tension. Naaro tilted her head, watching, her tail swaying idly as if in thought.
"You want to touch each other because he is mating his queen," she said matter-of-factly.
"Not just that," Azhara said softly. She leaned closer to Vel, her lips brushing her ear in a teasing whisper. "I want to know how my sisters feel. I want to taste the warmth that makes us one family."
Vel shivered, her breath catching. Her hand lifted hesitantly, then touched Azhara’s chest. Her fingers trembled, but she did not pull away. "You are... so bad..."
"Mm," Azhara hummed, "you like that about me."
Then, with slow confidence, she closed the distance and pressed her lips softly against Vel’s.
Vel’s eyes fluttered shut as a small, involuntary sound escaped her throat. The kiss was warm, slow, exploratory, and it sent a shiver through her body she could not hide. When Azhara pulled back, a faint string of breath connected their lips for a moment before it broke.
Sha’s face was fully red now, her tail twitching like a nervous drum. "I... I am not doing that..."
Azhara’s grin turned playful. "Not yet. But you are thinking about it. Don’t you?"
Sha looked down at her lap, silent.
Then Naaro moved unexpectedly. She crawled closer, her hungry eyes glinting with mischief and curiosity. "I will."
Before anyone could respond, she leaned in and kissed Sha, soft and brief, her lips gentle and experimental. Sha, gasped, freezing in place, but she did not push her away.
Azhara laughed softly, low in her chest. "Oh, I like this game..."
The four of them sat closer now, their bodies brushing, the warmth of skin against skin mixing with the faint hum of energy that seeped through the stone from the chamber beyond. None of them needed to speak the truth aloud: they were united in this moment, a soft current of shared intimacy running between them.
The quiet warmth of the hallway wrapped around them like a blanket. The only sounds were the occasional flicker of the torches and the soft, almost imperceptible hum of Luna’s moan pulsing through the stone walls. It was a living rhythm, one they all felt in their bones. It was a reminder that just beyond the thick chamber door, Kai and Luna’s love was blooming in full.
They are missing out on anaconda time. Their bodies were shaking in hunger and lust. It was like there was an earthquake inside their bodies.
Vel’s fingers lingered on her lips after Azhara pulled back, her chest rising and falling with uneven breaths. Her lustful eyes trembled, as if unsure whether to glare at Azhara or kiss her again or suck on her big chest.
"That... was..." she murmured, voice soft and airy.
