Dou Mei once again put on a coy expression, lowering her gaze and saying sweetly, “Oh dear, you’re hurting me.”
At that moment, two female instructors walked up from behind, glanced at the elevator, then at the pair, and quickly walked away, stifling giggles.
“What is your purpose?” Gu Ya asked in a low, angry voice.
Dou Mei looked at Gu Ya affectionately, “What are you saying? The renowned Gu Ya appearing at Xianxia’s top mecha pilot academy, and even enrolling through cheating, that definitely warrants a thorough investigation.”

Gu Ya stared into her eyes, trying to see through her soul.
But Dou Mei appeared so natural, more genuine than some seasoned actors today, that Gu Ya couldn’t tell if she was telling the truth or not.
“Just for this?” Gu Ya asked in a calm, low voice.
Dou Mei smiled, nodded, and continued softly, “I truly stumbled upon a treasure. It’s an honor to meet you. Your deeds have already spread through the intelligence community. Do you know your nickname? They call you ‘The Unregistered War God’.”
Gu Ya slowly released Dou Mei, but his eyes remained fixed on her slightly chubby yet innocent, playful face.
“Why use a hallucinogen?” Gu Ya pressed.
Dou Mei chuckled, her expression instantly changing to one of cold allure. She said calmly, “That was just ordinary smoke, to test your abilities.”
“Clearly, your abilities have exceeded my expectations. I will report this truthfully.”
“You will become a key focus of Special Section Nine.”
A slight smirk played on Gu Ya’s lips, his eyes flashing with a hint of killing intent. “I can’t let you leave.”
Unexpectedly, Dou Mei calmly smiled and said, “Do you think I’m the only member of Special Section Nine in the academy? Do you think they aren’t watching what we’re doing right now?”
Gu Ya remembered what his father had said before leaving: Special Section Nine was a terrifying and meddlesome department.
