Chapter 30 Does Dad Like Aunt Su Ding?

Jin Ye remained silent, lifting his eyelids to exchange a brief glance with Su Ding, then turned his gaze to Jin Xiaoxi.

Jin Xiaoxi looked at his father with confusion, taking a few seconds to react.

"Dad?"

"It's nothing." Jin Ye lowered his eyes, his voice deep.

"Oh," Jin Xiaoxi turned to Su Ding, a smile on his face, "Auntie, you should try this crispy fish too, it's delicious."

"Okay," Su Ding picked one up and slowly savored it.

Her peripheral vision unintentionally met the man's gaze again as he "happened" to look up.

Jin Ye immediately turned his face away, his cheeks growing warm.

This obviously flustered action was noticed by Xiaoxi, who widened his small mouth in surprise, recalling it blankly.

When had his father ever reacted like this?

Suddenly, a light bulb flickered on in his mind!

Could it be that Dad liked Aunt Su Ding?

"Auntie, could you pass me the red wine? I want to pour some for Dad."

Jin Xiaoxi pointed to the expensive imported wine on the dining table.

Su Ding then noticed that Jin Ye's wine glass was already empty.

Thinking about the expensive necklace Jin Ye had given her that morning, and how he allowed someone of her status to be close to Xiaoxi, she felt a sense of gratitude.

"Xiaoxi, Auntie will do it."

She stood up, picked up the wine bottle, and poured wine into Jin Ye's glass.

The red liquid poured into the glass with a crisp sound. The mellow aroma of the red wine mingled with the faint, fresh scent from Su Ding, creating an alluring and intoxicating atmosphere.

Unconsciously, Jin Ye's body tensed.

After pouring the wine, Su Ding poured a glass for herself and toasted Jin Ye, "Mr. Jin, thank you for letting me know Xiaoxi."

With that, she drained the glass.

Jin Ye's eyes narrowed as he looked at the beautiful face and alluring red lips of the woman before him, his gaze growing even more profound.

Soon, he also drank his glass of wine.

Although the alcohol content of this bottle was not high, his mind surprisingly became hazy and disoriented.

After the meal, the three of them left the restaurant.

"Dad, I want to watch a movie," Jin Xiaoxi looked up at Jin Ye with anticipation.

Jin Ye paused. They had a private home theater, and this child had never liked going to public cinemas. Was the sun rising from the west today?

Jin Xiaoxi secretly winked at him.

Jin Ye frowned, not understanding.

Su Ding was still preoccupied with the paternity test report and hadn't noticed their exchange.

"Auntie, shall we go together?"

"Why don't you..." Su Ding's words were cut short by the man beside her saying, "Let's go, get in the car."

Before she had a chance to refuse, she was already in the car.

"Fasten your seatbelt."

A deep voice sounded near her ear. Seeing the man sitting beside her with a serious expression, she quickly buckled her seatbelt.

The driver stepped on the accelerator, and the car sped away...

At the cinema waiting area.

Jin Ye went to buy tickets, while Su Ding, holding a large bucket of popcorn, sat down with Jin Xiaoxi.

Behind them, the soft, cooing voice of a woman could faintly be heard...

"After this movie, let's not contact each other for a while. It wouldn't be good if the old man found out."

"I know, darling, but I can't bear to be apart from you."

"Alright, be good. The sports car I ordered for you last week will arrive tomorrow. Go pick it up yourself, and make sure Linlin doesn't find out..."

Su Ding was all too familiar with this voice.

It was Wang Meilan, who had brought Shao Lin into the Shao family back then, completely captivating her father and leading him to abandon his wife and child.

And now, she was intimately close with a young-looking man...

Su Ding's lips curled into a cold smile.

Clearly, she was not surprised by the scene before her.

She just hadn't expected Fu Qing, whom she had specifically placed in the Shao family, to capture Wang Meilan's heart so quickly, and to the point where she was willing to buy him a sports car.

She wondered what her father's reaction would be if he knew about this.

Su Ding didn't want to confront Wang Meilan for now, to avoid any conflict and to prevent Xiaoxi from being frightened.

She then took out her phone and sent a message.

The young man's phone behind her immediately vibrated. Immediately after, she heard him say, "Darling, will you go to the restroom with me?"

Wang Meilan chuckled and chided him.

Soon, the two of them got up and left, still entwined. As they were about to exit, the young man turned his head and looked over.

Su Ding raised her eyes and met his gaze.

Both of them wore knowing smiles, nodded, and then the man left.

Jin Xiaoxi looked up and happened to see Su Ding and the man exchange a glance.

"Auntie?"

He felt a strange sensation, as if the Aunt Su Ding he saw now was not the gentle one he remembered.

Just then, Jin Ye walked over.

Seeing the young and old looking up at him simultaneously, he was unexpectedly struck by how similar Xiaoxi and Su Ding looked from certain angles.

"There are ten minutes before we can go in."

With that, he dragged a stool and sat down at the small round table in front of Su Ding and Jin Xiaoxi.

Su Ding offered him some snacks.

Jin Ye glanced at them and said calmly, "No need, you two eat."

"Oh," Su Ding retracted her hand and continued to feed Jin Xiaoxi.

At that moment, a young man ran over and stopped beside Jin Ye.

"Excuse me for disturbing you, but that young lady asked me to give you this note."

As he said this, he pointed in a direction.

Indeed, a young and pretty girl was smiling and waving at Jin Ye.

Jin Ye merely glanced at her and turned his head away, ignoring her.

The young man looked a bit embarrassed, placed the note down, but didn't leave. "Sir, that young lady said she wanted to get to know you."

Jin Xiaoxi took the note and opened it.

There was a lip print, a string of numbers, and a smiley face.

Su Ding was right beside him and could see it clearly.

This was obviously an attempt to flirt with Jin Ye. Looking at Jin Ye, he seemed as if he hadn't heard anything, continuing to look down at his phone.

"Sir?"

"Brother! Please tell that sister that it's shameful to ruin other people's family happiness. My dad and mom have a very good relationship and don't need new friends!"

Jin Xiaoxi crumpled the note into a ball and threw it into the trash can at his feet.

The young man's face turned red. He had already said that they looked like a family, but his junior schoolmate insisted he ask. It was truly embarrassing!

"I'm sorry!"

With that, the young man turned and left.

Seeing that Su Ding wanted to say something, Jin Xiaoxi immediately ran over and hugged her, "Auntie, I wish you were my mom."

Su Ding's words were blocked.

She sighed inwardly, wishing it were so...

Jin Ye's eyebrows rose at this, and he glanced at Jin Xiaoxi.

Buried in Su Ding's arms, Jin Xiaoxi became even more determined to get his dad and Auntie together.

Little Rui looked so much like his dad, she must be his sister!

Aunt Su Ding was so kind, she must be his mom!

Even if not, he would strive to make it a reality!
