Silently Writing
Chapter 77 to Chapter 202 Plot Design Summary
Secondly, thank you again to my beautiful, charming, and adorable Huihui editor!
Okay, let's continue to say thank you in the future. Let's talk about the plot design from Chapter 78 to Chapter 202 first.
In fact, this has to start with the setting I made when I started writing the book...
(Friends who haven't finished reading the plot before Chapter 202, don't read on)
… (Here’s a dividing line I designed for you)
Before writing this book, my plan was 20 seasons, that is, from Kobe's rookie season to his retirement. However, as we all know, when writing about cheats, I felt a difficult to crack, and even unsolvable problem with basketball novels!
A real problem!
That is: Because basketball novels have a natural outline, if you write 20 seasons, it will be very easy for readers who understand the story of these 20 seasons to guess which season the protagonist will win the championship in, and which season the protagonist will become a god.
In this way, it is easy for the author to lose the best part of sports novels as he writes more and more seasons: a sense of suspense.
I have put a lot of effort into the plot and writing of this book. Whether it was being selected by the 76ers in Chapter 76 or defeating the Bulls after writing 1.01 million words in Chapter 101, these were carefully designed by A Qiao.
So far, the thing I am most satisfied with is that my ability to control the rhythm has slightly improved compared to the previous book. At least according to my idea, the story is developing very smoothly. I gave myself 9 points for the first 77 chapters, and I only want to give myself 8 points for this big plot from 78 to 202 chapters, because there are still some areas that I need to improve. I told everyone in the group about this. It will take about two more books for me to reach my peak.
Therefore, from my introduction, I generously gave you a spoiler that Su Feng will "kill God", but how will this God be killed? Or in which year will he kill?
To be honest, what I set from the beginning was to start with the 96/97 season.
So here comes the question, why did I set it up this way when I started writing the book? And many other students will ask, is Jordan still a "God" without his fifth championship?
Here, I can only say that you have to watch the 20 seasons slowly, because from the moment he defeated the Bulls, the next 19 seasons will be decided by me, that is, your code-writing tool person, A Qiao.
The reason is simple, because Jordan will definitely not retire.
In this way, the entire storyline that follows will be completely rewritten. Except for some plots that I said I would not change, on the timeline, you will not be able to predict which year Su Feng will win the championship, which year he will become a god, or which year he will make decision 1, 2, 3.
And this is the reason why I designed to steal Jordan's fifth championship:
Let Su Feng create a butterfly effect that is enough to change this timeline, because in my opinion, if you write a time-travel novel and everything remains the same, it would be too fake. Right, a butterfly can affect the world, let alone Su Feng?
Therefore, for the sake of suspense, I planned to upset the Bulls in the 96/97 season, and in order to complete this plot, A Qiao conducted repeated research and deliberation.
To prevent you from guessing that I would defeat the Bulls this season, Su Feng cannot go to a team that is too strong, because if he does, it will become a matter of course, but Su Feng cannot go to a team without hope, because no matter how I write it, it will definitely be unreasonable.
Therefore, I chose the 76ers.
Because the 76ers have Iverson at the start, and Iverson happens to be the nemesis of this Bulls team. But just having Iverson is not enough to defeat the Bulls, so I wrote the plot about Ben, allowing Ben to join the 76ers. And then, because the 76ers may advance to the playoffs in this life, Weatherspoon brought in Ratliff in advance.
There are not so many routines, only the natural progress driven by the plot. And in this process, if I want to defeat Jordan, I must also set the background of Su Feng as a "physical monster".
Because I said in the book, in fact, Su Feng has been beaten in these four games. He can only pray that under the premise that the 76ers restrain the Bulls, he can defeat Jordan through time.
So, in fact, I told you before it was put on the shelves that the regular season of the 96/97 season may not be very good, because throughout the entire regular season, I was digging holes, laying foreshadowing, and seriously doing the plot, just to complete the upset in the first round of the playoffs, and at the same time increase the rationality of the upset.
Therefore, I basically skipped the games with those weak teams, but I was seriously depicting the robber setting of the 76ers in the games with strong teams.
By the way, there is another purpose for choosing the 76ers, that is because Davis is a rookie coach, and because Davis is a rookie coach, it is possible for him to accept Su Feng's suggestions and hints.
In the 90s, the relationship between labor and management was tense, and it was 100% impossible for a rookie to control the team. And I have repeatedly emphasized this point many times in the book.
So, after this plot is written, I think you can boldly guess how the story will develop next.
Jordan will definitely not retire, so where does Su Feng's title of God-Slayer come from besides the badges given by the system? What kind of sparks will Kobe, who has been modified by Su Feng, have with O'Neal? Why did I give Duncan, who is about to enter the league, so many scenes? McGrady, Carter... and so on, if Jordan plays for two more years, what kind of sparks will he have with these talented geniuses?
So in fact, I know all the questions you mentioned in the chapter reviews.
For example, wouldn't Su Feng be invincible after defeating Jordan? Huh? Huh? Huh? Judging from Su Feng's current ability value, aside from the physical setting, it is only around 77 to 79. Where does invincibility come from?
For example, if Jordan doesn't have his fifth championship, does the position of God not exist? Ahem, cough, well, I can't spoil that.
For another example, after Iverson is injured, is the 76ers suspected of giving away the championship? Um... To be honest, I have dug a lot of holes for this. First of all, what is giving away the championship? Since our story and reality are two different lines, how can there be giving away the championship?
Does the protagonist have to win the championship after defeating the Boss? Otherwise, the protagonist cannot defeat the Boss? If I write like this, where will your sense of suspense come from?
Everything is a matter of course, everything is directly handing over the outline, so why don't I choose to level up for a year, win the championship in the second year, defend the title in the third year, establish a dynasty in the fourth year, leave in the fifth year, and then start building a dynasty in the sixth year? Such an outline doesn't even require any thought.
And to design a complex and changeable outline, and it can even be said that I have made at least two branch choices for each detailed outline in the next 19 seasons?
Isn't the most attractive thing about a novel this long-lost sense of suspense? It is because of the sense of suspense that you will want to read it, and it is because of the sense of suspense that you will not dare to skip any chapter.
These are some of the techniques I learned from Grandmaster Wu Zei's writing skills sharing, and they are also a kind of inspiration for me in terms of plot. Of course, I am definitely far from being good enough, but at least, I want to work hard to improve and write a better basketball novel.
The back-and-forth battles with strong teams are to tell you the characteristics of the 76ers robbers, and the various layouts and foreshadowing, including the entire plot of fighting the Bulls, are to increase the rationality of the upset.
So in this round of series, I wrote nearly 100,000 words, which is unprecedented, but this season adds up to only 530,000 words, and the length of writing about the Bulls is about 200,000 words.
In fact, I know a lot of your questions. But what I want to tell you is that if the plot is guessed, it will be really boring. Because you already know that the author will write like this, what is your fun? Humorous and funny writing? That is a plus, not a definite item. Good-looking daily life? That is also just a plus item, not a definite item.
At least when A Qiao started writing the book, who would have thought that Su Feng would skip college, who would have thought that Su Feng would defeat Jordan in his rookie season, and the rookie season would be the peak?
And as the story unfolds, how the plot will proceed, how it will be laid out, and how it will be twisted, A Qiao will continue to work hard! And I also hope that all the handsome genuine readers can continue to support A Qiao!
Finally, let me mention that a thousand people have a thousand Hamlets in their eyes. A Qiao cannot write the plot to the satisfaction of everyone. So I can only say... I will work hard, I will try my best!
But now =. =, let's first discuss and help me fill in some details of the next 19 seasons? My brain power is also limited. Let's complete this timeline together. Isn't Su Feng's 20 seasons happy? (Well, actually I just want to copy chapter reviews)
That's all I have to say about the plot design. If I say more, it will become a spoiler.
In short, an unpredictable A Qiao is a good Qiao. In addition, let’s announce the list of winners for Su Feng’s skills. Because the rewards are selected according to the number of likes, the winning skills may not be written into by A Qiao, and some good skills that have not won may not be written into by A Qiao.
First place: Qingfu (35) Second place: Agent Shuping (24), Xiaoshan Manjianghong (22) Third place: Adjudication Knife (18), White Illusion (11), Huang Bei wants to study (9), Xu Yi Wu Yanzu (8). Pi Pi Shrimp will automatically initiate point coins for you.
Okay, finally, as usual, ask for a wave of subscriptions, monthly tickets, recommendation tickets, collections, and rewards!
In addition, I said before that this book has five parts, so at the end of the first part, I will ask for four days off (during the leave, I will maintain 5,000 to 10,000 words of updates every day), because A Qiao has to spend time reorganizing the previous settings after writing each part, I hope everyone can understand.
