Chapter 305 Extra III Gu Yun Cheng's Monologue (1)

My name is Gu Yuncheng, and I am the youngest Demon Emperor in the demon realm.

My father was the previous Demon Emperor. After ruling for over fifty thousand years, he abdicated to me because thirty thousand years ago, a strange race emerged outside the six realms, cultivating spiritual energy by consuming physical bodies, souls, lifespan, vitality, and more. They were poised to invade my demon realm.

My father led our troops to quell the rebellion and discovered their cultivation speed was astonishing, achieved through consumption, though with certain limitations. Even so, they were formidable opponents. My father, along with a large contingent of demon soldiers, remained stationed there.

This peculiar race was brutal and consumed indiscriminately, regardless of whether they were friend or foe. As they originated from beyond the six domains of the six realms, people in the six realms referred to them as Outer Realm Heavenly Demons. To be frank, the Heavenly Demon clan in the demon realm was displeased with this appellation, but it was of no use.

Returning to the matter at hand, my father was engaged with the Outer Realm Heavenly Demons beyond the realm and could not return. However, the demon realm could not be left unattended, so he abdicated. As his only son, I naturally succeeded him. Thus, I became the youngest Demon Emperor in the history of the demon realm. kuAiδugg

Because of my young age, some of my 'elders' were insubordinate. They dared not act openly, resorting to clandestine schemes. Despite my utmost caution, there were always oversights. I was carelessly poisoned, my cultivation sealed, and I was forced to flee to the human realm in my true form.

Due to the animosity between the human and demon realms, the human realm did not accept those from the demon realm. While those 'elders' did not fear the human realm, they were concerned about incurring the displeasure of the other four realms. Therefore, they did not dare to enter the human realm to search for me, allowing me time to recover.

However, I never expected that after I fainted from exhaustion and awoke, I would see a small human girl holding a dagger, attempting to stab me in the head. The girl seemed momentarily surprised when I awoke, then proceeded to draw a new dagger, intending to kill me. Unfortunately for her, I was unharmed, though she managed to destroy quite a few of her daggers.

I realized this human girl was unusual. Her left eye was blood-red, a color I had only seen in bloodthirsty demons and among the demon race. She showed signs of demonization, yet she cultivated the path of immortality.

As I pondered this, the girl abandoned her attempt to kill me. Looking at the scattered dagger fragments, I surmised the reason she stopped. She likely believed my physical body was incredibly resilient, unaware that her daggers were of too low a grade. Even with my cultivation sealed, they could not penetrate my defenses.

The little girl turned and left without a word. Yet, I suddenly became curious about her. She was only about ten years old. Most children her age were just beginning their cultivation, but hers had already reached the Spirit King realm!

While such cultivation would ordinarily not catch my eye, she was human. Furthermore, her gaze and aura were unlike those of ordinary human children. I wanted to know the reason, so I pestered her. It seemed I annoyed her, as she suddenly attacked me. Every move was a killing blow. If not for her low cultivation and the low grade of her weapons, I might have truly died at the hands of a human child.

I continued to pester the little girl. Unable to drive me away, she could only tolerate my presence.

I had been with the little girl for some time when I realized why she possessed such extraordinary cultivation at such a young age. It was because she was incredibly adept at getting into trouble, and without cultivation, she would have been beaten to death. She was also quite resilient; several times I thought she was going to die, yet she miraculously survived.

The longer I stayed with the little girl, the more I realized she seemed like a trained assassin. She was silent, emotionless, her killing moves were fierce, and she was ruthless with herself. I became increasingly curious about her background and experiences, wondering which parents could be so heartless as to raise such a beautiful little girl in this manner. Unfortunately, no matter how I asked, the girl ignored me as if I were invisible.

The girl's talent was immense, but her desperate fighting spirit was even greater. In less than two years, she was able to break through planes and reach the Azure Continent. The catalyst for this was being pursued by powerful cultivators of the same level on the continent. There were too many of them, and despite her strength, she couldn't defeat them. She then communicated with heaven and earth, breaking through planes, but was severely injured in the process. Had she not encountered the Human realm's Sacred Maiden of Medicine, she would likely have perished.

Watching her proud figure, clinging to life by a thread, I realized that at some point, this girl had entered my heart. Ironically, all I knew about her was that her surname was Ling.

The girl had already ascended to the upper realm, and those who pursued her were swept away by the heavenly tribulation of her advancement, leaving none alive.

It took me a great deal of effort to find her on the Azure Continent. She seemed to be very fond of the Sacred Maiden of Medicine. Although she had known the maiden for a shorter time, she treated her better than she treated me. It was through the maiden that I learned her name: Ling Luoyi. A beautiful name.

After Luo Luo's injuries had completely healed, she left the Sacred Hall, and I continued to follow her. Her cultivation was always diligent, and her power steadily increased. Simultaneously, our feelings began to blossom and grow. It must be said, I am grateful to the Sacred Maiden of Medicine, otherwise, Luo Luo would not have discovered her feelings for me. We had not yet confessed our feelings to each other. It was only after she reached Spirit Transformation Island that she suddenly cured my poison, and it was then that I realized she also loved me.

Later, my father and mother returned from the outer realm. As Luo Luo had been unhappy recently, I brought her back to the demon realm. It was in the demon realm that we confessed our feelings. My father was very supportive, but my mother felt Luo Luo was too young and feared she might be deceived by me, thus opposing our union. Luo Luo voluntarily assured her that she was willing, and only then did my mother agree.

Luo Luo got along very well with my father, mother, and sister. On Luo Luo's account, I also agreed to foster good relations with the human realm. Life was proceeding peacefully until it was disrupted by a gift from my sister.

My sister, thinking Luo Luo's crimson eyes were due to her liking for the color red, prepared a magnificent red gown as a surprise. However, upon seeing the dress, Luo Luo lost control and began attacking indiscriminately. The fault was mine, as I knew Luo Luo disliked red but forgot to inform my sister, turning her good intentions into a disaster.

At that moment, Luo Luo's energy sphere was about to hit my sister. My sister, startled by Luo Luo's sudden outburst, forgot to dodge. I couldn't bear to see her harmed, nor did I wish to harm Luo Luo, so I stepped between them, offering no defense.

My soul trembled from the impact and left lingering consequences. However, Luo Luo did regain her senses. What she did afterward, I don't know. The next day, I noticed her personality had changed considerably, and her crimson left eye had returned to its usual dark pupil.

Later, Luo Luo returned to Spirit Transformation Island to continue her cultivation. I, on the other hand, was busy with matters concerning the human and demon realms and could not accompany her. When I saw her again, she had become the Sacred Warrior of Medicine in the human realm and had already cultivated divine bones.

I knew what cultivating divine bones directly implied. I couldn't believe it.
