This book, "Three Kingdoms: From Hidden Dragon to Great Wei Overlord," has been quite successful.
This is my first time truly writing on Qidian.
Therefore, I am very content and satisfied with the current achievements (4000 average subscriptions), and this is inseparable from the support of all you readers.
Now, regarding future plans…
As many readers can tell, "Hidden Dragon" has entered the latter half of the book. It is currently 2.6 million characters long, and the original plan was for 3.5 million characters. Calculating this, it’s about the right length.
So, in the past few days, I’ve been thinking a lot…
What to write after "Hidden Dragon"?
I’ve made some attempts in between, such as starting an alternate history novel, but it flopped completely!
After much consideration, I’ve decided to continue writing in the familiar Three Kingdoms theme, and I’ve provisionally planned for a "Hidden Dragon Trilogy."
Three consecutive books, all about the Three Kingdoms!
This book is "Hidden Dragon," the next will be "Latent Dragon," and the last one will be "Candle Dragon"… I’ll keep the deeper meaning of this a secret for now!
As for the content of this trilogy?
Following the timeline, "Three Kingdoms: From Hidden Dragon to Great Wei Overlord" begins in 192 AD (Cao Cao taking over Yan Province) and ends in 220 AD (Battle of Xiangfan). It tells the stories of the most familiar Cao Cao, Xun Yu, Cai Zhaoji, and the protagonist!
The newly opened book, "Three Kingdoms: Buried Alive at the Start, Emperor Ling Helps Me Ascend the Throne," according to the outline, starts in 178 AD and ends in 192 AD! It tells the stories of the young Cao Cao, Cai Yong, Liu Bei, Sun Jian, and others causing trouble with the protagonist.
As for this title, please don’t criticize… it’s for attracting readers. I originally wanted to call it "Three Kingdoms: From Latent Dragon to Great Han Overlord," but it felt awkward.
Regarding the content, it’s a story where the protagonist initially wants to stick with Cao Cao, only to discover later that he himself is the thickest thigh to cling to.
The characters within are still familiar to you all.
Especially Emperor Ling of Han, yes… the emperor who made palace maids wear open-crotch pants, he’s actually quite interesting… and quite helpless!
After this book…
The current plan is for the last book of the "Hidden Dragon Trilogy," which is "Candle Dragon"!
This is inspired by the recent popular drama "The Wind Blows from Longxi," and I plan to write a Three Kingdoms spy thriller. I won’t reveal the specific content for now… I’ll finish the current two books, "Hidden Dragon" and "Latent Dragon," first!
Well then…
I still hope all you handsome and dashing readers will give me your support!
I can only say that for this "Hidden Dragon" book, as a newcomer to Qidian, I didn’t write well in many places… nor did I fully grasp the readers’ tastes. For the second book of the trilogy, "Latent Dragon," I’ve researched a large amount of material… and the story’s excitement level has been upgraded to a new stage.
Enough of the preamble…
