Capítulo 1301: Chapter 1301: Action
“Hong, where are you? Your second brother and I have arrived, we’re coming to find you.”
Liu Zhiweng found a public phone at the train station and called Liu Hong.
The two of them had already gotten off the train.
“Big brother! Where are you?”
Liu Hong was startled.
How did big brother and second brother find out?
“The train station. Your second brother and I took a three-day three-night train. Tell us, where are you?”
The two had come as quickly as possible.
“I’ll come pick you up. Just wait for me at the ticket office of the train station.”
Liu Hong hurriedly took a taxi to the train station.
Three hours later.
Liu Zhiweng and Liu Zhiguo were sitting in Liu Hong’s small room.
Each with a bowl of zhajiangmian, slurping away. They were starving; the snacks on the train can only be so good.
This hot meal left both of them completely satisfied.
Liu Zhiweng looked at Liu Hong’s complexion; she didn’t seem as haggard as he’d imagined, rather she looked spirited.
But she had lost a lot of weight.
“Why did you lose so much weight?”
Liu Hong looked at her big and second brothers, smiling as she said, “Isn’t that just perfect? Saves me from dieting. Looking slimmer is prettier anyways. It’s not nice to always be called a fat pig.” In fact, Liu Hong was quite satisfied now; she had indeed slimmed down.
Lost over twenty pounds.
Now she had a figure.
“How are things now? What about that bastard Li Shuanzhu?”
Liu Zhiweng asked.
“Li Shuanzhu should still be traveling with that woman, along with the kids. I guess they’ll be back in four or five days.”
Liu Hong was calm talking about Li Shuanzhu; this man no longer affected her emotions.
“What are you planning to do? Your second brother and I are here to back you up; can’t let that bastard off easy.” Liu Zhiweng feared his sister might still be soft-hearted.
Liu Hong laughed, “Don’t worry, big brother. I’ve learned a lesson from my mistake. If I haven’t, I wouldn’t be fit to be your sister. I’ve already sold the house. All that’s left are the bank deposits and the store’s goods. I was worried about handling it all alone. Now that you’re here, you’ve given me courage.”
In fact, even if they didn’t come, Liu Hong had planned to find Bai Yue. Everyone in the shop was related to Li Shuanzhu. She couldn’t manage them alone. Without some help, she wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything.
There’s also the money in the passbook.
Fortunately, the passbook was still under her name.
Li Shuanzhu, trying to be cheap, kept the business license in Liu Hong’s name, so all related accounts had to use the passbook in her name.
It was simply convenient all these years to use her name.
Bai Yue did it for Liu Hong’s sake.
Their rent and management fees were relatively cheap.
Otherwise, would Li Shuanzhu really keep the money under Liu Hong’s name?
But Liu Hong wasn’t sure how much exactly was left in those passbooks.
She could only go to the bank and check.
After eating.
The two brothers didn’t rest either.
They went straight to the bank with Liu Hong.
Liu Hong showed her ID and asked at the bank.
Sure enough, the two passbooks under her name were originally the company accounts.
It seemed Li Shuanzhu was used to bullying Liu Hong over the years.
Liu Hong always kept her head down, never resisting.
He wasn’t cautious at all.
One account had 300,000, the other 180,000.
But both bank cards were with Li Shuanzhu.
Liu Hong didn’t even know the bank password.
But it didn’t matter.
Liu Hong took her ID and reported both bank cards as lost.
The only problem was she couldn’t immediately withdraw this money.
Replacing a lost bank card would take a week, and by then, Li Shuanzhu might already be back.
Liu Hong didn’t care either.
If she couldn’t get the money in time, her lawyer would find ways to minimize the financial loss.
Today she just received photos taken by An Zhiyuan’s company employees, showing Li Shuanzhu with that woman, and information and bills from the hotel they stayed at by the seaside.
Including many little moments with the two of them and the two kids.
There’s a recording of Li Lu excitedly calling that woman “mom”.
These evidences were enough to prove Li Shuanzhu’s infidelity.
And of course, it was thanks to Li Shuanzhu overestimating himself, thinking he had Liu Hong under control, without any concerns.
Even when they were out, they always pretended to be a married couple to outsiders.
Even when staying at a hotel, they registered as a married couple.
With kids in tow, no one really suspected them.
No one even asked for a marriage certificate.
When people have kids, they must be married, right?
Just to be safe, Liu Hong made a call to the local area.
Whatever happened there didn’t concern her anymore, but she had to go to the shop first thing the next morning.
She was ready to leave nothing for Li Shuanzhu.
……
Over at the Yalong Bay Hotel on Nan Island.
Li Shuanzhu was messing around with his woman in the room.
Afterwards, the two were chatting leisurely.
Li Shuanzhu leaned against the headboard as the woman nestled against him like she had no bones.
Her fair fingers drew circles on his chest.
Watching her made his heart itch.
She was like an old witch.
Despite her not being young anymore, she certainly had skills; Li Shuanzhu had only been with her all these years. If she didn’t have her charms, he wouldn’t be so attached to her.
“Honey, I want to be with you officially. Always sneaking around like this, it doesn’t feel right.”
The woman knew Li Shuanzhu had money. He’d spent quite a bit on her over the years, and though he couldn’t be called a millionaire,
she knew he had at least one or two million.
She knew what she was worth.
If she wanted to snag a rich man, she needed youth and beauty.
With her looks, she had some tricks to keep Li Shuanzhu. If not, she’d just be like her other sisters, having to accompany others to dance and drink at this age.
But the older she got, the more she wanted security.
Without a marriage certificate from Li Shuanzhu, she felt unprotected.
If one day he grew tired of her,
she’d end up losing both him and his money.
She didn’t see Li Shuanzhu’s wife Liu Hong as a threat; that woman was no match for her.
Li Shuanzhu laughed, “What do you want? Aren’t you already like my wife? Even my daughter calls you mom, why bother with that old hag? She’s no threat to you.”
The woman pouted and whined, “But it doesn’t feel right to me. I always hope you’re mine alone. What woman wants to share her man? Besides, my parents already know about us.
They keep pushing for us to get married and have a celebration. You can’t make me lose face in front of friends and family.
If we bring this up, it gives a bad reputation.”
Li Shuanzhu thought about it, considering Liu Hong wouldn’t dare cause trouble. At worst, they’d get a divorce, and he wasn’t really afraid of that.
“Alright, I’ll listen to you. When we get back, I’ll divorce that dead woman, and she’ll leave with nothing. We’ll have a grand wedding and I’ll officially bring you into our home.”
After all these years, Li Shuanzhu felt it was time to give his woman a proper title. It seemed only fitting.
