“Someone…”
As Di Mingjue kissed her lips, Ye Ziyu managed to utter half a word before the rest was swallowed.
The door was pushed open, and Ye Chenhan and Ye Shaoting stood awkwardly outside.
“Um, you guys…” Ye Chenhan’s hand on the doorknob didn’t know whether to let go or hold on tighter.
Hearing the voices drifting in from outside, Di Mingjue shielded Ye Ziyu’s body with his own. He turned his head and sharply ordered, “Close the door!”
“Yes, yes!” Ye Chenhan quickly closed the door, his face red.
The wind blew against his flushed cheeks, and he stammered to Ye Shaoting beside him, “Their relationship is so good!”
They still found time for a passionate moment in the office.
The scene imprinted in his mind, Ye Chenhan didn’t notice Ye Shaoting’s furious expression.
Ye Ziyu pouted, tidying her disheveled collar. Her mind was filled with Ye Chenhan’s shy and hesitant expression.
“It’s all your fault, now I don’t know how to face them!” Ye Ziyu glared at Di Mingjue resentfully.
Picking up the tie that had fallen on the floor, Di Mingjue still moved closer to Ye Ziyu, “Help me put it on.”
“Dream on!” Ye Ziyu stood up from the sofa, angrily maintaining distance from him.
With the tie wrapped around his hand, Di Mingjue stuck to Ye Ziyu’s back. “We’re legally married. They saw, so what? Are they not allowed to witness our marital intimacy? Besides, they were just envious.”
Envious?
Ye Ziyu glanced at him, then tidied her handbag.
It was too awkward; she had no mood to work in the office anymore.
With her crossbody bag, Ye Ziyu walked to the door and took a deep breath, fearing Ye Chenhan and Ye Shaoting were still standing outside.
“I’ll do it.” Di Mingjue stepped forward and generously opened the door.
Ye Shaoting was no longer at the door, but Ye Chenhan was.
“Hi!” Ye Chenhan held up his palm.
Di Mingjue crossed his arms, looking at him like an idiot.
“I’m going out for a bit. Call me if anything comes up.” Ye Ziyu poked her head out from behind Di Mingjue, then turned and darted into the nearby elevator.
Shouldn’t he be the one who was embarrassed and hiding?
Ye Chenhan tilted his head, puzzled, looking at Di Mingjue, who showed no embarrassment. It was as if it wasn’t him who had been seen, but someone else entirely.
Di Mingjue smiled and turned into the elevator.
The smile on his face remained from upstairs all the way into Di Jue Group. Ye Ziyu couldn’t stand it anymore. Her tightly clenched fist landed heavily on his chest.
“Stop smiling!”
“Hahaha~”
Holding it in all the way, Di Mingjue let out a hearty laugh.
With people coming and going, Ye Ziyu lowered her head to hide her face, moving away from Di Mingjue.
Watching her actions, Di Mingjue’s smile widened.
Nearby employees stole glances, and the gossip group had already spread the scene in the lobby.
Exiting the elevator, Ye Ziyu saw that Di Mingjue hadn’t arrived yet, so she entered his office first.
Shen Lin had somehow procured a set of LEGOs, and the children were gathered on the carpet, assembling them.
“Thank you for your hard work, Assistant Shen. You can rest now.” Ye Ziyu placed her handbag on the table and rolled up her sleeves to join them.
Seeing Ye Ziyu, the children pushed the LEGOs in front of her.
“Mommy, do you know how?” Qianqian asked.
She certainly knew how to play with LEGOs.
However, seeing Qianqian’s eagerness to teach her, Ye Ziyu shook her head and replied, “I’m not very good at it.”
“I’ll teach you.” Qianqian picked up a LEGO piece and explained to Ye Ziyu, pointing to the diagram, “This should go here. Be careful, Brother said if it breaks, it can’t be used anymore.”
Her small hands looked soft and tender, and the LEGOs in her grasp seemed like cotton candy, her fingers afraid to exert too much force.
Looking at her serious expression, Ye Ziyu couldn’t help but touch her chubby cheek. “Our Qianqian can be a teacher in the future; you’ll be very meticulous with children.”
