Yue Liang raised his hand, and a cascade of rosy light descended from the sky, resembling five-colored petals, swirling in his palm. The rosy light was then absorbed into his palm along the edges of each petal.
"Golden Flower Four Symbols!"
Yue Liang flung his hand upwards. His palm instantly bloomed with radiant light, a vortex of stripes in its center, stirring up a gale that dispersed the clouds and mist in the entire space.
The people below staggered, their footing unsteady, swaying and toppling.
The Heavenly Emperor formed a hand seal, and the light wheels around his body began to spin again. The five-colored petals extended, making contact with the light wheels. The two forces tore at each other, clashing and intertwining, their energies shattering and splashing in a dazzling, disorienting display of colors.
The onlookers could only see two blurred figures enveloped in a brilliant radiance. The light surrounding the two figures intertwined, interlocking like two wild beasts locked in a fierce, unyielding struggle.
After a moment of clashing light, their divine energies permeated each other. Both felt the oppressive force of the other, as if sharp blades were slicing their skin, inflicting a pain so piercing it forced them to cease their collision.
With a deafening roar, their figures shot out from a cloud of shattered light energy.
The entire sky transformed into a world of fiery trees and silver flowers.
Fireworks filled the sky, reaching the peak of their splendor.
The two figures weaved through the colorful fireworks, colliding at times, separating at others. Their afterimages darted like shuttles. Though only two individuals, their combat resembled that of thousands of soldiers, a dizzying spectacle that left observers breathless.
Meanwhile, below the sky, the battle raged fiercely, even brutally.
The entire mountain wilderness was a river of blood, littered with corpses. A group of mangled figures tore at each other like beasts.
The people formed a circle, enclosing Mo Qi within, an impenetrable barrier.
Wang's forces relentlessly charged forward, their light and shadows intermingling. The human wall wavered precariously but never fell. Even if a section collapsed at a particular moment, others immediately filled the gap.
Within the human wall, the Island Lords and Star Lords stood on the outermost layer, bearing the brunt of the pressure.
All external attacks first met them. At this moment, the poison they had ingested raged within their bodies, tearing at their internal organs like swords. Some bled from their noses and eyes.
All the Island Lords and Star Lords had abandoned any hope of survival, resolved to die. They engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the Wang forces.
Fortunately, mechanical beasts patrolled the perimeter, disrupting Wang's ranks and reducing the impact of their assault on the human wall.
Little Dot, the Bloodied Man, the Golden Flood Dragon Scissors, and the Fire Demon also fought on the periphery, depleting much of Wang's combat strength.
These mechanical beasts were the result of Mo Qi's rigorous refinement and countless improvements. Their bodies were fused with the hides of numerous high-level demonic beasts, rendering them impervious to ordinary divine abilities.
Furthermore, they felt no pain and would not cease their charge regardless of bodily harm. Even if one managed to land a blow, if they failed to incapacitate them, they could not afford a moment's respite.
Humans, however, once injured, would feel pain, their combat effectiveness would diminish, and they would become vulnerable to counter-attacks until they were killed.
At this juncture, the Bloodied Man became an invincible force on the battlefield. As he charged through Wang's ranks, wherever he passed, blood mist would spread without him needing to lift a finger. A sea of blood surged, dissolving the Wang forces.
After a circuitous charge around the periphery, the Bloodied Man found it rather dull. Seeing Mo Qi surrounded, a sense of mission surged within him, and he immediately charged towards the crowd.
Under the relentless attacks of Yin Wang and his subordinates, several Island Lords and Star Lords were killed, causing the human wall to loosen.
Yin Wang rejoiced. He leaped forward, charging towards the breach.
A thousand-mile dike can collapse from an ant's nest. Once a breach appeared in the human wall, it threatened to crumble for miles.
Yin Wang's gaze fell upon Mo Qi, and his heart swelled with delight. He believed Mo Qi was doomed.
At this moment, the Bloodied Man arrived and spat a mouthful of blood towards Yin Wang. The blood splattered in the air, churning and leaping, transforming into a vast sea of blood that poured down in an instant.
"A mere trick!"
Yin Wang slapped his chest. A figure erupted from his body, followed by another with another slap. In the blink of an eye, countless figures converged before him, forming a colossal phantom. The colossal phantom extended a massive palm and struck the air, shattering the sea of blood. Countless blood droplets and splashes scattered through the air.
The splashing blood continued to spread and permeate the air.
The phantom then extended its giant palm towards the Bloodied Man.
The phantom was once again enveloped in golden light, radiating immense pressure that spread in all directions.
Infinite spiritual energy was released prematurely, distorting the Bloodied Man's body.
"Little thing, I'll crush you!" Yin Wang roared.
Following his words, the phantom's giant palm continued to descend upon the Bloodied Man.
The Bloodied Man's body was incredibly agile. Suddenly, he slipped from between the phantom's fingers.
Instead, the Bloodied Man charged towards Yin Wang's true form.
Yin Wang was greatly alarmed. He formed a hand seal, and another phantom emerged from his body, colliding with the Bloodied Man. The phantom then spewed out countless fine needles, dense and impenetrable, piercing the Bloodied Man all over. The Bloodied Man exploded, his body dissolving into blood water that splashed everywhere.
"You dare to fight me! Little thing, you're courting death!" Yin Wang clapped his hands, turned, and continued towards the breach.
However, as he looked up, the entire world was engulfed in a blood-red hue, a sea of blood stretching from the heavens to the earth.
Countless pairs of blood-red eyes blinked in the sky.
What kind of shoddy technique is this?
Yin Wang was furious and stomped his foot. The colossal phantom trembled and split into myriad smaller phantoms, which shot out in all directions. From those eyes, countless blood swords spewed forth, striking the smaller phantoms, shattering them into dust and dissipating them.
Yin Wang continued to generate phantoms, only for each to be shattered.
Moreover, countless blood swords attacked his true form. Yin Wang had no choice but to form hand seals, creating shields of light to block the blood swords, preventing him from being harmed for the moment.
However, maintaining this defensive posture was not a solution. He needed to find a way to break through to complete his mission.
He was acutely aware that he had fallen into one of the opponent's mystical traps.
At this moment, a voice echoed through the air: "The myriad tribulations are approaching. Chimei Wangliang shall be reborn!"
What nonsensical words?
Yin Wang was incensed. "Wang Sheng Slash!"
He formed a blade with his hand and slashed downwards through the air.
A colossal blade shadow appeared in mid-air, spanning the horizon. Then, with a single strike, the light blade tore through the sky.
A few rays of light pierced through, tearing open the blood-red expanse.
The gap widened, and then the entire space collapsed with a roar. Yin Wang's figure immediately shot through.
Simultaneously, the Bloodied Man's figure reappeared before him, spraying a sea of blood at him.
Yin Wang was enraged, hopping with fury. After dodging, he again formed a blade with his hand and slashed through the air, cleaving the Bloodied Man into pieces.
The Bloodied Man then transformed into a blood mist space, trapping Yin Wang within.
Yin Wang was furious. "This is endless."
Seeing the opponent so weak, yet impossible to destroy, and clinging to him like a stubborn stain, was maddening.
Finally, Yin Wang went mad with rage. He threw his head back and laughed, his hair disheveled, and departed.
Jin Wang found it inexplicable. He pursued for a while but couldn't catch up, watching helplessly as he escaped.
