Chapter 917: Chapter 917: I’ll Give You a Choice

Li Feng turned and left the Wang Family, leaving a ground full of diamonds, and as for his father-in-law’s roar, Li Feng took it as a breeze past his ears.

The Wang Family may be large, but it is not the Wang Family of one person. His father-in-law’s obsession is something Li Feng understands, but understanding is one thing, his father-in-law can only represent the Wang Family, but he is not the Wang Family.

Perhaps his father-in-law, in a fit of anger, would not listen to him, but after he leaves, his father-in-law would surely come to a decision once he calms down.

After all, with age comes wisdom, especially a father-in-law managing a large Wang Family, he is certainly no ordinary person.

After leaving the Wang Family, Li Feng came to the Myth Communication Company, a PR firm handed over to him by the Wang Family.

Even though Li Feng has always been a hands-off boss and has hardly managed, Jiang Linda and Su Yuqing, who are in charge of the company, are quite capable and run the company’s internal and external affairs independently.

"Oh!"

Recently promoted to administrative supervisor, Chu Shiyu was surprised when she bumped into Li Feng coming in from outside.

"Boss, what brings you to work!"

Li Feng looked at Chu Shiyu, dressed in professional attire, showcasing her competent nature, which was quite different from when she used to be just a pretty face at the front desk.

"Boss!"

Feeling shy under Li Feng’s gaze, Chu Shiyu hugged the documents to her chest.

"Not bad, you seem like a professional white-collar elite now. Are Jiang Linda and Su Yuqing here?" Li Feng asked.

"Yes, President Su is in, but President Jiang is at a nearby café discussing business with someone."

"Call her to come back."

Having said that, Li Feng went straight back to his office. Giving the New Century Group to Wang Jin’er was naturally a calculated decision by Li Feng. Whether giving a large stack of shares to Wang Jin’er would be problematic or not, he didn’t really care. Firstly, Wang Jin’er would marry him, and secondly, the New Century Group was destined to take an unusual path. Without him supporting her from behind, securing her position wouldn’t be easy.

Ten minutes later.

Su Yuqing and Jiang Linda entered Li Feng’s office one after the other. Upon seeing Li Feng, Jiang Linda wasn’t surprised as she’s used to this hands-off boss disappearing for periods, but his sudden presence at the company was odd to her.

"Why did you suddenly come to the company and call us over? Is there something?"

"Yes, there is a matter."

Li Feng straightened up and looked at Su Yuqing and Jiang Linda, "I’ve recently established a new company in Sea City, which might open soon."

"Hmm?"

The two women looked at Li Feng with puzzled expressions.

"The president of this new company will be Wang Jin’er."

"Jin’er, really?"

"Yes, this new company will be quite large, so Jin’er cannot be without people by her side. Your capabilities have been proven very well over the past six months, so I’m here to ask if you two would like to take positions at the new company."

After exchanging a glance, Su Yuqing, who was previously Wang Jin’er’s secretary, naturally wanted to go. As for Jiang Linda, she hesitated because, at Myth Communication, though she was merely a president’s assistant, her authority was similar to that of the president.

"Can I ask what the new company mainly does?"

Jiang Linda looked up at Li Feng.

"It’s quite complicated, but there’s no rush to answer. The new company will hold a launch event, and you two will oversee it on behalf of Myth. As for whether to join or not, you can decide after you understand it."

"What if we want to stay at Myth? You wouldn’t shut down Myth, would you?" Jiang Linda asked Li Feng.

Anyone could see that Li Feng wasn’t too concerned about Myth Communication. Back when Li Feng got involved initially, it was also because of Wang Jin’er, as there were rumors of an engagement between them, and Li Feng was a son-in-law in the Wang Family.

"Of course not. If you don’t want to join the new company, then the presidency of Myth Communication is yours, and you can run it as you like."

Jiang Linda swallowed hard: "You...!"

"This company holds many memories for me, so preserving it is also good. Of course, I won’t shortchange you; you’ll be the president and get a 30% stake."

"Whether it makes money or loses, it’s up to you. Even if it goes bankrupt, it doesn’t matter."

Li Feng said generously. Looking at Li Feng, Jiang Linda thought his generosity was a bit much. If it weren’t for him never implying anything untoward, she might have thought he had designs on her.

To casually give away a company like this was extravagant.

It’s worth mentioning Myth Communication wasn’t the struggling company it was when first taken over, with only two or three employees. By utilizing Li Feng’s contacts, it has signed public relations contracts with several large companies.

These contracts ensure well over a billion annually.

This places Myth Communication in the top ten within Sea City’s PR circles, with stable long-term contracts that guarantee returns regardless of external conditions.

"Let me think about it."

Jiang Linda bit her lip. Su Yuqing, standing to the side, was also surprised, but besides envy, she didn’t have much feeling. While Myth Communication is fine, the nature of the industry sets a ceiling for the company.

Following Wang Jin’er might offer more prospects, especially with the Wang Family behind her.

Moreover, she’s realized that even as a hands-off boss, Li Feng has quite a background and strength. This new company likely isn’t simple.

Li Feng also gave them time to consider, so she wasn’t without options.

"Alright, you two should contact Jin’er over the next couple of days and manage the opening event. That’s all from me, so I’ll leave now."

With that, Li Feng stood up. Watching him leave in a carefree manner, Su Yuqing and Jiang Linda rolled their eyes at his laid-back boss attitude.

Jiang Linda coughed: "Aren’t you going to learn about the company’s recent situation?"

"No one has complained that you two are using public resources for personal gain, and you haven’t called me saying the company is broke or going bankrupt; that means the company is running smoothly. What’s there to ask about?"

With these words from Li Feng, the two women exchanged knowing glances.

Having such an uninvolved boss is a mix of luck and misfortune.

Jiang Linda thought for a moment, and indeed, there wasn’t much to report. The company ran smoothly. If there were big issues, she would need to report them, but for a hands-off boss like Li Feng, such reports seemed meaningless.

She couldn’t be bothered to waste her breath.

"Oh, by the way, did you read today’s news?"

"Hmm?"

Li Feng looked at Jiang Linda: "Today’s news?"

"Yes, the news about Xia Peng."

Li Feng made a sound: "Did you take on their PR business?"

Jiang Linda nodded: "Yes, HY Entertainment took the initiative. This time, they seem to be making a significant investment, engaging not only us at Myth Communication, but also most of Sea City’s top ten PR companies have received their invitation."
