Chapter 977: The Grand Hotel

Chapter 977: Chapter 977: The Grand Hotel

"You always think I lack sincerity, right? Follow me, I’ll show you my sincerity."

"Oh!"

Li Feng responded, watching Zhao Xiaohui turn away with a cold elegance, and he smirked inwardly. This woman sure knows how to play her role.

She’s even posing as cold and aloof.

To be honest, when this woman dresses up and acts all aloof, it really makes one feel an urge to make a move.

She does have quite the figure.

Li Feng followed Zhao Xiaohui, directly took the elevator down, and exited the hotel lobby. At that moment, a red luxury car flashed its high beams as it approached them, stopping right in front of them.

The car door opened, and a parking valet stepped out.

"Miss Zhao, your car."

"Hmm."

Zhao Xiaohui turned to Li Feng: "Feeling challenged?"

Li Feng smiled lightly. Is this some kind of test?

"Of course."

Without further ado, Li Feng rounded the front of the car and got into the driver’s seat, while Zhao Xiaohui opened the door and sat beside him.

"We’re heading directly to the Wanjin Hotel."

Zhao Xiaohui fastened her seatbelt and turned to Li Feng: "Do you know the way?"

Li Feng glanced at Zhao Xiaohui, wondering if she was being intentional or just testing him.

"I roughly know, seems it’s not far."

"You drive, I’ll guide you," Zhao Xiaohui said as she brushed back a strand of hair from her forehead.

"Alright."

Li Feng agreed, stepped on the gas, and the engine roared with a low growl. Zhao Xiaohui furrowed her brows slightly as she looked at Li Feng.

"Are you sure you know how to drive?"

"Don’t force it, after all, it’s not embarrassing not to know how to drive. People like you usually have chauffeurs, right?"

Li Feng smirked.

"Hold tight, I drive a bit aggressively."

Zhao Xiaohui pursed her lips. Bringing out a luxury car indeed seems like a test; rich people don’t necessarily know how to drive sports cars, but most less wealthy individuals wouldn’t know how to handle them.

Sports cars are quite different from regular cars.

Li Feng shifted gears, floored the gas pedal, and the luxury car shot forward like a red arrow. The powerful acceleration pushed Zhao Xiaohui back into her seat.

"You...!"

Zhao Xiaohui wanted to ask Li Feng if he really knew how to drive, starting off so aggressively like he intended to crash.

But in the next second, Li Feng’s hands and feet moved swiftly.

With a swift 180-degree drift, he entered the main road from the hotel junction, the engine growling with power as the speed quickly reached 100 km/h within seconds.

The Wanjin Hotel wasn’t far from where Li Feng was staying, just a couple of blocks away, totaling a bit over a kilometer.

With a dash across three junctions, Li Feng arrived at the entrance of the Wanjin Hotel in under a minute.

"How’s my driving?"

Li Feng turned to look at Zhao Xiaohui, whose face was ashen. She pushed open the car door, taking a deep breath of air.

Is this guy even driving?

He was practically risking their lives.

Just changing hotels for a meal, and he had to go at breakneck speeds.

Zhao Xiaohui patted her chest, calming herself down before turning to see Li Feng, who had rounded the car to approach her, and gave him a pointed look.

He was definitely doing it on purpose.

"There are quite a few security guards at Wanjin."

Li Feng glanced at the hotel entrance, noting at least seven or eight guards stationed both inside and outside. Zhao Xiaohui made an ’hmph’ noise, straightening up and regaining some of her aloof demeanor.

"Stay with me, no one will stop you."

Li Feng nodded, stepping forward to walk alongside Zhao Xiaohui towards the entrance of the Wanjin Hotel. The guards glanced at Zhao Xiaohui, then at Li Feng, but none stepped forward to stop them.

Zhao Xiaohui led Li Feng directly into the hotel lobby: "I’ve already checked you out of that hotel, I’ve arranged for you to stay at the Wanjin Hotel. Of course, you’ll need to check in at the reception."

"Will you have any problems?"

"No problems."

Li Feng followed Zhao Xiaohui to the reception desk to check in.

"Miss Zhao, it seems you have some status in the Longevity Sect, but...!" Li Feng took the room card, walked with Zhao Xiaohui towards the elevator shaft, and turned to ask.

Zhao Xiaohui turned back and replied.

"Are you wondering why I’d come personally to sell invitations?"

"Hmm?"

Zhao Xiaohui looked at Li Feng and said, "As a disciple of the Longevity Sect, naturally, we do what we can for the Dharma Conference. Every attendee of the conference is a follower of our sect; guiding them is precisely what we disciples should be doing."

Li Feng acknowledged with an "Oh."

Zhao Xiaohui definitely wouldn’t admit that developing clients like this, expanding their network, and earning Contribution Value is also a key indicator for internal advancement in the Longevity Sect.

The number of connections directly determines one’s status in the sect, and these connections can be traded.

The Dharma Conference essentially serves as a networking platform.

Suppose you want to accomplish something, but lack the necessary connections, what do you do?

Then you’d think of the Longevity Sect.

But not every disciple has a vast network; everyone has their connections. This way, through networking exchanges, they can all succeed.

Everyone ultimately benefits mutually.

This is the core of the Dharma Conference and the foundation upon which the Longevity Sect continues to grow and expand.

Naturally, to establish oneself, one needs connections for support, and attracting clients and developing them into personal connections is a compulsory lesson for disciples.

Zhao Xiaohui approached people to expand her network but unexpectedly caught a big fish with her wide net this time.

According to the rules, whoever makes first contact owns that connection, which is why Zhao Xiaohui even took off her clothes and was willing to sleep to secure it.

If she landed a billionaire, she’d gain unimaginable benefits.

Moreover, sleeping with a multibillionaire who also happens to be quite handsome is also a kind of conquest.

Who says only men conquering women is considered conclusive?

Women can conquer too.

Ding.

The elevator door opened.

Zhao Xiaohui stepped out: "This is Wanjin Hotel’s most renowned rooftop restaurant, currently only serving a select few VIPs. Without certain status, you aren’t qualified to enter."

"Do you see that person over there?"

Li Feng followed Zhao Xiaohui’s gaze.

"You better not tell me you don’t recognize them."

"Lin Bingbing."

Li Feng squinted and said.

"Exactly, the double award-winning actress of Yan Country; her standing in the entertainment industry needs no explanation, right?"

"Do you know who the man opposite her is?"

Zhao Xiaohui turned to speak again.

"Are you testing me?"

Li Feng smiled, looking at Zhao Xiaohui, who turned and gazed at Li Feng: "Of course not, aren’t you all from the same circle?"
