Chapter 475 Experimental Methods, Confused Tony

Lin Feng pondered for a long time before sighing.

Enhancing soul strength was not as simple as enhancing physical strength.

He felt he was being a bit stubborn.

Since his soul was already strong enough, why not just let it develop naturally?

Besides, he had never paid much attention to how powerful souls existed in the Marvel universe.

Alright, Lin Feng was just venting his negative emotions.

Strengthening his soul was necessary, both based on the advice from Gu Yi in the zombie universe and Lin Feng's own deductions.

His intuition had always been accurate; if he didn't work on this, he would surely regret it later.

Lin Feng recalled several methods for increasing soul strength he had seen in books.

Absorbing mysterious creatures was out of the question.

He selected a method that seemed unlikely but, upon closer thought, had some merit.

It was a fragment recorded in an unnamed book, with many parts missing.

Lin Feng looked up at the moon hanging in the night sky, along with the twinkling stars, and shook his head in dissatisfaction.

The book mentioned that the more starlight there was, the better, and the brighter the better. This place was clearly unsuitable.

However, it wasn't a major problem. Lin Feng knew of several places on Earth where one could get closer to the stars.

He stood up and soared into the sky, followed by several sonic booms, and then he disappeared into the night.

Meanwhile, above New York, Tony was flying towards Stark Tower in his suit.

"Sir! Mr. Lin Feng has already left," F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s voice echoed from within the helmet.

"What?" Tony frowned. "Did I arrive too late? Where did he go?"

"Calibrating information..."

"Calculating trajectory..."

F.R.I.D.A.Y. was incredibly efficient. Within ten seconds, Lin Feng's flight path was displayed as a map inside the helmet.

A straight flight path.

Looking at the route, Tony couldn't help but nod. He liked simple, brute-force flight paths too.

After all, a straight line is the shortest distance between two points. Airplanes, due to air routes, often couldn't fly directly between two locations.

But individuals like Lin Feng and himself, as Iron Man, didn't need to worry about such things; they flew however was most efficient.

However, this also allowed F.R.I.D.A.Y. to calculate Lin Feng's destination.

"Sir, based on the trajectory, Mr. Lin Feng's destination is the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve in New Zealand."

"At his current speed, he will arrive at his destination within one minute..."

Inside the helmet, photos and the location of the reserve appeared.

Tony paused in mid-air, perplexed.

He knew that place. Thanks to the strict control of light pollution in the area, it was illuminated by countless stars almost every night.

He could see the Milky Way there. He had taken Pepper and little Morgan there on a trip.

But he didn't understand why Lin Feng would go there. Was it just to admire the stars?

That didn't seem right. With Lin Feng's abilities, he could fly into outer space. Why would he bother looking at the stars on Earth?

"Sir, shall we go after him?" F.R.I.D.A.Y. asked emotionlessly from within the helmet.

"Based on the suit's maximum cruising speed, it will take us over 10 minutes to reach that destination."

Tony pursed his lips.

"Yes, why not? I need to talk to him about something."

"Divert all energy to the thrusters, activate stealth mode. I want to disappear from radar!"

As soon as he finished speaking, F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s response came.

"Energy lines re-routed. Stealth mode activated."

The suit's two legs merged into a massive propulsion unit.

Another sonic boom echoed through the sky, and Tony vanished into the night.

Meanwhile, his target, Lin Feng, had already arrived at his destination.

Above him, countless stars twinkled, and he could even see the Milky Way.

Such a spectacle brought a sense of deep contentment.

It truly lived up to its name as a Dark Sky Reserve.

The starlight here was incomparable to that in the city.

In the current era, with severe light pollution, seeing even a few stars was a good omen.

It was the middle of the night, yet there were still quite a few people on the ground observing the stars.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, Lin Feng chose to become invisible and then let his soul leave his body.

After his soul departed, Lin Feng's body didn't lose control like Strange's. Instead, it seemed to enter a standby mode, automatically hovering in mid-air.

Next, Lin Feng recalled the method he had memorized from the book and reread it.

On planets with abundant life, a special magnetic field would be generated.

Within this magnetic field, the starlight possessed a magical property.

It could nourish the souls of living beings.

However, this passive nourishment was imperceptible to ordinary life forms, and the improvement was too slow.

Therefore, ancient practitioners had developed a method to actively draw this mysterious energy to nourish the soul.

This was the method recorded in the book.

Following the book's instructions, Lin Feng closed his eyes, began to communicate with the magnetic field, and thus absorbed the transformed starlight.

This was the only method he could find for now that had no negative side effects.

Within Earth's unique magnetic field, the starlight transformed into tiny, invisible light particles and slowly gathered towards Lin Feng's soul, then merged into it.

It was precisely because of this magnetic field, unique to living planets, that this effect was possible. Otherwise, Lin Feng would have flown into outer space.

In this regard, Earth once again displayed its wondrous nature.

Feeling the benefits brought by those light particles, Lin Feng was happy.

This method could indeed enhance soul strength, though the speed was not ideal.

Moreover, for Lin Feng's current soul strength, it was like a drop in the ocean.

Comparing the speed, it was slower than the time and extent of power increase he gained from basking in the sun.

But Lin Feng was still happy because he had found a suitable method.

He never expected to achieve a massive breakthrough overnight. All he needed to do now was to improve this method to increase its efficiency.

Having obtained the method he desired, Lin Feng stopped absorbing the light particles.

He had verified the method; spending the entire night here posing and absorbing a meager amount of light was out of the question.

Lin Feng decided to head back. Tomorrow, after returning Christine's soul, he could go back to his own universe and then think about how to improve this method.

He stood up, patted himself down, and with a wave of his hand, his body automatically flew towards him.

Well, for the return trip, he'd use teleportation and find a place to sleep!

Without a sound, Lin Feng instantly teleported back to New York.

It took less than ten seconds.

In the sky, a man in an iron suit executed an emergency stop.

"What did you say? Say it again?" Tony asked in disbelief, slamming on his brakes mid-air.

"Sir, Mr. Lin Feng has already returned to the city center."
