"Sanjouno Haruhime"

"Fire Dragon’s Wing Beat!"

Drake swept his arm, unleashing two fiery blasts that sent the attacking battle prostitutes flying.

But Aisha, exploiting the opening, charged, her greatsword aimed at Drake.

Drake sidestepped Aisha’s attack, striking the greatsword’s blade with his hand.

Aisha’s grip faltered; the greatsword clattered to the ground. Drake, without hesitation, punched her away.

An Amazon wielding twin scimitars closed in, launching a relentless assault.

Drake, lightly tapping his feet, moved continuously, evading the slashing blades.

This Amazon’s fighting style was too direct; Drake saw through her movements in a few glances.

Stopping his evasive maneuvers, Drake grabbed the scimitars’ backs. With a powerful twist of his wrists, he contorted the sharp blades into a twisted mess.

Before the Amazon could react, Drake delivered a powerful kick, sending her flying.

Aisha retrieved her greatsword and shouted, "Don’t get any closer! We can’t win against this man in a direct confrontation. Use the magic swords!"

The Ishtar Familia controlled the entire red-light district and, naturally, lacked nothing in terms of wealth. They also possessed a considerable stockpile of magic swords within their ranks.

Upon hearing Aisha’s command, the battle prostitutes in the rearguard promptly drew their magic swords, aiming them at Drake.

However, engaging in a magic sword battle with a blacksmith capable of crafting magic swords himself felt to Drake like a blatant underestimation of his abilities.

"Then let me show you the latest addition to my Dragon’s Roar series!"

Drake drew a crimson crystal short sword from his waist and activated it instantly.

The blade of the short sword disintegrated into countless red points of light, and a vast expanse of flames erupted into existence in the air.

These flames, however, were not unleashed freely; instead, they coalesced before Drake into the form of a colossal dragon’s head.

The flames, lightning, and ice conjured by the Ishtar Familia using their magic swords were all swallowed whole by the dragon’s head in a single gulp.

Then, turning its gaze towards the Ishtar Familia’s forces, the colossal dragon’s head opened its maw once more, revealing a swirling vortex of immense elemental magical power within its gaping jaws.

Aisha sensed the presence of mortal danger, her pupils constricting in response.

"No good! Everyone, get out of the way!"

Even as she issued the order for the others to evade, she herself charged forward, brandishing her greatsword.

"Come then, Tyrant’s Domination! —Brave warrior, mighty hero, greedy and violent hero! To obtain the Empress’s sash, prove yourself! Satisfy me, pierce me, slay me as proof! My ravenous blade is named Hippolyta!"

The magical power contained within the dragon’s maw erupted in a single, overwhelming torrent, and at the same time, Aisha’s chanted spell, "Hell Kaios," reached its completion.

The ferocious magical power coiled around her greatsword, transforming it into a projectile that she launched towards the oncoming storm of magical energy unleashed by the fire dragon.

Amidst a tremendous explosion, Aisha was sent flying backwards.

"Very clever,"

Drake observed, noting that Aisha hadn’t attempted a head-on collision but had instead cleverly used her own magic to alter the trajectory of the magical energy storm, thereby protecting her fellow battle prostitutes.

Even so, the sheer force of the impact was astonishing, enough to send even a Level 3 adventurer like Aisha flying backwards. She crashed heavily to the ground, completely unable to even lift her weapon.

One of the Amazons beside her quickly rushed to her aid, but before she could reach Aisha, she was sent sprawling by someone who had just approached from behind.

Drake’s gaze turned icy as he fixed his attention upon the newcomer.

Although they were on opposing sides, Drake had a grudging respect for Aisha’s selfless dedication to protecting her comrades.

The fact that this newcomer had so callously attacked her already grievously injured companion was utterly despicable and deeply infuriating.

Phryne had changed into a full suit of plate armor, her grotesque face completely hidden behind the helmet’s mask.

Wielding two battle-axes in her hands, Phryne declared, "Useless fools, neither your beauty nor your strength is of any use whatsoever!"

Having finished her assessment, she turned her attention to Drake. "Hey, you bastard! It’s time I settled the score with you!"

Drake had absolutely no intention of engaging in idle chatter with her. In an instant, he closed the distance between them and unleashed a powerful punch.

"Fire Dragon’s Iron Fist!"

Phryne was sent flying backwards, a clear imprint of Drake’s fist left upon her thick breastplate, and blood spurted from the gaps in her helmet’s visor.

Drake frowned slightly, muttering to himself, "Adamantite armor... No wonder it was able to withstand the impact of my fist."

Phryne, using her battle-axes to support herself, struggled to her feet, shouting, "You lowly fox, what are you waiting for?!"

Phryne was genuinely taken aback by the fact that even armor crafted from adamantite was unable to fully defend against Drake’s attacks. She had no choice but to unveil her trump card.

From the rear, a petite figure cloaked in dark robes stepped forward, a complex magic circle unfolding as she began to chant.

"Grow large! Its power, its action, countless treasures, countless desires. When the bell tolls, I pray for glory and fantasy.

Grow large! Devour the divine meal of this body, grant the golden light of the gods. Grant the hammer back to the earth, grant blessings. —Grow large!"

The "All-Treasure Hammer" spell! A spell of such immense power that even the gods themselves would marvel at its capabilities.

The reason the gods descended to the lower world was because they had perceived the boundless potential that existed within mortals.

Some mortals would even awaken spells or skills that defied all expectations, and some spells or skills were simply too over-the-top, to the point that they appeared to be outright cheating.

In Drake’s past life, many people referred to the three most egregious examples of this phenomenon in the original story as Orario’s Three Cheats!

Even the protagonist, who possessed the [One Heart’s Longing] skill, did not qualify as one of the Three Cheats, and yet, the fox girl standing before him, wielding the "All-Treasure Hammer," was indeed one of them.

Sanjo no Haru-hime, originally from a noble family in the Far East, had been framed by a dwarf who had come to offer tribute and subsequently cast out by her own father.

Later, Haru-hime had been sold to the Ishtar Familia and became an apprentice prostitute. However, Haru-hime was exceedingly pure of heart; the mere sight of a man’s body was enough to cause her to faint.

As a result, she was disliked by her clients and had remained chaste to this day, completely oblivious to this fact.

Logically speaking, someone like her would have no place in the Ishtar Familia, yet Ishtar had kept her precisely because of her "All-Treasure Hammer" spell.

Its effect was level enhancement, capable of raising a target’s level by one.

In Orario, level represented absolute strength. The ability to unleash the power of a higher level was enough to turn the tide of any battle.

The reason why Haru-hime, the colorful fox, was considered one of Orario’s Three Cheats was also due to the fact that she would later awaken another spell, "Ninefold."

The effect of that spell was quite simple: it allowed her to store up to nine "All-Treasure Hammer" spells, enabling her to use them on nine different targets simultaneously.

In other words, if Haru-hime had been born a decade or two earlier and had received proper training, and had been present during the battle to slay the one-eyed black dragon,

the 〈Empress〉 could have been directly boosted to Level 10, and even if she couldn’t have single-handedly defeated the black dragon, the other elites, having been elevated to Levels 8 and 9, would have been more than capable of destroying its head.

Unfortunately, perhaps the number of miracles that a single generation can produce is limited, and Haru-hime was not born in that era.

However, even in this era, the role that Haru-hime could play was of paramount importance.

Whichever of Orario’s two kings obtained Haru-hime’s services would be able to achieve absolute dominance over the entire city.

The Loki Familia’s three top-tier members, along with Ais, would all be elevated to Level 7, making the complete annihilation of Freya’s Familia a certainty.

On the other hand, even if only Ottar were to receive the benefits of the spell, his elevation to Level 8 would make it entirely plausible for him to single-handedly defeat the Loki Familia.

There is no denying that the "All-Treasure Hammer" is an extremely powerful spell, but it is not sufficient to change everything; at the very least, it would not be enough to alter the current balance of power.

"Do you see? I am not the same as I was before...!"

Before Phryne could finish her sentence, Drake’s palm slammed against her helmet, his arm muscles straining as he forced her to the ground.

Rising to his feet, Drake placed his foot firmly upon Phryne’s helmet. "Is that so? How peculiar. I don’t feel anything at all."

Drake exerted pressure with his foot, and cracks instantly spread across the ground beneath him, while Phryne’s adamantite helmet began to deform and crack.

Phryne let out a piercing shriek, begging for mercy. "I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I was wrong! Just spare me, and I’ll do anything you want! How about it? You must be feeling rather moved by my sincerity, right? After all, I’m even more beautiful than a goddess...!"

"Shut up!"

Drake could no longer tolerate her incessant pleas. He crushed Phryne’s helmet completely, forcing her head into the ground. And with that, the world fell silent.
