Chapter 408 I Want to Fight a Hundred!

The man, whose lower body was fused with the metal wall, could only move his upper half freely.

The man sized up the two of them again, stopped Gu Ya, and gestured for him to remove his jacket.

Zhen Li smiled seductively at the gatekeeper, slowly opened her outerwear, revealing her proud figure, and subtly slipped some paper money to the man, thereby gaining passage.

“Sometimes, you need to employ a few tricks,” Zhen Li said with a sheepish smile.

“You’re wearing a bulletproof vest underneath, which makes you easily suspicious.”

Gu Ya agreed, instantly retracted his thick trench coat, and conjured a black tuxedo to wear over the bulletproof vest.

Had Gu Ya’s physique not been lean and well-defined, layering so many clothes would have surely made him look fat.

Zhen Li smiled knowingly, saying nothing, thinking that today she had witnessed some of the secret methods of the Power Blade Bureau.

The two walked through a corridor bathed in dim, hazy light, and entered a vast, dark inner hall.

The entire hall was pitch black. There weren't many people inside; they stood in pairs, spaced relatively far apart from other groups.

They wore various masks, with only the shiny red number plates on their chests illuminating them, casting a sinister glow on each mask.

Gu Ya began to wonder how this woman knew that there were high-ranking officials of the authorities among these people.

However, Zhen Li quickly provided him with an answer.

“See? Ten meters away at the 3 o’clock position, that short, plump man accompanied by a slender woman is the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education Development of Lan Lan Lan Nation.”

“Twenty meters away at the 3 o’clock position, that shapeless woman with a young man is the Section Chief of the Archives Section in the Ministry of Regulations. She doesn’t have much money, so she’s probably here representing a high-ranking executive.”

Zhen Li whispered, but Gu Ya wasn’t in the mood to listen to this.

His gaze remained fixed on the stage directly in front of them.

A slender Dun Sa Xin girl, wearing only form-fitting attire, stood helplessly in the spotlight on stage, her expression one of despair and sorrow.

In the darkness outside the spotlight, a figure whose silhouette was unclear spoke lazily, “Eight hundred and thirty thousand Lan Ye coins. Are there any higher bids?”

Zhen Li lightly squeezed Gu Ya’s arm and whispered, “What are you going to do?”

“Nine hundred thousand!” Gu Ya shouted coldly.

Zhen Li was slightly startled. This Jude was too impulsive and high-profile!

“Nine hundred thousand! Are there any higher bids than this gentleman?” the man on stage asked.

After a few seconds of no response, the man tapped the table and said coldly, “Settle at the back! Next!”

“Do you really have nine hundred thousand? That’s enough money to buy three standard mechs!” Zhen Li asked softly as she followed Gu Ya calmly towards the back.

Gu Ya found this woman a bit annoying and thought it would be better to get rid of her sooner.

As soon as he entered the backstage area, Gu Ya saw the “merchandise” he had bought being escorted towards him by two men.

“Pay up, then get in the car through the back door,” one of the men said.

The moment the words left his mouth, a crimson lightsaber pierced his throat.

Before the other man could react, his head was severed.

The searing lightsaber cauterized the wound, not a single drop of blood spilled.

“What are you doing!” Zhen Li exclaimed in shock. “They’ll hunt you down!”

“Your mission is complete. Hurry and take this Dun Sa Xin woman away,” Gu Ya said coldly, stepping over the two corpses and heading deeper backstage.

Zhen Li shouted from behind, “You don’t know how many assassins they have!!”

As soon as she spoke, a large hole was forcefully blasted through the wall, and a massive, obese man, at least three times Gu Ya’s height, charged out from the debris, lunging at Gu Ya.

Zhen Li was startled; Jude had vanished into thin air!

When he reappeared, the giant’s head was already half-severed, his enormous body crashing against the wall with a thud.

Following that, countless figures emerged from the darkness, blocking Gu Ya’s path.

Gleaming blades lit up from the darkness, and without a word, the shadowy figures charged at Gu Ya.

Zhen Li was once again shocked. She watched as three Judes were created!

Hei Yang, Wang Chuan, and Gu Ya, each wielding two lightsabers, charged towards the crowd of shadows from the upper, middle, and lower directions.

For a moment, crimson light ribbons illuminated the dark corridor, and all that could be heard were muffled cries of agony wherever they passed.

In less than a minute, Gu Ya had eliminated over a dozen assassins in front of him.

“Do you want to stay and be buried with them?” Gu Ya asked coldly, turning back. “Hurry back and write your report!”

With that, Gu Ya sword in hand, charged towards the second floor.

At the top of the stairs to the second floor, a tall woman in a camisole and stockings suddenly leaped down, blocking his path.

Gu Ya thrust his sword forward, but a mechanical arm that appeared out of nowhere behind the woman grasped it.

Unexpectedly, Hei Yang and Wang Chuan appeared from behind her, and two lightsabers suddenly pierced her body, cutting her into three pieces.

Upon reaching the second floor, there were even more bizarrely shaped individuals, like a dense, impenetrable concrete pillar, blocking the corridor.

“Damn it, there are quite a few man-eaters here!”

Without any further ado, Gu Ya stepped back, and was instantly enveloped by the materialized micro-thunderbolt Zhaoxing armor.

Instantly, a ferocious lightning network erupted from his left arm, while particle bullets resembling a storm of pear blossoms shot out from his right arm.

No matter how many people were in front of him, no matter what strange technology or mechanical armor they employed, they were no match for the powerful weapons.

This was no longer a slaughter, but more like Gu Ya stepping on a nest of ants.

What was wrong with stepping on a nest of man-eating insects?

Gu Ya grabbed a man with a half-severed body and asked coldly, “Where is your headquarters?”

The man spat a mouthful of blood at Gu Ya and laughed defiantly.

The next second, a consciousness space instrument was placed on his head.

After Gu Ya emerged from this “insect’s” consciousness world, he stomped on its head, crushing it, and quickly departed from the crumbling building.

Killing evil people would not be overly scrutinized by the City Security Bureau, and it was safer than infiltrating official departments.

But Gu Ya was mistaken, and he had underestimated the efficiency of the City Security Bureau.

With such a large disturbance, the Security Bureau could not ignore it.

When he flew out of the Eternal Night District, a large number of security mechs with flashing red and blue sirens were already flying from all directions, encircling Gu Ya.

In the sky, glaring red and blue lights flashed.

Gu Ya squinted his eyes, ready for a major confrontation.

As the two sides were at a stalemate, Zhen Li, clad in special operations armor, transformed into an angelic figure of justice and flew towards the security commander.

After explaining the situation, the security forces stopped blocking Gu Ya and instead flew towards the building where the Dun Sa Xin people were being traded.

“Jude!” Zhen Li called out with a smile. “You owe me a favor! If we meet again, remember to treat me to a meal!”

With that, Zhen Li piloted her armor and flew away with her teammates.

Gu Ya wasted no further time and flew towards the target area.

He had already created a significant commotion, and the other side would surely be on guard.

This was also what Gu Ya had hoped for.

The passion for battle burned in his chest, and the idea of eradicating evil acted like nitrous oxide, making his back thrusters even more powerful.

In less than half an hour, Gu Ya landed steadily in a large courtyard outside a villa.

As soon as he stood firm, countless armored mech soldiers swarmed around him.

Blue, red, and white laser beams, like pouring rain, all struck Gu Ya.

The courtyard instantly resembled a giant, glowing pizza laid out, with countless glowing bullets hitting Gu Ya.

A spatial membrane enveloped the micro-thunderbolt Zhaoxing, and all the incoming bullets felt like falling leaves hitting his body, possessing no offensive power whatsoever.

Outside this giant glowing pizza, in the darkness, Hei Yang and Wang Chuan, wielding lightsabers, moved at breakneck speed like phantoms, swiftly reaping lives.

Groans and muffled pains erupted everywhere.

The glowing pizza seemed to be eaten with precision, disappearing in a fan shape from behind Gu Ya.

Suddenly, a colossal mech descended from the sky, directly collapsing the villa.

“Oh?” Gu Ya said gleefully. “They’re finally using mechs!”

On his way here, Gu Ya had investigated the laws of Lan Ye City, which strictly prohibited large mechs from operating within the city.

However, in special circumstances, such as the current one, anyone could summon a mech for counterattack without facing repercussions.

In fact, Gu Ya could have simply summoned his normalized Thunderbolt Zhaoxing, and its massive feet would have been enough to destroy the entire Lan Ye City!

But Zhen Li’s appearance made Gu Ya realize that this city had a group of people with a sense of justice, carrying heavy burdens, silently protecting innocent civilians.

With justice present, this city could be saved.

“Then come on!!”

Gu Ya roared, instantly flying into the sky, and summoning the Thunderbolt Zhaoxing to face the enemy’s firepower!

Pure, violent thunder erupted from the Thunderbolt Zhaoxing!!

Countless thick, bright blue lightning bolts instantly destroyed everything within a radius of several hundred meters. Trees burst into flames, thick walls were pierced, and deep pits were left on the ground.

The surviving villains on the ground all summoned giant mechs and unleashed fiery blasts towards the sky.

In the distant sky, numerous mechs flew in, surrounding Gu Ya.

Thousands of long-range weapons were fired, forming a dazzling ball of light in the air!

The massive explosion could be heard by civilians tens of kilometers away.

At the center of the battlefield, the Thunderbolt Zhaoxing had long since vanished.

“Why use a butcher’s knife to kill a chicken? These few mechs aren’t enough to fight!” Gu Ya roared.

The Thunderbolt Zhaoxing flew in from an extreme distance, like a flashing meteor!

In the blink of an eye, it carved a large ‘V’ shaped blue light pillar in the air.

Wherever it passed, mechs were destroyed, exploding into strings of orange-red fire.

“It seems this is not their true headquarters,” Gu Ya muttered.

Just then, numerous red lights flashed in the dark night sky, and the roar of mechs could be heard from all directions, forming a large circle that enclosed Gu Ya.

“Hmph! Now that’s more like it!” Gu Ya said excitedly, staring coldly as the mechs flew in from afar.

A familiar male voice came from the communicator: “You killed so many of our soldiers! Tonight, you will pay with your life!!”

Gu Ya was taken aback and suddenly remembered that this was Qiao’s voice, the one he had imprisoned in his hideout.

It seemed that after escaping, he had mobilized the regular army of Lan Lan Lan Nation!

“Even better!” Gu Ya became slightly serious and said excitedly, “I haven’t had a proper fight since coming underground!”

“Let loose! Have a big one!!”

“Call out your strongest mechs! I want to fight a hundred of them!!”
