Sun Kong, without a word, left New Huaguo Mountain, flying for millions of miles. He then plunged into the heaven realm, which was billions of trillions of miles thick, gradually moving away from the Primordial Three Realms.
He headed towards a special coordinate in the chaotic void.
Meanwhile, not long after he left, at the Spirit Mountain, Tathagata Buddha and the other five felt a tinge of regret that he hadn't taken them along.
But even more so, they were weeping with joy!
"Finally, we've temporarily sent away this Monkey King. Two Buddhas, you must also feel, just like the four of us, that you wish to see him less."
"During this period, the Buddhas of our Spirit Mountain have been suffering like we've endured eight lifetimes of bad luck. Every day has been harder than the last, every month more arduous. All of this is thanks to this Monkey King!"
"Although the record sent by the Jade Emperor last time indicated that this Monkey King might be a seedling for the next Saint, the cost of serving and obeying him is too great. Even we, the high-ranking officials of Spirit Mountain, cannot bear it!"
As expected, the first person to complain that Sun Kong was too much of a troublemaker, too tormenting, and too insane was none other than Guanyin, one of the six high-ranking officials and the foremost of the Four Great Bodhisattvas.
Hearing her words, the other three Bodhisattvas, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and Julai Sun, all began to weep aloud.
They no longer seemed like lofty Bodhisattvas, but like ordinary resentful women in the mortal realm.
They were nearly turning Tathagata Buddha's private palace into a sea of suffering with their tears.
Seeing this, Tathagata Buddha frowned slightly. He intended to reprimand these four subordinates who were sometimes useful and sometimes not, but considering their many years of hard work,
He decided to be lenient for the moment.
He did not pressure the four too much.
However, Randeng Buddha on the other side found it somewhat intolerable.
He couldn't help but speak up to admonish them!
"Guanyin, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Julai Sun, what is the meaning of this?"
"Although that Monkey King, Sun, has a mischievous nature, likes to court disaster, and is extremely mad, he hasn't brought us absolutely no benefits."
"Putting other things aside, just consider that he just agreed that upon his return, he would fully cooperate and negotiate successfully with all parties involved in the eighty-one tribulations."
"Isn't this a sign that he is slowly being converted by us, slowly being influenced, and gradually turning over a new leaf?"
"Furthermore, as the saying goes, if I respect you one foot, you will respect me ten feet. I believe we should still hold the greatest confidence in Wukong, whom the Buddha and Empress Nuwa personally selected."
As he spoke more and more, Randeng Buddha appeared to the other five as if he were possessed. Not only was he speaking up for Sun Kong, but his words were becoming increasingly absurd.
"This confidence is not blind."
"This confidence is not only related to how we will cooperate with him in the future and promote the Journey to the West tribulation, but more importantly, since Sun Kong is so good to his two younger brothers and third younger brother who came from outside, how can he be without a conscience?"
"Saying that we respect him one foot and he respects us ten feet is highly unlikely."
"However, at the very least, I am confident that if we respect him one foot, he can return the respect of one inch. Even if it's only an inch, it's still excellent."
"We cannot, for a little bit of grievance, truly fall out with him completely, have no Journey to the West to embark upon, and then be punished by the Heavenly Dao and perish together, can we?"
Randeng Buddha's words, instead of helping,
Made the other five stare at him with utter disbelief.
"Why is this Buddha speaking up for Sun Kong instead?"
"Did Sun Kong secretly send him gifts?"
"Or, after being bullied by Sun Kong so many times, has he developed that so-called Stockholm Syndrome, where he only hopes Sun Kong will return an inch of sincerity and feels satisfied?"
The Four Great Bodhisattvas looked at Randeng Buddha, who was inexplicably making excuses for Sun Kong, as if he were an idiot.
Of course, these thoughts could only be exchanged in their hearts and through their eyes; they dared not speak them out for fear of death.
After all, Randeng Buddha was the second-in-command.
If they truly angered him, it would be detrimental to the four of them.
Randeng Buddha did not often lose his temper, nor did he explode like Tathagata Buddha. His cultivation was not the highest, but that did not mean he was not strong.
He was, after all, a master at the Great Perfection of Hunyuan Da Luo Golden Immortal.
With his twenty-four Dinghai Pearls, even if he rewarded one to Sun Kong, he would still have twenty-three. Each pearl, when unleashed, was equivalent to half of his main body's cultivation.
This was definitely not something the Four Great Bodhisattvas could withstand.
In his other hand, he held the Lingjiu Lamp and the Qiankun Ruler. Although they were not as famous as the Dinghai Pearls, they were still the accompanying spirit treasures that Randeng Buddha had obtained when he attained enlightenment and took form.
Each of them was not weak.
Each could be equivalent to the cultivation of a Great Perfection Taiyi Golden Immortal!
"Oh my, why is this Brother Randeng surrendering faster than I am? I merely felt that cultivating Wukong was not easy, and raising him was even harder. Moreover, while he is mischievous, his strength is top-notch."
"That's why I have forgiven and tolerated him countless times."
"How can it be that I never uttered the words 'If I respect him one foot, he will respect me one inch,' and yet he has said them?"
"Good heavens, could this Brother Randeng actually be more powerful than us and have calculated some unknown heavenly secrets related to that Wukong?"
Unlike the Four Great Bodhisattvas who only complained, and even then only in their hearts,
Tathagata Buddha, as the leader of Spirit Mountain, considered issues sufficiently... one-sidedly!
He did not consider other possibilities.
Instead, he firmly believed that Randeng Buddha, using the twenty Dinghai Pearls that Zhao Gongming had lost to him back then, had foreseen some more subtle secret about Sun Kong.
He believed that Sun Kong would definitely repay them more in the future.
Therefore, he had broken protocol and spoken up for Sun Kong.
But what exactly was this matter?
In front of the Four Great Bodhisattvas, Tathagata Buddha was too embarrassed to admit that his ability to calculate heavenly secrets was inferior to Randeng Buddha's. He could only inquire another day.
However, regardless of the reason, from this point forward, these six high-ranking officials, due to Randeng Buddha's words and the record sent by the Jade Emperor last time,
Their resistance and dissatisfaction with Sun Kong's stubbornness, mischievousness, recklessness, and madness gradually decreased.
Instead, a sense of inexplicable anticipation arose.
As a result, invisibly, the effect of Sun Kong shocking them was diminished!
...
At the same time.
Sun Kong, on the other side, was unaware that because he had agreed to cooperate with external parties in negotiations and pre-determine the details of the eighty-one tribulations, Randeng Buddha had mistakenly judged him to be returning an inch of respect.
This resulted in the six of them being less shocked by his subsequent reckless actions.
And consequently, they lost quite a bit!
At this moment, Sun Kong was wholeheartedly focused on finding that special coordinate and quickly uncovering the important clues about Liu Er Mihou's rebirth and becoming the new Six-Eared Macaque.
For this purpose.
He had no time to use the "Wuhou Seven Stars Formation" to calculate the reactions of the Spirit Mountain Buddhas after his departure.
However, relying on the system's navigation, he left the area within a radius of nine hundred million miles of Spirit Mountain, and also left the heaven realm, which was billions of trillions of miles thick.
Then, he ventured into the chaotic void, which was immeasurably vaster and boundless compared to the Primordial Three Realms.
Finally, he found that unmovable and unconnectable coordinate!
