"The True Trump Card"
Drake, activating Dragon Blood mode, unleashed incredible speed; Filvis Challia struggled to keep up.
Others only saw two blurs—red and white—constantly colliding.
Drake dodged Filvis Challia’s short sword, but she evaded his punch.
"Sweep Away Enemies, Shatter Evil Staff! Supreme God—God of Wine’s Staff!"
The distance was too close; the lightning struck Drake’s chest.
But Filvis Challia was surprised to see white vapor rise from Drake’s chest, instantly healing the wound.
Seizing her momentary distraction, Drake closed in, severing her arm with a hand-chop.
Filvis Challia retreated; numerous tumors pulsed on her wound. The sight was jarring on a beautiful girl.
In an instant, a new arm grew.
They clashed again without words. Filvis Challia retrieved her sword.
She swung repeatedly, each strike aimed at Drake’s vitals.
Drake’s self-healing came from Dragon Power; it wasn’t as extreme as Filvis Challia’s monstrous body.
So he blocked, but Filvis Challia, relying on her monstrous body, didn’t dodge.
At one point, Drake’s flames reduced Filvis Challia’s head to a skull, but she instantly recovered.
The battle reached a stalemate. The situation elsewhere was also dire.
If the female Fallen Sprite avatar specialized in magic, the Heavenly Bull specialized in physical attacks.
Gareth’s earth-shattering axe barely scratched the Heavenly Bull.
The recoil sent Gareth flying. He landed, shaking his numb hand. "It’s tough!"
The Heavenly Bull stepped forward, aiming to crush him.
"Wind!"
Activating Wind Spirit Sprint, Ais ran up the Heavenly Bull’s leg to its head, attacking the upper, female form.
But even a physically specialized Fallen Sprite had magic.
The moment Ais attacked, the Fallen Sprite chanted a short spell; a lightning spear shot out.
Ais shattered the spear but was sent flying.
The Amazon sisters, leaping over Ais, attacked the Heavenly Bull.
The Heavenly Bull swung its foreleg, colliding with their weapons.
The size difference showed the futility of their effort, yet the Amazons held.
Bete leaped, igniting his metal boots with his magic sword.
His flaming kick struck the bull’s head, forcing its massive body to rear up.
Finn didn’t fight but observed.
His thumb throbbed; it wasn’t just the Heavenly Bull. Finn was wary of Dionysus’s hidden trump card.
Rivilia began chanting, preparing a wide-area annihilation spell.
Perhaps sensing the threat, the Heavenly Bull turned towards Rivilia.
But the Loki Familia wouldn’t let that happen.
"Immersed in the sea of my desires, nurtured in the sea of my hopes—Fate descends. Lose form, shed fangs, become the King Serpent.
Pierce the ocean, traverse the earth, overturn the world. Grasp fate, conquer fate, trample fate! Instant Petrification!"
Tione chanted her "List Iorum" spell.
This was a binding spell with a chance to forcibly stop the target. The success rate depended on magical power.
Tione got lucky. Normally, against the Heavenly Bull, her success rate would be low, but the Heavenly Bull stopped.
Tione’s "List Iorum" was powerful; once activated, it always worked.
The Heavenly Bull was petrified; the others seized the opportunity.
"Tione, good job!"
Gareth roared, swinging his axe. Tiona followed, slashing with her twin blades.
A large X-shaped wound appeared; Bete followed.
It was late at night, the moon bright; Bete’s [Moonlight Howl] was activated.
Bete howled, his fur bristling, eyes bloodshot.
"Die!"
Bete kicked the wound Gareth and Tiona made, sending green fragments flying.
Then Bete retreated; Rivilia’s chant was nearing completion.
Rivilia was Orario’s strongest mage; besides parallel chanting, she could chant ultra-short, short, and long spells simultaneously, achieving ultra-long spell power with "Linked Chanting."
Rivilia used this to unleash her "Superior Victory Sword" spell.
The fiery sword pierced the Heavenly Bull.
After the sword dissipated, half the Heavenly Bull’s body was destroyed.
But it was a monster; its magic stone wasn’t destroyed, and it could heal quickly.
But the Loki Familia wouldn’t give it the chance.
Ais appeared, her Despair piercing the exposed magic stone.
Finn didn’t look at the defeated Heavenly Bull but at the composed Dionysus.
His composure was unnatural.
Dionysus clapped. "Excellent! Worthy of the Loki Familia, the Giant Slayer.
Because of you, Orario is boring. But tonight, Orario enters a new era."
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Loud explosions echoed throughout Orario; fire lit the night sky.
Finn bit his thumb. "What did you do?"
Dionysus was ecstatic. "Listen! It’s beautiful!"
Everyone heard it—a song-like sound echoing through Orario.
Rivilia’s expression changed. "Finn, that’s a chant more terrifying than an ultra-long spell. I don’t know what it is, but the magical power could destroy Orario."
Finn looked at Dionysus. "Is this your plan?"
