Behind them, the Son of the Sun’s roar thundered. Chen Nuo, while running, looked back and couldn’t help but say, "That fat old man is a good guy..."
"As a Controller, the Son of the Sun would never be as shameless as you!" Vanel immediately retorted.

They saw the Son of the Sun’s figure reach the spider, suddenly shoot up more than ten meters, then fly over the spider’s head, speeding towards the north!

The giant spider raised its head and let out a piercing scream!
Right then, BOOM! The entire mountain seemed to be flipped inside out by some internal force!
The giant spider, struck by this force, tumbled from the mountain. Upon hitting the ground, it crushed a number of smaller spiders to dust. Its massive body even flipped over, belly up, its eight long limbs flailing wildly!
And from the shattered mountain, a figure leaped out quickly!
Blond hair, a sharp mercenary jungle combat suit, and an automatic rifle in hand – aimed at the sky, RATATATATA, firing a burst of bullets!
"Vanel!! Are you guys here?!"
Vanel’s eyes widened. "Selena?!"
After the female mercenary shouted, she took in the sight of the world around her. Spotting the massive spider flipped on its back and thrashing nearby, she was clearly startled. She reflexively gripped the trigger of her automatic rifle tighter...

An entire magazine was emptied in an instant.
At that moment, a pudgy hand reached out from behind and forcefully pulled Selena to the side.
A plump figure and a chubby face emerged from behind Selena. Clad in a dirty jungle suit, her plump body was none other than Sato Ryoko!
This corpulent woman glanced around and then called out in a booming voice.
"Ah! You’re all here!"
Vanel and Bonfrey were stunned.
Then, Sato Ryoko frowned and asked, "Have you seen my husband?"
Vanel and Bonfrey: "...???"
Vanel was particularly dumbfounded. "Miss Ryoko, your husband... who are you talking about..."
Impatience flashed across Sato Ryoko’s face as she gave Vanel a fierce glare.
"Sato Ryoko" coldly swept her gaze over them again.

Bonfrey was the quickest to react!

"I’m fine... Davarishi." Chen Nuo said with a wry smile, looking at the woman in the distance whose gaze was now intertwined with his. He felt a mix of emotions.
Watching the figure of Sato Ryoko enveloped by lightning chains, Chen Nuo swallowed hard.
Though shocked, Chen Nuo still managed a bitter smile as he patted Vanel. "Alright, if I’m not mistaken... the husband she’s talking about should be me."
Saying so, Chen Nuo wore a helpless smile and gave a gentle wave to Sato Ryoko, his expression complex and slightly uncertain as he ventured,
"Hello, wife... uh... is that really you?"
Sato Ryoko stared at Chen Nuo, narrowing her eyes.

Without a word, she grabbed her hair and gave it a fierce tug, pulling off a large chunk of padding and hair!
Revealing a mass of black, seaweed-like long hair!
And that vibrantly beautiful face!

Chen Nuo’s first thought wasn’t the giant spider still struggling on the ground. Nor was it about any damned Mother! The first thought that came to his mind was... I freaking flirted with Selena on the way! Twice!!! I even freaking suggested we have a wild time in the jungle!!! Though it was for the sake of disguise... but... holy crap, Lu Xixi saw it all!!!
