Chapter 152: A special weapon
Unedited Chapter. It will be edited soon.

Everyone knows him as the Cursed Blacksmith of the Red Sun Empire, but no one says why they call him that.
The only peculiar thing about him is that he is always working, but seeing how hard he works to create so many things, it is not so unreasonable that he loves working more than sleeping.
Still, Louis would like to know why they call him the cursed blacksmith.
After watching him for a while, Mr. Gon noticed his presence, so he immediately stopped.
"Young sir. What brings you here?" he asked.
"I’ve come to place an order, Mr. Gon," he said, stepping forward to speak to him.
"What is it, young sir? Do you need more bullets?" He was surprised. How was this boy training to use so many bullets in such a short time?
But Louis shook his head. "No, it’s not that. It’s for a weapon I want to create," he said.
"Oh." Mr. Gon immediately became excited and led him to sit at a table specially designed for creating weapon blueprints. "Tell me, young sir. What do you need?" he asked.
Louis smiled and took out a scroll he had made during his nights waiting for a meteorite on that mountain.
"I made a design that I want to see if it is feasible to create," he said and showed it to him.
It was a weapon with a fairly long and thick barrel, with two other slightly shorter barrels. The body was constructed so that it was a heavy and thick weapon.
Just looking at the long barrel, it looked like a submachine gun, but the barrel was too wide, which gave it the appearance of a slightly more explosive weapon.
Even so, what are the other two barrels for?
Many questions entered Lord Gon’s mind, and he couldn’t help but look at Louis.
"Excuse me, young sir, what kind of weapon is that? It doesn’t look like a submachine gun. Is it a grenade launcher?" he asked.
"Its main function will be that of a grenade launcher, which is why it has three barrels. Each one has a different function. Internally, I want the two rear barrels to be lockable so that the weapon can be used as a primary weapon of mass destruction," he said, then pointed out several things.
"See this thick part? Can you put several mechanisms inside it to lock these two side barrels? When locked, it should only allow magic bullets to pass through the larger cannon, so that only its power and range are used," he said.
Mr. Gon nodded. At first, he found it a little strange and even thought it might be impossible to rebuild, but as he explained it and his imagination began to run wild, he began to understand more of what he was seeing.
It wasn’t an impossible design to create, despite the difficulties it presented and how illogical it might sound to allow the bullet to exit through one barrel and not the other. Under certain mechanisms, it was possible to do this.
"Do you want me to use specialized bullets? Or would some large ones work?" he asked, as he wrote down the changes and details Louis mentioned to try to create a correct design.
Louis took out another scroll. "I’ve been reading some books that mention bullet creation very well, so I thought maybe it could work," he said and showed it to him.
The design, rather than a bullet, looked like a nuclear missile from Earth, only in miniature size. It was thick beyond limits.
It was specifically designed to withstand the type of magic used in his new concept. A type of bullet that could be incredibly destructive, not only because of its size, but also because of the extreme magic contained within it.
And Mr. Gon, although surprised by his ability to create them in this way and make them seem logical, agreed with him on this. That bullet could be created, although it would be difficult.
"Mass production of that will be complicated. But I’ll make a design on a blueprint and send it to you for approval before I start working on the gun and bullets, okay?" he asked.
"All right, Mr. Gon," said Louis, standing up. "In that case, I’ll wait for your message."
"Very well, young sir. I’ll see you later, then. I’ll be working on the weapon."
Louis then returned to Jessy’s company, where she had already finished work. Although he had other things to attend to, he decided to schedule appointments for the following day, because it was too late and they both returned together.
They chatted all the way and she told him about the situation at the company, the problems, and several other important things, such as the deal she had reached with the nobleman from Línnava.
They talked a lot until it was time to go to sleep.
The hours fly by when you have things to keep you entertained.
The next day, Louis decided to take the day off to investigate something.
In his room, while drinking coffee and eating some sweets that Jessy had made in the morning, he checked his system.
Now, in each section of the system, there was one unlocked padlock out of three. That told him that he hadn’t improved his system yet, but at least he was starting to improve it.
He was interested in knowing when he would get the next mission to unlock the second lock, but he focused on what was already in front of him.
The Book of Magic of the Ancient Empire.
There was no information about this Ancient Empire, except for what was found on the first 50 floors of the Tower, so this book should be interesting to read.
When he opened the book of magic, he realized it was like a grimoire, but poorly written and extremely complex.
It contained information about ancient magic that gave him a headache just reading the explanations, which seemed to be taken from a different language, translated with some strange automatic translator, while trying to explain a complex mathematical subject.
It was more difficult to understand than the Arkanometric Weaves.
Still, there seemed to be some history between the lines.
A story from the distant past.
Emperor Syr, who ruled the Ancient Empire for approximately 150 years in the 750s of the Ancient Empire, was one of the most knowledgeable magicians of his time and participated in the creation of this magical grimoire, providing the world with real magical understanding.
All the races under his command benefited during his reign.
That was all Louis could glean about this emperor, although there might have been more between the lines, but he had to make more accurate translations of the book or perhaps study it better and read it carefully several times to understand it.
Now, the magic...
"It’s too complex," he thought, frowning as he tried to understand the weaves presented to him.
They were so difficult that he even thought they were impossible to perform.
Can a Thread do this? Or were these spells created with a different system?
The explanations were not simple either.
He read, trying to translate as logically as possible:
-Among the magical flows of the disturbed mind, lies hidden the formation of disturbance, blood, fluids, and the construct through which it travels. Tranquility allows the symbol of greatness to be presented, toward the mysterious formation of the body and its tissues, represented through magic.
Being one of the most comprehensible texts he had read, he could find no logic in what he was seeing.
It was confusing to the core, and the formation of the tissues was too strange; they seemed to use a completely different concept.
Even so, he had seen two things that caught his attention: They called the Body, Living Magic. They called the Tissues different names, but among the most commonly used was "Symbol of Greatness" (the only thing he could understand from the previous text).
It was possible that the same magic, for them, was alive.
Now, how the hell was this possible? He had no idea.
While he was so confused and slightly disappointed, yet increasingly intrigued, he suddenly frowned and his mind traveled to the very recent past.
He remembered that Hardrial had mentioned the complexity of the Tejiddo used by the tower.
"...It looks very similar," he thought and frowned.
He closed his eyes and tried to memorize the weave that had teleported him to the tower. It was the same as the previous two times. In one, he thought it was too complex to understand right now, and in the other, with more magical knowledge, he realized that it was almost impossible to form.
Now that he understood much better how weaves were constructed, he found it even more impossible!
But... they were very similar to the weaves presented in this book. The complexity of both weaves lay in the fact that many threads seemed to turn impossibly and yet still function.
Of course, the magic of teleportation was absurdly difficult to perform and only something that seems impossible can achieve it, but then, what does the Tower of the Red Sun have to do with the Ancient Empire?
If the magic it uses is present in a book from the Ancient Empire, does that mean that in the distant past, there was an empire powerful enough to create such complex magic and achieve absurd things, such as teleportation and other similar feats?
With this need arising within him, he immediately looked at the book once more and began to read.
He had completely forgotten about the snacks at this point.
