Chapter 706: Chapter 406 Isn’t This a Slap in Her Face

After Henry Sullivan left, Ivy Miller sat up in bed, feeling annoyed and smacking the bed.

What does it feel like to have a husband who doesn’t understand romance?

There certainly won’t be a correct answer in textbooks; just look at her.

She got up, fortunately having bought a lot of snacks yesterday, otherwise her stomach would be pitiful.

She got out of bed, brought the snacks onto the bed, opened a bag of chips, and started browsing on her phone while eating.

Maybe it was because she was in a bad mood today, but no one even inquired about products in the store.

She opened Weibo and started scrolling, downed a few bags of snacks, and nearly finished browsing Weibo.

Just as she lay down to rest, the door outside the living room opened.

Ivy Miller was startled, quickly stuffed the snacks to the side, and lay down pretending to sleep.

But the rustling of the bags was too loud to hide.

The bedroom door was pushed open, and Henry Sullivan’s voice came through: "Not eating meals properly, eating snacks every day, aren’t you afraid of ruining your stomach."

Ivy Miller pretended to sleep.

Henry Sullivan entered the room and lifted the snack bag from her pillow: "Don’t pretend, I know you’re not asleep."

She sprang up and looked at him: "It would be better if I were dead, then as a widower, you could pursue true love."

Henry Sullivan frowned: "What nonsense are you talking about, don’t speak carelessly."

"How am I speaking carelessly, I’m just voicing your true feelings, aren’t I, that’s why you’re so nervous."

He turned sideways and sat on the edge of the bed: "I just asked you to have a meal, why do you have so much to say."

Ivy Miller pouted in defiance and turned her head to look elsewhere, Henry Sullivan pointed to the living room: "Isn’t the meal I left really for you to eat?"

Ivy Miller was stunned for a moment, he left food for her? She pouted looking at him, how would anyone know if he didn’t say anything.

"I’m not eating."

"Right, because you’re full from snacks, you can’t eat anymore."

He spoke as he already turned sideways to sit on the bed and took off his shoes.

Ivy Miller looked at him: "Hey, why are you getting on the bed."

"Taking a nap, what’s wrong with that?" He looked at her, seeing her expression, it was as if he were some unforgivable rascal.

Ivy Miller rolled backward to make space for him, Dylan Moore frowned at the crumbs all over the bed.

Ivy Miller pouted, scratching her eyebrow: "I... haven’t had the chance to clean it up yet."

"Girls should behave like girls, you... forget it, I’m too lazy to lecture you, get down."

"Why." She raised her chin and looked at him.

"Clean up a bit." He was really exasperated, what else could he mean?

Ivy Miller thought, this guy is tougher to deal with than her dad.

Previously, when she ate in bed, and her dad saw, at most he would just say a few things like how could a young girl not be clean, wasn’t it dirty.

This guy just went ahead and cleaned up, wasn’t that a slap to her face.

She got off the bed, he lifted the duvet, took the sheet off, shook it, put it back on the bed properly, and then said: "Don’t eat in bed again."

"Got it," she replied with a bad attitude.

Henry Sullivan looked at her, really puzzled, clearly, he hadn’t done anything with Isla, but ever since the photo incident at noon today, he just felt guilty toward this little woman.

She took off her shoes and rolled to the inside of the bed, turning her back to him as she lay down, ready to sleep.

He lay down on the outside but didn’t sleep.

Seeing her remain motionless all the time, he turned his head and said: "Sleeping on your stomach isn’t good for your heart."

She didn’t respond either, he sat up slightly and leaned over to take a look, this carefree woman had actually fallen asleep.

He originally thought she was angry and was considering whether to explain something.

Now it seems, she wasn’t angry at all, she was clearly just giving him the cold shoulder.
