"How can it be because of you?" Ye Chenhan retorted indignantly, "Their arguments are because they can't control their emotions. How is it related to you?"
Seeing Ye Chenhan's concern for her, Yu Xixi recounted the events of that night.
After listening, Ye Ziyu realized that Gu Xiuyu's departure was partly her fault.
"Alright, you're just too kind," Ye Chenhan said, putting his arm around Yu Xixi's shoulders. "It's normal that he doesn't like you and doesn't want to date you. If anyone is to blame, it's Old Master Gu. He must know that a forcefully plucked melon is not sweet."

Ye Chenhan held Yu Xixi possessively, "Don't talk about Gu Xiuyu anymore. If he had any conscience, he would show up when Old Master Gu is sick and hospitalized."
"Are you jealous?" Yu Xixi poked Ye Chenhan's cheek.
The hand on her waist tightened its grip, and Yu Xixi shrieked at Ye Chenhan's unruly hand. Realizing Ye Ziyu was still in front of them, she bit her lip and glared at Ye Chenhan, warning him to behave.
Young couples were indeed good, their playful bickering filled with love.

The passenger door opened, and Ye Chenhan got in, grinning and instructing Ye Ziyu to drive.
"You're treating me like a driver?" Ye Ziyu snorted, unbuckling her seatbelt and moving to the back seat.

"I was wrong, I'll drive. You just sit comfortably," Ye Chenhan said with a smile, moving from the passenger seat to the driver's seat.
As the car left the Yu residence, Ye Ziyu put her phone away, no longer looking at the news.
Bored, she glanced at Ye Chenhan's triumphant face in the rearview mirror.
"Does Uncle Yu know about your relationship?" Ye Ziyu asked.
Yu Wenzhou doted on Yu Xixi immensely. If he knew Yu Xixi was dating Ye Chenhan, wouldn't he fly into a rage?
Ye Chenhan sighed, his mood darkening at the mention of it. "Xixi said our relationship isn't stable yet, so we shouldn't tell our parents. We'll tell them once our relationship is solidified."
"Oh," Ye Ziyu teased, "So you're in a relationship without any formal recognition?"

The car braked abruptly.
Ye Chenhan turned to look at Ye Ziyu's innocent expression. "You did that on purpose!"
"You guessed right," Ye Ziyu said with a smile.
