Shortly after, Mu Ye Xingchen, clad in a magnificent cloak with a black background and gold trim, appeared at the bedchamber entrance.
"Fortunately, I made it in time."
Xu Jie, who should have been dead, suddenly lifted his head, his eyes filled with madness.
He snarled at the two, laughing mockingly, "I have myriad clones!! Hahahaha!"
The two were startled and quickly rushed out of the bedchamber!
Above the mountains and rivers, countless grotesque half-human, half-mechanical creatures, like surging tidal waves, converged from all directions!
